Omg. The fence is so beautiful. Brock had such good ideas. The quality was exceptional. Three gates . Black hog wire in beautiful wood. It turned out above my expectations. If I could have rated 10 on everything I would have. I was so lucky to find dogwood construction. He is replacing my shower. Iâ m excited about that Lucky

I will absolutely hire Dogwood Home Improvements again. The customer service is top notch and the results are amazing.

TLDR: All in all great value, quality, and flexibility. Overall I would absolutely hire Dogwood again. I would only be a little more careful to think of and express important specifications rather than leave anything assumed/unwritten. Dogwood was the only one who walked most of the job and considered challenges for the job before giving the quote. Most other contractors wanted a flat daily rate and made an arbitrary promise to get X done per day. Dogwood instead looked at it and considered the variables, told me what site prep to do, and worked diligently to execute the job. As with any contractor, I recommend putting any discussion and decision into writing. Several agreed topics/decisions and specifications were either forgotten or not followed. Miscommunications and last minute "boots on the ground" adjustments happen. Keeping things clear and written down (even on a post it for an adjustment the crew needs to remember) will help everyone.

Brock is a great worker, who takes pride in the quality of his work, and tries to stay on schedule as much as possible. I would highly recommend his company. We are very pleased!

We worked directly with Brock, the owner and his staff. They maintained great communication, arrived when promised, and did an excellent job finishing a stamped concrete patio project after another contractor had "ghosted" us. They charged a fair rate and went the extra mile to make we were happy with the finished job. I highly recommend them.

Had Brock install two exterior doors. Installed them in a timely manner but quality of work was less than par. The front door didn?t have adequate caulking on the brick molding on the corners so I had to go back through and throw some on there. He missed putting on the decretive lock piece on the door jamb that the dead bolt goes in. Just forgot to take it off of the old jamb. He had to go back into town because the front door did not come with a new jamb so that was an added expense. The back door the brick molding was cracked before installing and didn?t care to replace it or do quality control. The front door doesn?t close the same as the back door. Much harder to close. I messaged Brock to come back and fix the broken molding on the rear door and the piece on the front door. It?s been a month since the install of the doors. He has said he?ll get out to fix it and now that I have tried to reach back out since it?s been a month i have sent two messages through Angie with no response and one phone call that went straight to voicemail. Before the project was done there were multiple re scheduled appointments to quote the job and multiple re schedulings to do the job. Iam all for supporting small businesses and general contractors but this was not a great experience.

Brock was exceptional not only in quality of his work but his demeanor. (And he took his shoes off!ð   ) A very good attitude with a heart to excel. We have been general contractors for years. Speaks volumes to say we will hire him again!

Brock was very dependable and worked with us on a small project, painting and caulking exterior of our two story house. He also offered to fix our cobbled together bird screens on our vents and they look great. I appreciate the communication with a contractor, it doesn't always happen and it did with Brock.
