I talked to Mr. Wayne and he was a very nice and kind person, very attentive on all my questions also very responsible and reasonable in how to explain every single detail on the insulation. The workers also nice people, they were very clean, they did excellent job on my house since it wasn't insulation at all I can feel a huge differential, my house is warm now and cozy. I really recommend it to any one who want to do insulation, price was excellent after Mr. Wayne used all the rebates from the PSE. It went very well. Wayne inspected the work area, we discussed what would be done and he emailed me a complete and extremely fair quote. On removal and installation day, Wayne and his employee arrived on time and got right to work. The work site was kept clean the whole time and they left the house in clean condition. The whole process took less time than I expected. In addition to the insulation, they installed some necessary venting in the roof for kitchen/ bathroom fans that did not extend to the outside. All was done efficiently and for the quote previously provided. I'm very happy and satisfied with Wayne, his employee and the excellent service they provided. I would use them again if needed and would definitely recommend Wayne's Insulation.

Wayne was amazing. He called to a few days before work was to begin and when he was on his way. So, his communication was excellent. He explained how the job was going and if he saw anything that needed to be addressed. His final bill was less than expected, because he didn't need to replace the ground cloth, so he didn't. He offered to fix a drywall hole for free. I highly recommend Wayne, if you need work done.

The people were very professional. They arrived on time and completed the work that was commissioned. They placed runners on the floor where they needed to come into the house to keep the floor clean. They also cleaned and vacuumed before they departed. Insulation was added to my attic. They paid attention to the details. Skylights were insulated and tied as were the exhaust vents. Under the house, heat ducts were re-attached to the house where they had fallen off. All seams were sealed. All ducts were totally insulated. Wayne took care of the paperwork to get a rebate from my electric company. I would totally recommend Wayne and would hire him again.

Before hiring Wayne and his crew I asked him about his previous "no show" poor reviews and he let me know he was in the hospital during that time. I decided to give him a try, his bid was also a couple hundred less then the other bid I received. Wayne was very polite and always arrived when scheduled. Wayne does not do the work himself and had a two man crew who did the job. This crew was sloppy with the vacuuming phase of the project, apparently the vacuum hose failed halfway through and they tried to sweep up the remaining rat waste. Unfortunately, this was not effective and left piles of rat feces in the corners of the rafters, but instead of waiting for the vacuum repair they installed the new insulation over the piles. I found this out upon my own inspection, after payment. When I contacted Wayne about this issue he arrived to inspect promptly. After some discussion we settled on a small price reduction and the removal of the insulation from the area not vacuumed, It was then vacuumed and re-insulated. (I'm still not sure if it was sanitized?) I would have given the job a C or D except for the fact that Wayne stood by his name and corrected it. I do wish Wayne inspected the work of his crew more thoroughly at the appropriate stages. In the end it was his responsibility for the sloppy vacuuming and he owned up to it. The other aspects of the work were an A.

Set up an appointment via phone with all the information requested. No one show up during the 1 hour window, no call, no reschedule, and I was taking time off work and waiting at home.

Wayne scheduled an appointment at a time that was convenient for him (my schedule was wide open all week). He never showed and never called to reschedule (possibly because he didn't bother to get my phone number).

We scheduled a site visit for an estimate relatively quickly. When the day arrived he did not show up. When I called to find out why, he said he misplaced our information. Not a huge deal, he went out of his way to show up the same day at a different time. Unfortunately, we still have not received a quote from him. It's been 2.5 weeks and have spoken with him twice. Based on previous reviews, this is consistent behavior. Bummer.

Very well done. They were in and out cleanly, very courteous. When I had some questions after the work Wayne was very gracious and continually told me that no matter what they would make any problems right. PSE inspector said it was done very well.

Wayne is fantastic! Work was very well done, at a very reasonable price. He was punctual, explained everything that would be done, and also gave me advice on some other work I'd planned to do myself. I definitely hire him again!

Wayne's team simply did a beautiful job at a fraction of the price the Eastside was going to charge. He also provided a free estimate. I would use him again.

Mr. Wayne arrived as scheduled and promptly went on to work. He's even answered my wife's questions that are unrelated to the job being done, very accommodating.

Wayne was very professional and flexible with my varying schedule. When he first came out for the estimate, he was quick and informative. he explained the process and codes for insulation. Once we were able to get time scheduled, they were quick in getting it all done. I don't admire what his guys had to do in our small crawl space! I've been down there and would like never to have to go down there ever again. The work they performed made it look 100 times better! I have noticed the heating bill has gone down by at least half. I will definitely call Wayne again for any insulation or vapor barrier work in the future.

I inspected the entire crawlspace twice - once after the debris was removed and duct seams sealed with the mastic. In addition, I inspected the entire crawlspace again at the end when the crawlspace work was nearly completed. I still need to inspect a few random areas to ensure that the existing paper facing was indeed cut/slashed to ensure I don't have any potential "mid-joist" vapor barrier issues that could arise over time - given the new unfaced insulation was put over the old paper/foil faced batting to come to the R-30 value. The attic baffling for air vents appeared appropriate and the insulation approach in the attic appeared sound. Wayne provided both the quote and the supervision of the project. Wayne was pleasant to work with and provided good information about heating and ventilation issues - in both our crawlspace and attic. His crew of five (2 in attic, 3 in crawlspace) did a good job in performing the scope of work. Assuming the crawlspace slashing/cutting of the original "reversed" insulation was indeed done (pending my final inspection), I would not hesitate to use Wayne's team again to perform the work.

I was very satisfied with everything. They were fast, professional, and everything was cleaned up after the work. They were a third of the cost of the other estimate I got and they were willing to work with me as I didn't have a furnace at the time, just electrical heat. Now with the insulation I am much more comfortable.

Went pretty well overall. Wayne seemed pretty honest. I'd had another insulation contractor who only bothered to look up in one access hatch tell me I needed to remove all of the insulation in the attic due to some rat droppings. That was going to double the cost. Wayne got up in both access hatches and said that the rat droppings were localized to an area near the first hatch and that removal wasn't going to be necessary. He said they could spot clean it instead with a vacuum. The final objective, which was turning my attic into a thermos, was done well. The guys doing the work, Stephen and Ricardo, showed me how much insulation they blew up there and it looked pretty good from the ladder I was on. It kind of looked like it snowed pink in my attic. They did a good job insulating and weatherstripping the hatches to the attic as well. They also cleaned up some rat poop and nailed some hardware cloth on where they thought the rats had entered in the past. They did put plastic sheets over the beds in the rooms with the access hatches, which I appreciated. They put down tarps on the carpet too. Wayne was pretty responsive to email and called me after the guys left the job to make sure it went OK. I'd call the communication good overall. The guys didn't do a perfect job cleaning up afterwards, but it wasn't a huge deal for me because I really wanted to vacuum the bedrooms after they left. They handled the $600 rebate from PSE, so my out of pocket was $1250 for the job. < $1 ft^2 to go from R-not-very-much up to R49 seemed like a no brainer. I think its going to make a big difference in the winter, as the house is already noticeably cooler during the day now (its August currently).

3 different times Wayne did not show up to my house for appointments to give me an estimate on some work in my crawlspace. On the 1st time he at least called and said he couldn't make it, and then gave me a little bit of insight on crawlspace issues. I definitely thank him for doing that. However, I set up another appointment with him for the following Friday, and he no showed without calling me. I ended up calling him and he said that he somehow forgot. We set up another appointment for the following Monday and he no showed again. Still haven't heard from him. Needless to say, I ended up calling someone else to come out. He seems like he knows his stuff and like he would do a good job, but to no show 3 times is unacceptable and very unprofessional.

Our crawlspace and attic was heavily damaged by rodents. It was a rental property before we bought it. The ground was covered with rat drops. Wayne's team ripped all the old damaged insulation, and rebuilt the crawlspace and attic insulation, also including replacing the some of the duct which was chewed by rat, and we choose to go with several optionals to make insulation energy usage more efficient. Our had two bids for this project. We choose Wayne's proposal because first it is 10% less than the other bid. Quite big portion of the total price goes to the material cost. If the total price is 10%, it means the labor cost goes down quite a bit. We are very satisfied with the price. Also our attic lacks of access entrances. The other bid asked us to open up the entrances ourselves. To open several big holes (fitting a human size) in drywall is quite a work for homeowners like us. We would need to find another contractor to open those holes. Wayne did not need us to open the holes. He said his team could use the small openings on the side of attic and also for the holes he needed, they would open up the drywall themselves and close it out when the job was done. The team came in appointed time, and finished the work longer than expected since the job was bigger than expected. We are glad that we choose Wayne's insulation. The quality is very good. We had a couple of other contractors working in crawlspace and attic. They commented out the insulation in attic is 12 inch deep fiberglass and who ever did the insulation did a very good job. I gave a B on the professionalism because we got calls twice during the installation and telling us the estimate was not correct. The actual size of the crawlspace and attic was much bigger than previous estimate. It made us very nervous when getting call indicating the estimate was off, and the work was pretty much done. But Wayne is honest person. The size was truly much bigger than original estimate. Wayne gave us a very favorable price for the changes and did many free work to us. We looked at the other bid, the size estimate was not accurate either. Wayne also opened a city permit for the crawlspace and attic work. And the inspection passed without a problem. In general, we are very satisfied.
