Jon Vetter with Seamless Renovations is very unprofessional and untrustworthy. When he began work on my house he stated it would take about 4-5 weeks to complete the job. For the first 3 weeks after "starting" the work, I could not get ahold of him via email or phone, even after numerous messages had been left. Through the 6-month long project (for 4-5 weeks worth of work, mind you) Jon was still very difficult to get ahold of and seemed to work approximately 1-2 hours a day on my home about once every week or so. Finally, when his deadline was approaching to have the work done, Jon would work 10-12 hours a day on the house, with the help of an inept workman; it was incredibly apparent that the quality of work suffered greatly due to his lack of time management skills. There are gouges in my new floors, globs of drywall obscuring electrical outlets, drywall dust covering all my furniture after I specifically asked him to make sure that wouldn't happen, and almost laughably poorly constructed kitchen cabinets, just to point out a few examples of his poor craftsmanship and lack of professionalism. Nearing the end of the job, I requested to talk with Jon about some suspicious items I found on my final bill, as it seemed that I had actually been charged for work that had not been done. For 2 straight weeks I was unable to get ahold of Jon, and all I asked for was to talk with him about the specific line items in the bill. Finally, I received a letter from his attorney, saying a lien would be put on my house if I did not pay Jon for the amount owed, though much of it was wrongfully charged. He has been unwilling to even communicate with me whatsoever about this issue. Working with Jon has been an incredibly dissatisfying experience, nightmarish almost, and I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He has no business being a contractor. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU HIRE JON VETTER.
