He picked out a beautiful fan, put up, and both fans in the bathroom, were always loud, now they are quiet, he was very kind, and considerate. He lets me pick my dates. I couldn't be happier with them. When he was done, I was so relieved.

He did a wonderful job, and was here for almost 2 hours. He even made sure to verify the connections on everything and tightened everything up for me. I'm really glad I called him. My late husband had bought the chandelier for me, and I appreciated that the electrician treated it with respect. He was efficient, reasonably priced, and I would highly recommend him. I was so impressed with his work and attention to detail that I'm certain I will call him back when I need more electrical work.

We just had some work done Sept 2016. Two projects. They were professional and the installs went in without a hitch. They may be young but they know what they are doing and how to get it done right the first time. A++..... Will use again for future projects. On time which is huge for us and clean up went well everyday. We highly recommend them for any electrical work. They even came out on a Saturday & Sunday for no extra charge at all. Worked around our schedule which is great.

nevally It went about as bad as bad can go from the beginning.  Essco said that morning he could get the job done that day.  It took over 5 hours before his man arrived on the job because he was stopping off for parts.  Mind you, we were being charged $65 per hour for every hour no matter shopping or working.  That first day he only got a couple things completed because he was told to get the wrong parts.  His limited experience in troubleshooting caused a major delay in getting a lighting/gfci problem taken care of.  When he was out of tricks, I spoke with the owner and recommended to him that he get someone out there that knew how to troubleshoot.  He did the next day and his first man began replacing wire from the garage to the shop. This first man told me that he could not get the wiring to budge because it had been in 3' of earth rather than be in conduit like we had hoped.  So he told me our best alternative was to go overhead rather than dig a ditch.  I looked and he had not removed any of the securing brackets to be able to tug at the wire, as even a novice should have known.  He and another man worked the better part of 2 days to run overhead wiring complete with weatherheads, and what they referred to as "special" cable which he told me had to be trucked overnite from the Bellevue area.  He and his fellow worker both went shopping (both!!) at Wal-Mart for almost 2 hours for more parts (at $65 per hour each, remember) and I happened to see the receipts and asked a couple key questions.  He had purchased this "special" cable at Wal-Mart but told me it was trucked from Bellevue.  This is how the job went; lies that began small and just crescendoed.  they continually had to go back to the store for parts and more parts and the $65 never stopped.  The conduit inside the shop was mounted crooked clear thru the roof and the inspector was not too impressed with that and neither was I.  The inspector said it still needed a connection to tighten the ground wire.  I told the owner of Essco it did not pass and he said he would send a man out the next day to fix that part.  He did and charged me $65 for an hour.  After it passed, I got the bill and it was for $5400.  I asked for a parts breakdown and he said it was not his normal practice to do that.  Finally he relented and sent me one.  After seeing it and knowing what he paid for a number of those parts, I sent them a check for $3400 and wrote paid in full on the check.  when they received it, the secretary told me if they cut $2000 off everyone's bill, they wouldn't be in business very long.  I told her if they continued to overcharge people $2000 they sure wouldn't be in business very long either.  Then I saw they were members of Better Business Bureau.  So I began communicating with BBB to resolve.  They continued to tell BBB how they had done all this correctly and that the wire was in the ground rather than in conduit.  I took lots of pictures and kept an accurate time line.  They continued to deny any wrong doing.  Finally I took a crude post and a fulcrum and within 1 hour I had pulled 3 feet of wire from the conduit which told me he never even tried to pull wire.  He may have just decided he wanted experience in running overhead and how was I to know?  This evidently was the last straw for the BBB and they ruled in my favor and Essco offered to settle for $3400, exactly what I had offered them in the first place.  I said we would agree to that.  This whole account was put on the BBB website for Essco and is still there almost 2 years.  If you want some really interesting reading about a company that conducts shady business under the BBB umbrella, read the 15 pages of report that BBB chose to publish.  Also, they dropped their A+ rating down to an A, which is way more than I believe they should be allowed to have.  So, in closing, I would never recommend a company that not only lied to me but they lied to the very association that gave them their good name.  So, read that BBB review before you hire Essco for anything and then you decide.  This is what happened to us.  This is true to the best of my recollection.

The crew was very polite, they hand dug the conduit, but forgot to put tarp down on grass before laying dirt, so when the trench was refilled the grass was quite the site.
BUT.. The owner stopped by a couple of times and sent another guy over to cleanup, reseed, etc.  If i still wasn't satisfied he would work on it again in the spring.  Because of all the followup afterwards i would definitely recommend these guys.
The electrical was done to code and looked nice in the new shop.
I gave a B on quality for this job, but i don't believe they will forget the tarp in the near future.
and pricing, they were in below another contractor i had called by a grand,  and the other contractor wasn't doing the trench, so it was definitely a no brainer.
