Description of Work: I had new front doors installed. It was a tricky project because I live in an old house, and the doors are sizes that are no longer made. Steve was fantastic at finding the right door and getting it just right. The other people I tried to get a bid from weren't ever able to find a door the right size. Steve is also very pleasant to work with. I would recommend him 100%. Working with him is the best contractor experience I've had.

+ -1 moreSteve arrived on time and did the repair as he had outlined for me when he came to do the inspection. Overall, the project took about 2 hours. The repair was done professionally and Steve was very conscientious. He explained to me what he was doing so that I understood, and he cleaned up after he was done. I was impressed with the quality of the work and care devoted to the project. He was also prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use him again.
Description of Work: I had a door that was cracked on the side and door locks that weren't properly installed when the doors were first installed. The improper installation of the door looks was the cause of the cracking. At first, I asked Steve whether it was necessary to replace the door. After he inspected it, he told me that he could repair the door and the locks, rather than replace the door entirely.

+ -1 moreThe previous homeowners owned a dog and made two in built dog doors for the interior and exterior garage door. Since we do not own any pets, as new homeowners, we wanted this changed. We put in our request through Home Advisor (www.homeadvisor.com) and Steve's name came up. We contacted him, he came to the home and assessed the doors, gave us a quote and within a week, the project was completed. He was extremely professional, on time, friendly, polite, wonderful person to talk to and would recommend him any time to any one. Steve's information is as follows: SMC L. L. C.
