From our initial interactions with the owner of A One Glass, Moyad, he appeared to be a friendly, honest and a reliable business person. But after he had replaced the glass in our pivoting window, it would no longer close to align with the frame. It has lost it's ability to be weather tight or able to be secured. The window is now sagging and misaligned with the frame. When approaching him about this condition, he became unreasonable and refused to to take responsibility. We would recommend in the future no one do business with A One Glass. There appears to be a lack of experience or know-how with windows themselves and the ability to handle issues directly outside of replacing the glass.

A-One came out promptly (within 30 minutes!), and measured, and quoted me a flat $250 for a window replacement (including parts and labor). I'm pretty handy, so I was actually looking to do it myself. As such, I didn't end up hiring them, but they were very nice to deal with and didn't try to pressure me into paying for their services. I did find another provider that kindly instructed me how to remove, measure, and replace my broken glass pack for a much more reasonable price.
Description of Work: I had a broken window, so I called A-One for an estimate.

I had condensation in my big kitchen window. I contacted A-One with the dimensions and got a quote by e-mail. They were prompt and very nice, but when they installed the first window, they cracked it and so had to reorder. It was not a big deal; I was very understanding. However, when they came back to install the window I think they were rushing because they had lost money and they messed up the trim on the window so badly I had to add molding and rework the whole thing. For example, they put a piece of outside trim on the inside and vice versa, even though it was a different color! So it didn't fit right. In short, it was cheap, but it looked terrible in the end and would have cost 3 times that to fix it up had a friend not graciously done it for me. I would rather a contractor be honest in their estimate than just try to get the business and do a lousy job that costs more to fix in the end. Shame on me for not watching them like a hawk, but I trusted them.
