Chapin Painting

We cannot say enough good words and give enough praise to Bruce Chapin and his Chapin Painting team...Brian, Miquel, and Daniel. They recently completed painting the cabinets of our kitchen, powder room, and laundry room as well as the walls of our family room, formal living and dining room, powder room, laundry room, stairwell and 2nd floor landing. They were on time every single day; kept their word about what was planned; cleaned up daily...always going the extra mile. Our home has been transformed by them into a brand new look. They are efficient, careful with their prep, painting, and clean-up and take great pains to complete an A+ result. We couldn't be happier!!

Bruce and his crew, especially his lead Brian, go above and beyond. Not only are they punctual, provide realistic and reasonable estimates, but they added little items here and there that added to the beauty and function of the finished project. They hung chandeliers when the scaffolding was up. They hired in expert wall board repair. They added shelves to improve a pantry. All paint edges were sharp and their clean up was meticulous every day. The communication was prompt, clear, and responsive. The finished interior residential painting project is beautiful and they were a joy to work with! They are the only painters I use. I will use them again in the spring to paint the exterior. I've used Chapin painting for 25 years and they are the best!

Very proffessional but also friendly and approachable. Their work was impeccable and the painters were as inconspicuous and quiet as possible while in our home. They were very helpful in accomodating out needs as far as staging the project. Always punctual and finished the job on time! We would highly recommend this company!

I would highly recommend Chapin Painting. The owner, Bruce Chapin, gave me a complete estimate for all of the work to be completed prior to starting the work. His prices were fair and honest. Once we decided to have Chapin Painting perform the work, Bruce came back to the house to discuss paint colors and finalize the painting plans. The day painting was to begin his crew showed up on time. They were professional, friendly, and careful to cover all areas prior to painting. We felt comfortable leaving the house while they were working. The painting crew was very responsible and trustworthy. Our overall experience was exceptional and we will definitely use Chapin Painting again in the future.

Excellent. Bruce's team is tidy and punctual. They are great communicators and excellent at cleaning up after themselves. Very conscientious workers. The team is also great with kids and pets (we have three cats: one nosy and one terrified).

As usual, Bruce and his team did an outstanding job. Bruce provides a written quote for labor and materials prior to the painting day. The Chapin team always arrives on time and immediately gets to work protecting the hardwood floors, carpeting and furniture. The prep work before the painting is impressive. The guys are professional, meticulous, hard working and super friendly with our golden retriever. At the completion of the job, they clean up and will move furniture back in place. I suppose I could shop around in hopes of finding a better price, but I'd worry about compromising on the quality of the finished job. Chapin Painting provides exceptional results.

Bruce was awesome! Quickly responded to my inquiry, came on time, was so kind to speak with, gave us a quote but we weren't ready to move forward with the simple job at this time. Will DEFINATELY reach out again when we have a bigger job for the money that his team could tackle.

Free estimate on cost of job was professional and all my questions were answered. I was very impressed and felt comfortable hiring Chapin Painting. After receiving cost estimate, job was scheduled for about 2 wks out. Crew arrived promptly and all were introduced to me. We had already moved most furniture out of room but painters were extremely careful around remaining large piece. They took great care draping ceiling light fixture, furniture and all flooring. I'm extremely happy with the painting Chapin did, and would definitely hire them again. At the end of the day they cleaned up so that you could barely tell anyone had been working [except for a fabulous newly painted space!]. Excellent job.

Bruce and his crew did a great job! They arrived on time or even a few minutes early. They are thorough and clean up after themselves very well. The house looked fresh and clean after the paint job, which is what I wanted for marketing our home. The estimate was for 2 to 2 1/2 days and to paint all the common areas upstairs and downstairs. They started our job one day late (after politely asking our permission to do so) and were still done in the two days. They did super job protecting furniture and taping up trim etc. I would hire again!

They did a great job! Were very accommodating by giving us access to things overnight. We had a broken accent light they must have assumed they broke....it was fixed when they were done.

Wonderful! I needed a last minute paint job before listing my house. They were friendly and accommodating, making time that same week (during s relatively busy time of year) to fit me in. They showed up right on time and were very efficient and friendly. Would recommend and use again!

I hired Bruce and his team to get my house ready for a real estate sale. I was new to working with a contractor in general and was lucky to find Bruce on Angie's List. He was responsive, knowledgeable, patient and simply was just a very nice person to do business with. His team were true professionals, highly skilled, respectful, efficient and with an excellent taste in music as well (it does matter if you are going to be around the house like me :). Last but not least, they also made sure the place was cleaned at the end of each work day! They made my house look great and the only thing I regretted was not getting my house painted when I first moved in. I cannot evaluate his pricing because it was my first time hiring painters and I tend to hire for quality over price. Bruce did mention that his pricing was somewhere in the middle. Another great quality is his transparency in the process.

It went very well. Bruce, the owner was very thorough and detailed and checked in with me every day as well as with his crew of 4 to update me on progress and to clarify what would be the plan for that day and the next. His crew was friendly and courteous and very considerate of me since I was home for much of the time they were working. They did quality work and cleaned up after themselves as well as being very prompt on their starting time each day.

Bruce and his team did an excellent job. The walls were pretty beat up and had decorative circles painted on them. The patched everything and the walls now look completely new. The team was on time, professional, and polite. They were just slightly higher then another bid we had received but were well worth it for the quality they provided. I would definitely hire them again.

We've used Bruce and Chapin Painting for three houses now. He introduces his team (handshakes all around!), gives them directions, does some of the work, and checks in on the team between errands. Very clean workspace, very neat stack of tools in our garage overnight. Bruce and his team are aware of our three cats and ensure they don't follow the men outside. When our son was younger, Bruce and his team were very friendly and patient with his interest in every single step of their process. And, the team listens to great music while they work!

It went Brilliantly!! Everyone was so professional, friendly, funny and on time. The work was supurbly done, and they cleaned up after themselves to perfection. They taped off and covered everything. They moved all the furnature and replaced it where I wanted it. Including moving a piano across the house. I am now going to paint the exterior of my home and Chapin was the only choice there was!
