The Great Wide Open

I live in, and was primary owner / builder on a remodel addition to an old 1970’s A-frame on Henry Island near Roche Harbor. Brian was on time, focused eager to work and stay late if needed. He brought a huge amount to the table on this very tricky custom build. He did an awsome job in all respects. And was a pleasure to work with. He listened to what my vision was, offered suggestions for design, and was critical in executing the project. I trust Brian to get the job done right no matter how “custom” or complicated a design or location.

Brian did a meticulous job of pulling down and replacing our deck, using stronger and better materials. We’ve had many positive comments from friends and relatives about the quality, looks, strength, and rigidity of the new deck. Brian is flexible and easy to work with. We started with a simple design and he was able to transfer that design to reality quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend him and would use his services again anytime.

Bryan has been caretaker of our property for several years and has undertaken or overseen several home improvement projects plus a building demolition and rebuild. He has always been attentive to our needs and accommodating to our schedule. He’s very trustworthy, a good communicator and a resourceful problem solver.

Open spaces replaced my fathers' deck on the Straits side of Henry Island. My fathers wife had chosen the replacement materials and patterns. She is an exacting employer with finance as well as procedures and she could find no fault with Open Spaces. Years later, I now own the house with my niece and nephew. Remembering Open Spaces I called and they were generous to meet me on Henry Island without a confirmed job for consult. The house, though well built, was suffering from lack of maintenance. I am the opposite of my fathers wife; I have neither her resources nor her laser-like focus. I had a list of concerns and a limited income. Open Spaces helped me with priority and budget. I was off island for their jobs. They sent photos of progress and roadblocks, choices that I would have to make. The security and quality of my experience was great. They manage all aspects of our vacation home and property. Over the past 3yrs they’ve performed several small to large projects, cleaning and restraining home, repairs, water system upgrades, construction, french drains and small tasks to prepare the property for summer arrival.
