The Move Remover

It didn't go well. Things were dropped, broken, damaged. He was great a few years ago. Not so much now. Took longer than anticipated and they got in a rush.

Two workers showed up on time, worked hard, and finished the job in a timely manner. I recommend this company for your moving needs.

I called Daniel at The Move Remover and asked for a quote approximately a month ago, and left a voice mail. Daniel called back very promptly and he was very polite, energetic and friendly during the conversation; I let him know that I would be needing a mover at the beginning of April and was just calling around to get quotes. Two weeks later, Daniel calls me back to see if I had found a mover and if he could help me with anything, what a great call! Not only is Daniel the ONLY person to call me for follow up, he was one of the few that called me back after I left messages period! I asked for the quote again, got the same quote as the first time, and hired him. I got a day before call to check details, and today Daniel and another gentleman showed up a little bit early and got right to work! Daniel is soo awesome, he even helped me get the truck parked correctly haha. I couldn't have been more pleased with the efficiency of their work, they were quick, only stopping for a drink of water, and finished a lot faster than I thought that they would have! When calling for quotes, I got a lot of attitude from other companies about a 3rd floor move with no elevator, but Daniel was happy to do it and neither of them complained once. They were very complimentary and very careful with my antique furniture, even suggesting that I remove the mirror from my vanity so that it would not break or cause damage. I would recommend Daniel and The Move Remover team to anyone, they are the friendliest, most efficient movers I have ever worked with! These guys are professionals, and the real deal, don't bother messing around shopping around for a better price, these guys had the best price, and were amazing. The people were very punctual and professional. They worked very fast even though they charge by the hour. The original estimate was $2,000 so it was exceeded but I was not surprised as it was a big move. It took two days instead of one which was fine with me. My only complaint was they moved too fast and caused some damage to the furniture. The most serious damage was a large dent and scratch across a custom made coffee table. The mover promissed to have it repaired but has not followed up to do it.

Based upon four good Angie's List reviews, I hired The Mover Removers to move furniture from my garage and bedrooms into the main living area of my house after new flooring had been installed. I paid $90 per hour for the labor of two men, Donald and Darren. They carefully moved the furniture onto the new wood plank flooring without scratching it. In a few instances they needed to dis-assemble and re-assemble individual items so they would fit through doors. They also hooked up my electronic equipment (TV, DVD player, computer, printer) after placing it in its permanent location. My only complaint is that they did not bring any tools or moving accessories with them to the job site. I partly blame myself for not adequately explaining to Donald on the phone exactly what tools would be required. As it turned out, I had most of the tools needed. I would suggest that The Move Removers always carry some basic tools (ratchets, screw driver, level, straps, sliders, blankets, ladder, etc.) with them to every job, even if no moving truck is required.

Daniel came by the old office, took a look at the stuff and was able to give us an estimate. Was up front about using U-Hauls instead of their own trucks. He was able to accommodate a schedule change and on move day, he showed up right on time and had the first load on the truck within 15 minutes of showing up on site. It ended up being three truck loads of stuff, but even so the whole job was done by 11:30 AM. Daniel's crew was polite and professional and Daniel seems to really care about he does. We were thrilled with these guys and would highly recommend them to anybody who wants a low key in town move.

This was the second time that I was able to depend on Daniel and his professional team to help out. The best part about the Move Remover is that when you call and request assistance with a move Daniel will get back with you very quickly on the weekends. Daniel came by and gave me a rough estimate of time and price to move all of my big furniture to my new home and set it up for me. With this company you rent the Uhaul and they load and unload it. It works out to be much less expensive this way. Daniel was at my home with his co-worker on time and got to work right away. They easily loaded and unloaded everything in less time than anticipated, which cost me less. The previous company I used had struggled to move my things and even nicked some of it. These guys were very careful and wrapped everything with the blankets I got from Uhaul and they were able to move even the heaviest stuff up the stairs without any assistance from us. It was awesome! My only complaint would be that they forgot their tools and mine were already packed and we had to locate some to take everything apart to move. I simply suggest a reminder call the night before or the day of your move if you need them to take anything apart or put it back together. My boyfriend got his tools and it was an easy fix. All in all I would hire these guys to do anything. They worked around my schedule and I did not have to miss even a minute of work to get the estimate or to get the job done. They were quick, careful, and on time. If you need something moved, hire these guys!

Went great from start to finish

The guys were very nice. They really wanted to help us. They would move in our stuff and they would ask us where they were suppose to put our belongings. They were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
