NGL Pavingstone & Retaining Wall

Excellent work. Our retaining wall collapsed and Manuel and his crew rebuilt it. They also built a new fence and poured a 10x10 concrete platform in our yard so we can place a shed. From the beginning, the whole team was very professional and responsive. They showed up when they said they would, kept me up-to-date, were very honest, and always available to talk on the phone when I had questions.

We got four different bids for this set of projects. We went with NGL because we were really impressed with how thorough and professional Holly and Alexander were in creating a bid. The bid itself was in range with two of the other three (the fourth bid was wayyyy outside the others in terms of cost; no comparison). Manuel and crew were impressively punctual every step of the way. They showed up when they said they would and communicated clearly as to plans, start date, days they’d be working, etc. the whole crew was really respectful and professional and nice. Nice isn’t something one always gets with a contractor; to get it with a full crew who is also punctual and does extremely good work was fantastic. Both Holly and the working crew checked in with us nearly daily to be sure we were happy with the work as it was progressing. It was obvious they wanted us to feel great about this job. In the end - we loved the work. It looks great and is a huge improvement over what we have. More than anything, we were super impresssd with the team and would heartily endorse their work and them. Great team.

Holly, Manuel and the crew were very professional, methodical and detail oriented. They provided great communication during planning, execution and post project work. We were given detailed information on the options of material and their recommendation for our need. The crew worked hard despite challenging weather of rain and snow. We had some scope changes and yet they're able to take them in stride, did the additional work with the same level of professionalism and completed the project on time. The retaining wall and fence border property lines and our neighbors were also impressed with the quality of their work. We highly recommend them.

NGL Pavingstone and Retaining Wall was not the lowest bid, but their staff was by far the most professional, responsive, honest, and competent. NGL even emailed us links to supplier websites so we could choose the stone and color for our new wall. Alexander even brought stone samples with him when we signed the contract. We arrived home after a short vacation to find the job completed perfectly. Alexander and his Holly were in close contact and even offered to stop by to review the work in person (since we were gone when the work was completed). The workmanship is outstanding. They worked with us to create a beautiful patio. They came up with a way to remove a step between the two old patios, so we have one level patio. In addition they curved the sides giving the patio a flow instead of a blunt shape. They even ran our downspout under the patio to a drain hole, making the corner much nicer. They ran the border around the crawl space access and vent openings. The two steps they built add to the beauty of their effort.. The crew was very responsive, plus they gave us ideas (all were accepted) based on their experience. They also cleaned up every night so that we could use our driveway. We will use them again and will highly recommend them to all who need such work. We are so proud of their effort that we told them they could post pictures to their website.

NGL came out on time to inspect the site and prepare an estimate for a small block wall project. They sent me the estimate which I accepted and they were able to start the project within a few days. Manuel and his crew constructed the wall with materials I selected and he verified with me prior to starting the job. The job was completed ahead of schedule and looks great and their clean up was excellent. Holly, Manuel and the crew were extremely professional throughout the entire process. I would hire them again.

All the work was beautifully done, the stairs are especially nice. They were prompt and the communication was good, as we discussed every aspect of the project and they brought out samples to view and choose. I would recommend this company to anyone. I will also be having them come out again for a 2nd phase of the project.

The company did an excellent job from beginning to end. Holly, their representative, came out to get measurements and walk my wife and I through their process. We got their bid a few days later, which was substantially better than the other bids we received. Then, they brought block and paver samples to our house so we can see which ones we liked best for our new retaining wall. Holly kept in constant contact throughout the job making sure that everything was satisfactory. Manuel and his brothers started working on the 8th. By the end of the day they had tore down and cleared out most of the old retaining wall. The crew had the first wall complete by the 11th and were preparing the ground work for the second wall. By the 16th, they had finished the job, about 1 week faster than they quoted! The site clean up was done with the same care as if it were their own backyard. Then Holly and Manuel set up a final walk-through to ensure that we were 100% satisfied. Manuel was amazing and responsive to our questions throughout the process. He took special care to address our concerns about the trees that would be near one of the retaining walls. He walked us through how they were doing the walls and stairs. He made sure we were happy with everything and would work with us on any changes we requested. Overall this crew is amazing and the customer service was top notch. We will definitely be using them again!

All in all very well. Great bid, very responsive. Hardworking crew. We asked them to do the kind of work they don't always do - I think they're more used to pavers instead of natural stone, but they did a good job and we're happy with the results. It's not PERFECT, but their bid was great and they were a pleasure to work with. So close to giving them an overall A, but just a little shy of that.

Excellent. Better than we imagined it would be

Extremely well. Manuel and his crew were punctual and professional. They prepared the path carefully, with gravel, sand and concrete. We appreciated that Manuel showed us different options for laying the pavers in a curve, even to the point of cutting the pavers two different ways so we could choose what we liked. As he said, He wants his customers to be happy! We are. The walkway looks beautiful and very well made.
