Description of Work: We were heading out of town for a week when we discovered a leak in our sprinkler line. We called and were promised that someone would show up between 1 and 3. They actually showed up at 12 and had the valve dug up before coming to the door. They had it fixed, cleaned up the mess and we were on the road by 1:30! We will definitely call them next spring to do more maintenance.

+ -1 moreJeff was highly responsive and professional. He was on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. He ordered parts and scheduled another visit right away. He was on time for the second visit and completed the repairs quickly. He didn't charge me until all repairs were completed.
Description of Work: The company repaired a sprinkler system that had an electrical glitch. They also hooked up and programmed a second set of sprinklers for me. The second set of sprinklers were put in years ago by another company, but never attached to the sprinkler system.

+ -1 moreWe couldn't be happier with the service Jeff provided! There was no guess work, he found the problems and fixed all of them in no time flat. He as professional, knowldegeable, fast and very pleasant to deal with. We would recommend him to everyone!
Description of Work: We bought a house that had no information on the sprinkler system,and half of the sprinkler heads didn't work. The automatic system didn't work. We had leaks around some of the sprinler heads. The drip system was totally kaput. Jeff Lancaster fixed all the problems and got everything up and running.

+ -1 moreI called Jim to come out and troubleshoot the leak that we experienced and he came within a few days and took care of the issue with a smile. He did not try to sell me more than was needed. I will definitely call Jim next time I have an issue with my sprinkler system.
Description of Work: We had a serious leak around our main sprinkler valve. Jim came in and diagnosed the problem, dug out the existing valve repaired it and put in a new surround in under an hour! Fantastic job.

Description of Work: WE HAD AN EXTENDED CONCRETE WALK PUT DOWN IN MARCH 2012. THE CONCRETE COMPANY CRACKED TWO DIFFERENT SPRINKLER PIPES ONE OF THEM HALF WAY UNDER THE WALK. WE DIDN'T REALIZE THIS UNTIL MAYWHEN THE SPRINKLERS WERE TURNED ON. JEFF REPAIRED THE 1ST ONE THE DAY WE CALLED HIM AND THEN CAME BACK AND WAS ABLE TO TAKE OUT SOME OF THE DIRT UNDER THE WALK AND REPAIR THE OTHER PIPE WITHOUT CRACKING THE CEMENT WALK. + -1 moreI have a leak in the yard between 2 sprinkler heads. Mr Sprinkler came out and did a number of tests to try and pinpoint the source of the leak. They determined that a hose bib was leaking and that it should be fixed first before digging up the yard to look for irrigation system leaks. They were very professional and did a great job in trying to determine the source of the problem. He suggested I get a plumber to fix the hose bib and see if that might help determine the cause of the leak farther out in the yard. I was only charged for a service call which I thought was very fair given the circumstances. If the leak in the yard persists after fixing the hose bib, I will use Mr Sprinkler for further work on the buried irrigation system.
Description of Work: Checked water meter and determined there was a leak in the system. Shut off water to house and probed in yard to determine source of leak. Checked hose bibs for leaks.

+ -1 moreThis was my first experience with testing of the back flow assembly device. I asked him to explain the test and process which he did very clearly. He was able to share a great deal of information and answer all of my questions without any hesitation. He even supplied additional information about winter weatherizing my sprinkler system. He was well versed in Washington State Law regarding sprinkler systems, and water contamination issues, often referring to the law and his reporting responsibilities as a licensed inspector. He stated real examples both regionally and locally of water contamination situations from back flow assembly failures. He submitted his report to the city and I did not have to complete additional notification. I was very pleased with his job performance and I will definitely call Mr. Sprinkler next year to complete this annual test.
Description of Work: Completed annual testing of back flow assembly device for residential lawn sprinkler system. I was notified by the city that I was required to complete and submit an annual test of the backflow system for my sprinkler system. I was supplied a list of approved testers and initially selected Mr. Sprinkler as he was a local businessman. Mr. Sprinkler took my phone inquiry and set an appointment promptly that met my time line in the first phone call. On the day of the appointment he arrived when agreed upon and immediately started completing the test. One of the back flow values failed, probably due to a bit of debris. He quickly cleaned the value and retested it, which then passed. There was no additional charge for the inspection, cleaning, or rusticating. However, he stated some companies will do this.

+ -1 moreI was overcharged for 1 1/2 hours of labor. This seems to be my experience with irrigation companies (this was my third company), so I watched the clock carefully. When he mailed his bill the next day, it was incorrect. To his credit, however, when I called and pointed out the overcharge, he agreed to send a new bill correcting it, although all he said was that he couldn't understand why his log was wrong. Overall, he was on time, knowledgeable, and competitively priced. I would hire him for a future job, however, I would ask to confirm the charges before he left so there would be no misunderstanding.
Description of Work: Jeff checked out our irrigation system, which had been off for the winter, & replaced 3 sprinkler heads. He seemed very knowledgeable & was able to find a leak no one else had found.
