Mike refinished a tub in a house I am selling. He helped me coordinate the tub refinishing with the installation of a tub surround. Mike was flexible when I had to change the refinish date, and he arrived on time. He fully protected the other areas of the bathroom. The refinished tub looks brand new. When a spider walked on the tub before it dried, Mike came back out to buff out the spider marks at no extra cost.

We have a very old rental home - over 100 years old with original clawfoot tub and original kitchen sink. Both were chipping badly. Mike gave me an estimate on the phone and was professional to work with. He did a great job. The bath tub and sink look fantastic.

Mike is a highly professional and friendly person! He showed up right as scheduled and the project took as long as her said it would. While in my home he took extraordinary care to cover the floors where he walked in and out, prepping the bathroom walls, removing faucets and fixtures, and running an exhaust line out a bedroom window. After a thorough cleaning, he went to work repairing a couple of large dings and suggested we add (at no additional cost) a non-slip surface to the floor of the tub not only for safety, but to help camouflage some pretty bad dings that would be a challenge to fully repair. When he was finished we were left with an amazingly beautiful 40 year old tub/shower that was as good as new again. I like that Mike's method only took 4 hours, versus a 2-day process many of his competitors use, and the odor was minimal for the following 2-3 days. I expected it to smell so strongly that we were prepared to spend the night at a hotel, but (happily!) that wasn't the case. We couldn't be more pleased!

He showed up on the dot, and did exactly what he said he would. Total pro. Used canvas tarps on the floor from the door to the bathroom, curtained and masked the whole bathroom, ventilated, stripped the peeling DIY job, and then refinished the tub. Worked fast, finished on time. Was really quick in getting back to me to answer a question afterward, and after hours, which was nice. Tub looks awesome--shiny and bright. Warrantied. Let me know my overflow pipe was missing a gasket. I saved a ton of money and kept a nice old tub.

It was an excellent job from the onset! Mike was very professional and organized. He explained his process throughout the procedure and took very effective measures that the smell did not fill the house. Mike offered a bath at finish on the bottom of the tub at no extra charge. It blends in so well that you cannot see it, but offers a nice nonslip surface. Mike's Clem up was great and he offered tips on how to maintain the finish.

Excellent! The service people that came out were great. The work turned out well. I wasn't there but my contractor didn't complain about their punctuality. I think they were professional.

They use epoxy, which is more durable than the other products, and therefore comes with a 10-year transferable warranty. The downsides are that it takes longer to cure (a couple of days), it stinks horribly during that time, and it costs a little more. The upside--having to do it once in 10 years instead of 5--more than justifies these problems. All work was done professionally. The tub now looks like new. We'd do it again.

It was easy. I had a different company give me an estimate and they said I would have to redo the entire tub and gave me an outrageous quote. I appreciate the honesty that I received from this company, that it only needed a minor repair at a reasonable price.

Mike refinished our 70 year old tub a year ago and it turned out great! We just noticed a small ding on the tub's exterior right above the floor and called Mike. He said it was best to get right on these small problems before they get worse and he came right out to touch it up. Quick, no mess, and no cost. I would highly recommend his service

I just called the number listed on here and the mail catalog, pg A8 twice for a quote. The person on the other end did not answer "Premier Glaze" or any type of professional response, he just answered "Hello." I asked if it was "Premier Glaze" and he said "yes, can you take me off your list?" Which is exactly what I did. Will not use him for anything and I recommend that if you call to ask for a quote, be prepared for an unprofessional response. Here's a business tip, hire someone professional to answer your phone because you are not helping yourself out at all.

Mike did a great job. My tub looks great. It' was a pleasure doing business with such a nice guy. The only thing I would recommend is that he let you know ahead of time that there is a charge to pay with a credit card. I complained a little and Mike waived the fee for me. Thanks Mike!

I purchased this Angie Deal to reglaze tub in house I bought recently. Scheduling work was delayed (my fault) , but we finally found a time to complete. He showed up on-time - early even. The prep work was done thoroughly and with as little disruption to the rest of the house as possible. The care required was explained well and paperwork was left detailing care and warranty. The tub looked so good that the old hardware then looked shabby and called out to be replaced.

I called Mike to get an estimate. With a quick description of our shower he knew exactly what we had and its size. He gave me a quote and also gave me a discount for Angie's List. He was able to fit me on his schedule the following week. Mike showed up and went to work. He covered all floors leading from the front door to the shower. He installed a ventilation system to exhaust dust and fumes. He sanded and cleaned the shower and then sprayed a new finish on it. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and cleanliness. When it was finished, I am very impressed. It looked better than new. So far everything is good and no issues at this time. Very happy. Thanks Mike.

Mike was extremely professional and extremely detail oriented! His prep work was amazing! He carefully masked off all the areas in the bathroom which were not being glazed, laid down floor coverings up the stairs and down the hallway to the bathroom, and set up an air vent so the odor was not over bearing to us. We had never had a tub/shower reglazed before and were a bit skeptical, but our tub and shower looks beautiful and brand new! We would definitely use Premier Glaze Bathtub Refinishing again... and have actually already referred Mike to friends of ours that couldn't believe it wasn't a brand new tub!! Our job was a little tricky because we had an old tiled area and an inlaid soap holder above the tub that our contractor recommended refinishing with Premier Glaze instead of re-tiling. But there are so many surfaces and crevices to the tile, it makes it harder to apply this product well. Our contractor cleaned and re-grouted the tiling before Mike came. Mike was very professional and did a fine job applying the product. The smell was very unpleasant and did not dissipate as quickly as Mike said it would. It took a few days to clear. We did have to call him to come back shortly afterwards to touch up a few small missed areas. He did this at no charge and he also came a 2nd time when we called because there were a couple more problem areas developing. Those areas turned out to be more of a problem with the caulking but he touched them up anyway. All in all, we are happy with the product now as it is 6 months later and holding well. B for quality only because while it looks nice now, it seems fragile. We have to be careful not to leave the tub wet or use stainless steel or suction-cupped items in the tub area. The bottom of the tub is very smooth and slippery. It has been relatively easy to clean despite not being able to used abrasive cleaning agents on it. Mike was very responsive. He answers his phone! We would recommend him.

Very professional, always called back right away and explained the process well. Price quoted was the price payed with no hidden charges or extras. Was only about ten minutes late for our appointment but called ahead of time to let me know he was stuck in traffic getting through Portland (and it was the day before Thanksgiving) and might be a little late. Did a through job taping and covering the bathroom and but down drop cloths in the hallway. Project took him around 4 hours and he was very respectful the entire time. We had to wait a full day to peel off the tape and paper and then had to put the bathtub fixtures back on (handle and spout). Turned out lovely and looks brand new! It's been a month now and we've had no issues.

It went very well. We were very pleased with it. They were pleasant to work with and they explained everything to us well. He was very prompt in the time he said he was going to show up and even let us know that he was stuck in traffic.
