Description of Work: We moved houses recently and found that we could not locally rent a moving truck with a lift gate despite being able to do this in the past. On short order, I had to scramble and found Larsen. They were able to come out with a few days notice and pick up my wife's piano and a bunch of my shop equipment that was too heavy to move. They then stored the items for 48hrs while we were in between houses and then delivered out to the new house. Their workers were clean, polite and punctual. The amount paid seemed reasonable for the work done and I would use them again.

Description of Work: Totally professional company affiliated with United Van Lines for local and long distance moves. We used them for a local move. The lead of the 4-man moving crew had over 20 years experience doing long haul moving and is now training local crews. Nothing was banged up or dented with respect to walls or boxes. Extra care was taken with boxes labeled fragile. Coverings were used to protect floors and furniture. What I really appreciated was the effort to stack boxes with the labels facing where they could easily be read. We had a large number of boxes stacked in the garage until we get the first wave of boxes unpacked in the house. Boxes were arranged with aisles in between and easily read labels. | |They had to take a parts beds and office furniture and reassemble them. This they did really well. The desk unit that had been assembled by the last mover had been wobbly for the past 2 years when I moved across country to the Tri-Cities. Now the wobble is gone! It's solid and stable. | |If a box was moved to the wrong room, they graciously would move it to the right room even if it meant climbing 2 flights of stairs. Very positive attitude. | |They charge by the hour, and did not waste any time. They took two precisely scheduled 15-min breaks at 10 am and 3 pm, and did not charge for the lunch hour. The rate was $200/hour for 4 guys and two moving vans. | |We had some of our belongings in a storage area, and they brought two trucks. Two guys unloaded the apartment while the other two did the storage area. | |I had a quote for packing, but we decided to do the packing ourselves. We did not have to pay for boxes as they had a large amount of used ones we could use at no charge. They also provided packing paper. For 2 weeks before the move we just went to the warehouse when ever we needed more boxes and picked them up. Large fragile items like the flat-screen TV they brought packing for and packed it the day of the move. | |

Description of Work: They arrived on time and loaded all our belongings, boxes, furniture and misc items and moved them to our new house across town. The workers were polite and entertaining. They had good attitudes and worked hard all day. They unloaded and re-assembled beds and other furniture where we wanted it in the new house.

Description of Work: Provided moving services for across-town move. This included four personnel, moving of furniture, boxes, and all household items. Larsen provided their largest 53 foot van which was two-thirds full after packing. The household was packed in four hours in the morning and unpacked at the new location in four hours in the afternoon as was estimated by Larsen prior to the move.
