Everyone was professional and efficient - from sales to installment to follow up. I was thoroughly impressed! Due to scheduling, it took a few weeks to start work, so David, in sales, came by and put a tarp up to prevent more water from coming in from our leaking roof. That was a godsend since a few intense storms followed! Once the install crew arrived, they were careful to protect my landscaping and hardscaping, polite, and fast - they finished in half the quoted time! Afterwards, Zoe in their front office called me to check that everything went well and had someone come the next day to fix an excessive drip caused by an overhanging shingle. Love that customer service! Only negative feedback would be around their pricing levels that up the warranty protection. I figure the quality of their workmanship should be the same regardless of whether is paying them more or less and the materials are the same.

Comments involve the representative of the Metroroot Company, Casey Howard, and the construction crew of Sound Roofing both companies at the same address: 184458 8th Ave S, Sea-Tac, WA 98148. Casey did the inspection and drafted the proposed work to re-tile our ~85-year-old clay tile roof. He was especially careful to address specific weaknesses in the existing tile roof. A crew of 4 to 8 workers did the actual job. They worked hard and they did an excellent job. This is not an easy task as you keep as many of the original tiles as possible (not like a shingle or shake roof). The site was kept clean and they work progressed rapidly, but carefully. The result was excellent.

I had Metropolitan do my house roof a year ago and thought they did such a great job, I decided to have them add a metal roof to my outbuilding/shop. My main reason for the metal was due to fallen needles and branches not easily sliding off the asphalt shingles. I was not disappointed in this companies' performance. They came in a little less expensive than other quotes, which pleased me. They removed the old asphalt shingles, cleaned up at end of every day, and was on the job from start to finish. Communication was very good from front office to the workers. Metropolitan utilizes a customer portal which explains scheduling and cost status during the job. I was very impressed with this type of communication. There was also plenty of phone calls and e-mails to maintain timely project status of issues and questions. Char, Jasmine, Zoe, & Richard were continuously on top of things and great to work with. I am very, very, very pleased with this companies' job and how the roof looks now.

The work was performed with expertise, as far as I can determine, and we are very pleased. Your technician was professional and friendly. He could not have been a better representative for your company. We were also very satisfied with the logistics of arranging for the work. Your staff are a pleasure to deal with. This is the second significant project for us by Metropolitan (and your predecessor in name, Sound Roofing - roof replacement in July/August 2018). Rich scheduled a visit quickly and brought samples to view. The quote he provided was exactly what I paid. I was able to get on their schedule sooner than I had planned, and they graciously accommodated my timeline. Communications was clear and immediate. The driveway was cleared daily so I was able to park my car in the garage every night. The roof vents were updated to a much cleaner look and the entire project took three days. They did not make me feel uncomfortable when it took me a couple days to schedule time to meet for a final walk through and pay the invoice. I was treated with respect and I really appreciated that.

We are 100% happy with the job that Metro roofing did on our outbuilding/ garage. Their cost was lower than two other bids, with a larger scope of work (Metro also did gutters and added vents, AND fixed some slipping shingles on our main house at no extra charge). Their cost was a little higher than the "one guy with a truck" from the neighborhood, and that guy wanted me to use my truck to get plywood... we went with the pros and are happy about that. Metro's crew was fantastic... Jose, Mauricio and all did the job in a day, communicated well and thoroughly, problem-solved a couple things mid-job (at no extra cost), and cleaned up everything to the last bit. I think they stayed late to avoid coming back too. Once the roof was on, Mike came and did the gutters, integrating our rain barrel and making everything work well, which we know because it rained today. The quality of the work will tell over time, but at first inspection everything looks great. The roofers cleared FOUR layers of old roof (the estimate said two, but we didn't get charged extra) and probably added another 10 years easy to the whole garage (the roof will outlast the rest of the structure). New fascia and gutters make the thing look really nice. Once we paint it next week, it'll be a major upgrade to our property. Administrative staff were also excellent... we'd contract with Sound Metro Roofing again.

Workers were friendly, considerate and worked continuously while they were here.

Metropolitan Roofing did our roof last Oct./Nov., and I can't say enough good things about this company, starting with the owner, Clint. We got several bids, and went with Metropolitan, as they did our neighbor's roof several years ago and they recommended them; but it was Clint's upfront integrity, knowledge of the product, and clear guidance in the whole process that sold us. These qualities have obviously been instilled in his crew, and his office staff; their response to our questions/concerns throughout this whole process was handled right away, either by them, or by Clint himself. We also had two skylights replaced by them when the roof was done, and they did a brilliant job; they also specialize in skylights, and again, Clint was quite knowledgeable in both the products and the process of installing them, as was his crew. In spite of the rainy periods, our roof was done in a timely fashion, and without any glitches! We are thrilled with our new roof, and I would very highly recommend Metropolitan Roofing!

I was very pleased with the new roof Metropolitan Roofing provided on my 22 year old home. I needed a new roof and preferred an all-steel roof, but the pricing came in a bit high for me. I looked at 4 other companies and Metropolitan was not the most expensive. Working with Rich H, he came up with an upper floor composite shingles and lower floor above garage and porch as metal. It came out great! Also, he suggested a new solar powered skylite, seeing as the current one is over 22 years old and could give problems in the near future. I am quite pleased with this option because the old skylite was fixed and the new one is switch controlled to open with an automatic closure if rain falls on the glass. No wiring required, it is all wireless with the motor battery controlled and charged by solar. The roofers were very good at their work and cleaned up every day making sure there were no nails in the driveway by using a magnetic pick-up. They worked hard the entire time on site and very pleasant to talk with. And finally, Metro Roof contracted All Star Gutters & Son to replace all 5" gutters with 6" screened. Mike the gutter guy did a fast, professional, quality job and thoroughly picked and cleaned up upon completion every day. May not be the cheapest, but you get professional, good quality materials, and thoroughness of job with Metropolitan Roofing.

We are very pleased with Metropolitan Roofing and our experience with them. They were very communicative and were very accommodating with scheduling the project. They came in as one of the lowest quotes we received, while still maintaining top of the industry products and workmanship. Additionally, they provide a warranty on the materials as well as their work. Metropolitan coordinated the completion of replacing our roof, skylights, and gutters and now everything looks great. They were recommended to us by a friend, and now we would gladly recommend them to anyone else in the future based on our experience.

My experience with them was excellent. It was a good value, on time and professional. They were very straightforward. The estimate provided to me by Jasmine and Craig had a comprehensive breakdown of materials and their cost as well as labor. The price was one of the best I had seen without compromise, having engaged 4 other companies for estimates. Their pitch seemed both comprehensive and fair to me compared to others. Our roof is a combined 3000sqft 10/12 pitch with three shed style dormers and a detached garage. We also replaced 1 skylight and expanded another to 4x4 size. The flashings were all custom made at their facility by the same crew installing the roof. The job was completed in two weeks and all done without subcontracting. They did send a different team for the interior skylight opening enlargement. When an issue came up with the roof, it was promptly addressed. In the end, they went above and beyond to resolve the issue. I called a month later to get touch-up paint and they still remember me and Craig hand delivered the paint completely free of charge.

We got three estimates to replace our aging roof and fortunately, Metropolitan Roofing was one of them. They did a good job explaining everything and were able to start pretty quickly. We have a lot of landscaping, and I was pleased with what a good job they did covering the shrubs so nothing would get damaged. They cleaned up after themselves and were easy to work with. We had Jose Garcia and his helper, and they did an outstanding job!

Had a metal roof installed and 2 skylights replaced. We didn't give them much lead-time and needed the work to be done by a certain date. Once Cint committed to the job, everything was done professionally and before the due date. I though we might have to cosmetically cover an area around the new skylight but Jesus finished it off very attractively. When the work was done, all we had to do was admire our new roof and skylights. We are thankful for the work done and would highly recommend Metropolitan Roofing.

Emergency roof repair that was expedited and quickly dealt with. From the quote to finishing the job, Rich and Anthony made the process smooth and easy for me the home owner. - Lesson learned is to hire quality people who know what and why they are doing what they are doing.

They did a very good job, the crew arrived on time and cleaned up everyday. I have a lot of landscaping around the house with mature trees and plants making the job a bit more challenging. There was minimal damage to any of my landscape so I was thrilled about that.

Clint provided an estimate and stick to the about quoted on the estimate. Fast and reliable work.
