John at the Sammamish Ace Hardware came recommended by another window - and screen-repair vendor that didn't do small jobs. I contacted John, informed him of the work I needed, and he explained what he needed and gave me very clear instructions on how to measure the window for the proper fit. I called him back the following day and he provided an estimate based on the size that proved to be exact. He said the work would take him four days, and true to his word, I got a call on the fourth day informing me that the new screen was ready. You can pay only by cash or check as it is not a service offered by the Ace itself, but rather is contracted to John through Ace. According to the employee who handed me the screen from the back, John handles the necessary taxes himself. I brought the screen home and after getting it properly oriented, it fit into the window frame perfectly. I could not be happier with the service or the results.
