Horrible, I took my computer to them three times and they couldn't figure it out. I went to staples and they fixed it in a hour.

I scheduled 509 Geek because of their rating. The first time I scheduled them, I used their on-line scheduling. No one showed up. When I called, they explained that "it always works" and they lost an employee so they are backlogged. This was about 4 weeks ago. This week, I called again to schedule them to come to my house to work on my computer. They scheduled an on-site appointment for 12-1 today (April 3). By 2 p.m., no one had showed up. I called. The representative acknowledged my appointment and said they were supposed to come. Same excuse - they lost an employee. Very frustrated and needing help with my computer. Don't waste your time waiting for these guys - they just don't show up.

If troubleshooting and fixing typical problems which can commonly occur with PC's is not something you are comfortable doing yourself then I suggest giving these guys a try. They are honest, reasonably priced, professional and have a quick turnaround.

I took my laptop into the guys at 509Geek because I was unable to get to my desktop, internet connection, and operating system. They first thought that it was the hard drive and quoted me a price and told me that it would be done the next day.....I checked with them the next day and they were not sure what was going on with my laptop and wanted to wipe the hard drive, I gave them permission to do that. They then called me within 1 hour and told me that it was unfixable because it was the motherboard and would cost as much as a new computer. They did not charge me for the 2 days of work that they had done. When I purchased my new computer they installed all my files that they had put on an external hard drive. They also went above and beyond by talking to the service department of the people who hold the service plan on my old laptop. These guys are great, they know what great customer service is, and I will continue to take my computers to them.

The shop seemed well-organized, the guys working there were friendly and knowledgeable, the price was reasonable and it was altogether a good experience. I will definitely use them again.
