although there was some miscommunication at the beginning, the company was accommodating. the men that came out were punctual and did a really good job. They stayed until the job was finished to everyones satisfaction. I have recommended this company to several coworkers.

Voids were filled, interior wall was cracked, guys doing the work pretty much ran out of here without showing it to me. I discovered it immediately after they left and called about it. They sent out an engineer to make sure there wasn't any structural damage. Disappointed because after reading the contract, it does mention that this was possible, but when I called our sales guy, he said that we didn't need to worry about that, because we were just filling voids and not doing any lifting. Definite communication issues within the company. We paid full price, I'm not sure I would re-use them.

The crew was led by Eugene during the first 3 days of digging process and quality controlled/site managed by Steve on the last 2 days for the foundation adjusting. I can't talk highly enough about Steve's professionalism/punctuality/responsiveness and Eugene's pleasant manner and upbeat personality. The entire crew were very hard-working and sweet. Like any big projects, there were definitely low moments during the process, (A worker accidentally ran the truck into my gutter, but they immediately promised to pay for the damage- no blaming game or trying to wiggle out of the problem-- Steve got real shoulders!) Also during the final lifting day, Steve explained really clearly to me what they were doing and helped me understand the whole process. This is the one crew I will happily work with again. Olga also told me the company's work comes with 75 yr transferable guarantee so I am not worried about quality at all. I know if anything goes wrong, I am covered. It went very well. The crew showed up on time, performed the work in a timely fashion, and cleaned up after themselves such that you could hardly tell they were there. Pleased with the experience.

The work was great. While beginning the work on the addition to the foundation that was added to the garage was being done, they discovered the issue with the original garage foundation and the engineer came up a cost effective solution that didn't add any additional cost. The work was done in 3 days which was 1-2 days sooner than estimated. The workers were polite and efficient. They arrived on time each day, staid focused on the job to be done and cleaned up each day before they left.

Terrible customer service and project management. They took over 6 months to get a 3-4 day job accomplished. They consistently did not provide sufficient job site supervision, resulting in multiple re-visits due to my complaints the work scope and detail were not done per the contract. They did not send a qualified person to scope the work the first time, requiring a re-write of the contract several months into the job, at a higher cost. Did not show up on the day work was scheduled with no explanation. Sent me a 'final' bill when the work was not completed. The supervisor assigned to my job never checked the quality or timeliness of work. If I would not have constantly complained, the work would not have been completed.

Initially Matvey's estimator arrived promptly, answered all my questions and provided a written quote. Although my subsequent start appointment was initially delayed by weather (snow), Matvey quickly rescheduled for another convenient time. The crew actually arrived early and the process took about 2 1/2 hrs. There's definitely an art to this process, and I observed the whole thing; the crew gladly answered all my questions while they worked; performed the work as expected; cleaned up everything when they left and respected our property overall.

Job went well, and was on time (shorter than expected, even). They even were able to lift and level a section of concrete that was significantly cracked due to settling. It isn't perfect, but is a lot better than I was expecting to be possible. Instead of mudjacking, their Polylevel product was used. Some of the product leaked through cracks (as expected) but the contractor did an excellent job of cleaning it up (and sealing all of the holes they drilled to inject it).

I contacted Matvey after getting the run around from around foundation repair company for over three months. Matvey was very quick to respond and Steve had an estimate and the work was schedule within a few weeks. The workers showed up on time and did an amazing job that lasted three days. When they were finished they left the area in better condition than they found it. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them any time.

I am not in a position to suggest how others might find Matvey's competence. I only know what happened when I worked with them. I needed to stabilize my foundation near the porch. They recommended push piers. As the City of Seattle requires a permit, after some incredible delay, they submitted a permit request. The City found the submittals to be insufficient and required a structural engineer to complete the work. Matvey management admitted that they couldn't complete the permit requirements and after 6 months returned all of my money. Some staff did suggest a couple of times that they would be willing to do the work without a permit. Ok for them, not ok for me. Matvey staff routinely did not return phone calls and failed to meet commitments. I have since worked with another firm; learned what the City requires and clearly Matvey at the time was not set up to complete the necessary permit work. Other cities may not have the same permit requirements. So, as the push pier work was never done, I cannot say how they do that work but I understand from others, their push pier construction work goes well. It is just that they are not set up to get a City of Seattle permit.

It was fine. He gave me some feedback that made me think I had hired the wrong profession for what I was looking for. I got some piece of mind about my foundation and its condition and that was worth the money.

He has a very pleasant personality. He gave good advice and had a lot of knowledge.

We did not hire Matvey and based on our experience with them would never hire them to do work on our house. They were extremely unprofessional and inconsistent during the bidding process and were basically a waste of time to deal with. We originally got a quote from Matvey for a number of related projects but frankly felt the quote was much more based on what they wanted to sell (specific products and services) than what was actually appropriate for the project. This was based on assessments from multiple other contractors who passed on the project due to scheduling, scope, and other practical issues. Not being able to find another contractor interested in the job we got back in touch with Matvey to do what seemed the most appropriate parts of the work, but they said since so much time had elapsed they would need to meet at the site again to reassess the project. I arranged to be home from work to meet them, only to get an email (not even a phone call) at 10pm the night before from Matvey asking to reschedule the meeting. When I told them that was not possible they found another person to come, who within 10 minutes of arriving told us they couldn't do any of the project because they had changed the scope of the work they do as a company. This was despite having a full quote that they had prepared covering all the work and me having provided a detailed description of what portion of that work I was interested in having them do. The representative did offer to see if they knew of any other contractors who might be able to help and promised to get back to me in the next few days either with recommendations or just to let me know what he could or couldn't find. Needless to say I never heard from that person again. So trying to work with them was a colossal waste of time but to top things off about 2 months after that last meeting (when they told me they had completely changed the scope of work their company did) I get a large packet of materials from Matvey in the mail, inviting me to sign the contract they originally prepared for all the work and even offering me a discount if I "Act Now!". This echoed the constant stream of "special offer" and "limited time discount" offers I got when I originally spoke to them (but which apparently disappeared when I actually asked them to do the work and they said they wouldn't do it at all). So in summary Matvey is a great company if you want to get a time wasting, high-pressure sales pitch for a lot of work your house may or may not need, and which they may or may not be willing to do. I can only imagine what they would be like trying to deal with during a project or god forbid trying to get any sort of follow-up on work they did. The only bright side of this is it prompted me to do another round of contractor inquiries and we ended up finding people to get the work done by breaking it into smaller, more focused projects. While it was a little more work I am extremely glad I was able to find an alternative to Matvey.

punctual, professional, great to work with went above and beyond to make sure I was happy

The company sent out a bid and were very easy to talk to. Scheduled the job right away and completed the work on time. My tenant was occupying an office during the work, and had no complaints. I reviewed the work after completion and was extremely satisfied.

Matvey drilled holes in my porch and my walkway and injected a polylevel material into it which raised the level of it. Initially the leveling wasn't level with the sidewalk which is a tripping hazard but when I called the office to let them know they sent the crew back out A.S.A.P. to get it right. Matvey made sure I was happy with the results. And, Yes, I will recommend them to a friend.

I called matvey construction got an estimate three smart jacks guy comes out and looks around the house what areas leveled the other ones not floor was sagging so the total for three smart jack was $3,442.00 when the workers got here they decided to go down there and look at everything and found out they had to go to Home Depot to get a jack lift next thing you know I got a phone call saying that you have a rotten beam it will cost $520. Then I found out they were going to put all the three Jacks and one area where the beams are. Is the floor leveled and then they have an area where they did not fix the problem they want me to pay to more smart jacks which costs under $711.00 it's finally fixed the office people do not know what they're talking about when you try to talk to him about fixing the problem one person said something to a person's the other. The working crew are very nice people come in the office to have a clue what you're talking about

They were great! It took them over 7 hours, but they were determined to get it done for us. We will be having them out again to check our foundation and would not hesitate to use them again if we need additional work.

Matvey did an excellent job from beginning to end. They worked with me to develop an affordable solution to my concrete wall issues and completed the work on time and as promised. They stuck to their scheduled appointment to conduct an assessment and provide a quote and their workmen worked hard to complete the job to quality standards and on time. I have had a lot of contractors working over the past year on the home we recently purchased and Matvey is one of only two of about six contractors that I will ever deal with again. They are honest, work quickly and provide quality products and work to ensure best value for the money. I am considering another project and will definitely give them the first opportunity to bid it. We were very pleased with the experience of working with Matvey. Steve their sales guy, Roman the installer and Rose in the office were great to with. After the job was completed, we noticed water continued to pool in a small section of the driveway. Matvey sent another tech out and he used a concrete saw to cut a small channel in the driveway to drain the water. Problem solved! I have recommended Matvey to friends who need some work done on the pathway to their front door.
