They have a great staff. They are good on warranty work we had a issue our sliding door didn't fix quiet right and they were the ones that figured it out, they were the one that said it wasn't right and ordered a replacement and put it in.

The window replacement came out beautifully. They actually built a different frame around the window then they originally had planned and it looks really nice. The installers, Casper and Chris J., were on time, professional, dealt with lead paint issues (as required by law). They also changed out a door sill that had Anderson Window had put almost 10 years ago (no charge). For some reason the sill had some wood rot. Casper also changed the caulk in another door that Anderson installed about 10 years ago. And fixed a lock that was just a bit off. Casper and Chris were fast and efficient and very pleasant. Anderson Windows is a bit expensive but they do great work and always stand behind the work they do and I think that's worth it.

It went extremely well. They contacted us ti set up the initial appointment for measuring and what we needed to do ahead of installation so that the installer had proper access to the windows inside and out. The final appointment was set up for installation and we were called a few days beforehand as a reminder. Matt and Justin showed up on time and got right to work.They went over the job, confirmed what needed to be done, were polite and respectful. Afterwards, they cleaned up after themselves and demonstrated how the windows can be removed for cleaning. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of ;the company and staff and how well the windows work for our needs.

Once they got here it worked well. The installers, Paul B. and Austin, worked diligently, did a tidy job, and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. So far, the windows work very well.

They were professional, friendly, cared about the environment and completed the job as they said they would.

Had the 1st of 13 new windows installed by Ryan and Lincoln. They did an excellent job with a challenging installation. Looking forward to having the rest of the windows installed in a couple of weeks.

Overall this was a good experience. Having had used Pella in the past which are insanely expensive, I would say the Renewal windows are a good option for those wanting a middle of the road option that are not gross vinyl window options and not as expensive as Pella. Definitely be sure you examine the window samples carefully. They will not look as nice as Pella windows, but we are still pleased overall. A definite plus as would be our installation experience. Our installers (Ryan and Lincoln) were the best part of this whole process. They were prompt, friendly, clean, and extremely invested in making sure we were happy with the experience. The frustrations come before the installation - I would say the company feels a little too car salesmen like. When you have your initial visit they sell hard and want to talk forever. Once you sign up, you get a case manager. Ours was not amazing and delayed our window installation - we had to call the company to confirm a proposed new installation date, not the other way around. Just feels like too many people, too much bureaucracy, and probably helps contribute to an overall window that could be delivered at less cost. At the end of the day though, we are happy, no complaints, and the windows have made an amazing difference and were installed well.

One window arrived manufactured backwards. Was quickly recognized and corrected.

We had three windows and some french doors installed in our living/dining room. After six months with the new windows, I can say that they were very expensive, but worth every penny. First the install: Nothing went as planned and yet they got half the job done on the first day. It was so quick and well done that the neighbors wouldn't have known anything was done if the truck had not been in the driveway all day. The second half needed repairs before they could proceed. So, they removed the door and covered the opening so well that the only issue we had was from a lack of insulation. In mid November with the wind and rain blowing against this face of the house (the southwest facing side), it was very simple to remove the cover, repair the wall, and prep the opening for the door installation. Then it was just as simple to recover the opening keeping the weather out of the house through the entire 3 weeks required to make the repairs and get back on the schedule. When it was ready, the guys came back to install the door and finish the interior trim. And ROCK IT they did! We have received compliments from everyone who has come to visit, many comment every time they see the new windows. Secondly, the glass and the frames have already improved living conditions in the house. Through the winter, we felt no cold drafts and found the furnace ran less often. As the weather warmed up the low E glass has done as advertised and kept the hot air out. We can now cover the windows with a light roller shade to keep the sun from heating the carpet and furniture where we used to need a blackout curtain to control the sun. To Paul, Ryan, Coltin and Brock I send a hearty thank you. You guts are very skilled and were a pleasure to have in the house doing the work. To Erin and everyone in the office, thanks again. We appreciate the special effort you made getting us the outside trim early to get it painted prior to installation. We look forward to our next project with you!

Company requires that you and your spouse are present for sales call/presentation. Not negotiable whether spouse wants to be involved at that point or not. They require 90 minutes. Salesman arrived punctually. Presentation was over the top of interesting, but unnecessary information on the history of the company, etc. Then the hard sale started. Although I explained our intent was to replace an exterior door, wall and window with a good quality - not the highest quality, nor the lowest quality French Rail Door, the sale kept going to their top of the line product that was out of our price range. the conversation continued on for quite a while longer and turned to almost shaming me for not wanting the best in class wood and Renewal by Anderson patented product that is to be installed in kitchen leading out to a covered deck. Kept being asked why i wouldn't want to put the best quality product in my house. He could not comprehend that budget played a large part in our decision. Totally turned off to this company by the unending hard sell.

I want you to know how impressed I am with my new Renewal Windows by Anderson. Kraig and Paul C’s who removed the old windows and installed the new ones make a great team, they were punctual, completed my project in one day, and left my home spotless. The quality and workmanship are excellent. I strongly recommend Renewal Windows by Anderson to anyone needing to replace their windows.

We had every window in our house but one, and the patio sliding door replaced. With a few small exceptions, the entire process went smoothly and we are very satisfied with the result. The installation crew, Vantha Men and Vincent Moll, conducted themselves very professionally throughout the installation process. They were courteous, cleaned up the work area after each day and were very patient in answering all my questions. The were only 2 small problems with the entire process. First, the factory sent the wrong window for the bedroom. The sliding window had two sides that opened and they sent two of the same side. Both sides were installed to cover the opening and then we had to wait another 30 days for the correct window to be sent from the factory. Unfortunately, when the replacement window arrived, it was also the wrong one. Fortunately the technician sent with the replacement window was able to modify the replacement and make it work properly. The other minor discrepancy was that when the patio door was installed, the carpet retention strip was removed and now the carpet is loose in the room by the door. Again, these problems were minor and do not detract from our overall satisfaction. We would heartily recommend using Anderson to anyone considering window replacement.

They did an excellent. They did a really good job. The carpenters were excellent. We would use them again. We had them here a while back to get an estimate on doing the rest of the windows/ get an idea on what it would cost.

It was great. I would recommend them. They were prompt, reasonably priced and did excellent work. Their window products have held up well and we are very happy with them. The windows look just fine, they are the right windows and we are very happy with the installation that we got. The windows are great, they work just as they were advertised and look wonderful. I was told that Renewal By Andersen people know how to install windows by a contractor who didn't have any experience with installing replacements. Both from the windows stand point and from the services stand point, I would recommend them.

It was the same man that came out before. He had been with the company for 20 years. I value longevity. The same sales person came out that we had initially. He remembered us and we remembered him. That is a good company if they retain people, I think it's excellent. We intend to use them in future as soon as we can fit in to the budget.

They were installed by a contractor who knew what he was doing. We didn’t have the service by Renewal By Andersen but just the product.

They did an excellent job! They installed six large picture windows. The installers were Matt and Brock. They both did a very good job and were very meticulous with the installation. They arrived prepared and cleaned up well.

It's a great product but I definitely overpaid for what I got. I had a discount and they marked up the product to basically eliminate the discount that I should have received. But the product itself is fantastic. I ended up getting charged $3000 and I should have been charged $2000. So what they did was, I had a $1000 discount available and instead of charging me $3000, which was the retail rate, they bumped the retail rate to $4000, so that they got their full retail rate after applying my discount. I found out after the fact. But, by the time it was too late. They were right on time. What stands out about the company is, great product, overpriced and high pressure sales. This was the first time I used them. The staff was fine. They were pleasant and all that.

Initially we thought we could get by with simply replacing fogged glass panes with a new window and a new door pane. This could have been done at price estimates ranging from $1,200 to $2,400. However, the reason we are replacing these items ourselves is that the company who manufactured them went bankrupt nine years into a 10+10=20-year warranty period. We purchased the house new in Year 2004. Last year we were into year eleven of the now worth nothing 20-year warranty. These were the 2nd and 3rd instances of fogged windows (the 1st did get covered under warranty) but we can see that other houses in our neighborhood also have obviously failing window seals facing the street. That made us think: suppose the other window pane fails on the patio door, which as contractor grade is cheap, flimsy, and already cost us $278 to replace the screen door on it. We decided to look into buying new replacements as the odds seem good that other panes will fail as well. To cut to the chase, we looked at four separate estimates and chose Renewal by Andersen even though it has cost us about twice the amount of its nearest competitive bid. The biggest difference in presentation was that the Renewal by Andersen sales person had actual working demonstration models to show us. Fortunately for us we had already looked at several options by the time we received the Andersen representative in our home. The added qualities of their products, their superior warranty, their long history in the industry, and the on site demonstration of actual working models of the product convinced that we would pay more to get more. For one thing, the upstairs window panes can be removed and cleaned without going outside the house. Then the two-person work crew came out and impressed us with their professional follow through, including mounting the new window and door in such a way as to preserve the existing inside sills and blinds infrastructure. As it turns out, we consider ourselves very lucky to have gone the replacement route because, as it turns out, settlement of the house on its foundation has started to create hairline openings around at least two of our windows and doors. One, the patio door itself, has been repaired, closed, and sealed by installing the new door. The other, a window above the patio door, has a visible stretch mark on it and, based on the advice volunteered by the workmen, we will have the entire outside inspected, caulked, and cleaned as necessary this year. Had we simply replaced the glass on that patio door, then, who knows?, maybe we would have had a much bigger door problem in the future.
