They seemed competitive when they gave me a quote, though they didn’t charge me anything the last time. When they have been here they have always gone to the crawl space to repair or maintain the sump pump. They have been here about 5 times and I will continue to use them in the future.

We called The Plumbing Joint to replace a broken toilet in the bathroom. They came on time and they were really helpful. They prices are mid- to high level, but their technicians are very competent and very knowledgeable. They were right on time and the quality was the best. I absolutely would call them again.

He was competent. I also had a kitchen faucet that had a crack in it and he was good enough to take a picture of it and take it back to the shop to identify it. He was able to identify it so I went to the shop and picked up a new one. I probably should have checked around some more because of the price but I just wanted to get it taken care of. The water heater was put in as it should have been. They were quite responsive. They sent somebody out to look at it the same day that I called. They were very professional. I think I would use them again.

I set up a service call and the service man Tony came out a few minutes earlier that he told me which was good. He came in and took care of the clog quickly after telling me what he thought might be the problem and what he could do. Also, he said he would leave the service call open for a month in case I had further problems so I wouldn't be charged the call fee again. The big thing here is he didn't waste tiime so I was happy and able to proceed with my day as I hoped to.

Things didn't start off great, my service appointment was scheduled for 4:00 and by 4:15 the plumber hadn't shown up so I called the office to see what was going on. The woman on the phone said the plumber was running late with another appointment and would call when he was on his way. He called around 5:15 and said he would be over in 15 mins I completely understand running late from another appointment, but it would have been nice to get a call instead of having to call into the office. Other than the late appointment, the service was great. The plumber quickly diagnosed the problem and snaked the drain free of the debris that was causing the slow drain. He was in and out in 30 mins. I would definitely use the Plumbing Joint again.

Arrived on time installed tub and plumbing and completed job for Approximately $300 less than estimate. Very professional installation and personnel.

I am very pleased with all phases of the job. The dispatcher was very nice and informative. The plumber was extremely pleasant and professional as was his assistant on the second day. Very satisfied!

One of the plumbers was able to come out the same day I called, though my job wasn't urgent. He arrived a few minutes before the earliest estimated time (@1050 when estimate was between 1100-1400). Tony Flynn quickly diagnosed the problem... that all three toilets had a warped seal (?rubber ring). He offered two different ways to fix it: one was more thorough and extensive, saying that these units were old and could fail. The toilets are 20 years old. He also offered to just fix the seals. I was not adverse to the former but hadn't planned on the expense and the need to turn off the water! I elected the latter, which he did in about a half hour. The business card says "fast and efficient" and he definitely was! I will likely either replace the entire unit or the toilets in the future. I would call The Plumbing Joint again to do the work.

The final repairs took two visits. During the first visit Tony fixed the leaking hot water shut off valve. However after Tony left we found we were unable to use the shower due to a lack of cold water. We called Tony back out and that is when he found the stuck temperature regulator valve. He gave us the option of trying to fix it or just replace the whole assembly. Due to uncertainty of how long it would take to fix the current system, we opted to just replace it all. Tony was very professional, cuffs us and forthcoming with information.

The job was done very well. Mike, the plumber, was courteous, on-time, and professional. He called before arrival, cleaned up after, and was very respectful of my home. The clog was massive and is now perfectly clear. I have finally found a plumber (I have tried many in the past).

I chose them based on reviews and I called one other place just to see how their prices compared. They were slightly lower. They were able to give me the date and time I requested and he showed up exactly on time. It only took 45 minutes which was a relief since I'm paying by the hour. He was detail-oriented which is important to me. For instance he put a perfect, clean line of caulk at the base of the toilet. I've had plumbers be really sloppy with this simple task before. He installed the new toilet, tested it and hauled away the old. The only glitch was that after he left I did a load of laundry and the toilet filled with water at the point where the washer sucks the dirty water out! He came back & checked it out but couldn't determine the problem without cutting into the wall, which I did not want to do at that point. Long story short - it never happened again. I think somehow water got into the line during the replacement process because the toilet not only filled with water, it also made a blurp, blurp sound, as in giant air bubbles. But like I said it's never happened again so I haven't had to contact them. He didn't charge me to come back & try to figure it out. Thank God I didn't have him cut into the wall!

Great job, very responsive, on time, friendly, would definitely use again and have already referred them to a neighbor.

He came within one hour of our call, was so pleasant, efficient and professional. The only thing that surprised us was his price.

The plumber arrived EXACTLY on time. Many companies tell you a time, and it's the time they leave the shop. Very impressive. I had a clogged kitchen sink and he was very professional, very thorough and gave me some tips to avoid having this happen in the future. He offered a discount for a coupon on Angie's List, but my computer was not co-operating at the time. He did what he could to be economical for me. I have used this company several times in the past and would always rate them an "A".

I thought the charges were high, but it could be the market rate He charged for 3/4 of an hour for labor, but I didn't think he was here for more half an hour. Overall, I thought the work went well.

They were very professional and helpful.

We asked them to figure out what was the best solution for getting hot water to the Kitchen sink and dishwater which are a long ways from the hot water heater. It was taking 2-3 minutes of running the water before hot water would come into the kitchen sink. They gave us options and approximate prices for some solutions. When we first asked them to come out, we were under the impression that we would have to install a point of service tankless water heater under the sink but they dissuaded us from going that route since it would have been quite costly. Instead, they recommended installing a more cost effective circulating pump. We agreed to that solution. They then did more research after leaving our house to look at various brands and models of a circulating pump which would provide instant hot water at the kitchen sink. They came back later to install. They were on time and the final cost was within the range that they said it would be. We have used them once before and would use them again.

The man came in and took measurements inside from furnace to range area and to the fireplace. He said he didn't need to go into the crawl space to give the estimate. He then went outside and measured the distance from the water meter to where the line entered the crawl space and said he would work up the estimate on it also and send it over in a couple of days via e-mail. I asked him didn't he want to check the wet area around the pipe joint entering beneath the house and he said that wasn't necessary. I had Best Plumbing saying that the pipe wasn't needing to be replaced so I was really confused. I waited for his bid and finally decided to call. He seemed irritated that we called and said he would send it when he had completed it. The numbers were so inflated when they did come in on the gas lines and the water line replacement that we were dumbfounded. I had received and estimate prior on the gas lines that had included the fireplace lining and blower etc. from Griffis Heating and Air Condition (pre-joining Angie's list) that was thousands below The Plumbing Joint's bid that only included the piping with key cutoffs. Sadly so far only one out of the three companies I found through Angie's list (Best Plumbing) would I ever consider using in the future. Beginner's bad luck?

Buddy came out, replaced the shower arm quickly. We've had no problem since! Thank you.

The plumber came out within 4 hours of my inital call. He did a very good job and explained to me how I could do some of the work to save money in the future.

The work was very good. The price might have been a little high. The job was good and everything was fixed. He was on time for his appointment.

They were very responsive. They came out the same day I called. They were efficient. There was a problem with one of the things they did and they came out and fixed it.

We asked the tech guy to fix the water pipe leak in the crawl space. The tech guy showed up on time and spend round 4 hours to have the pipes changed. The leak problem is fixed now. They billed what was quoted.

They were very good and I had no complaints. They were on time, friendly, professional and the quote was accurate. I will use them again in the future.
