Treasure Marble & Tile

Went really well.

Al Graney was very detail oriented and made sure that were very happy with the work that he did. All of the tiles line up very nicely, he was very good about working and cleaning as he worked and giving helpful advice on the after care of our flooring.

I did the demo and prep work for our remodel myself as I'm very particular as to how I want things done. The bathroom is small and, as is inevitable, had all sorts of quirks with things being out of square and level. We also wanted to keep our existing original floor tile and floor cove. So while not a huge job this was certainly a fiddly one. Al was happy to work closely with me on making sure the backer board and waterproofing was just what I wanted, and ensuring everything was shimmed to match both the original tile and some of my work. Al then carefully figured out the cuts and we ended up with a really nice continuous run of staggered tiles. It looks fantastic. Al went above and beyond to seal and caulk as I wanted, and was happy to redo or adjust any glitches as we found them. He stopped to check if there was any doubts and helped us work through the choices. We have two young kids and only one bathroom, so Al also put in two very long days at the end to get the project wrapped up. He was also sure to leave things in a usable state for us. I'd happily use Al again.
