Renewal By Andersen of Washington

The installation crew of Peter K., Paul C., Lincoln and Manuel arrived when expected and each introduced themselves. The crew worked efficiently and effectively as the weather was less than perfect i.e. raining. Drop cloths and plastic sheeting was laid down to protect my floors and home. It was a 2 day project and all window installations with additional trim was done well and the final result was exceptional. The windows are not cheap but the quality is worth it.

To be clear: The guys who came to our house to install the twice-incorrectly made windows were great. The factory that produces Andersen windows appears to be deeply incompetent. The first time, they came in, setup (making sure to protect everything), and started working, only to discover that the factory had made the windows incorrectly. They apologized and called several people to find out why the windows were made wrong and/or what they could do about it. The guy who originally measured our windows came over (again) to double-check the dimensions. It was all as he'd originally wrote it - the factory just ignored the specification of the sill angle and made it however the heck they wanted to. As such, it was not possible to install the windows. Today, Casper, Cole, and Esteban came to our house with all new windows - this time for sure! The factory failed again. The sill angle was better, by 1°. One. This was not what was ordered, nor what was specified. The determination of this "factory" to screw-up is commendable, albeit horribly misguided. These guys were like the first bunch (could be the same guys - I'm terrible with names): They setup, were very conscious of protecting every last thing, and informed me as soon as they found out that the factory had screwed the pooch again. They installed the two small windows they could, then cleaned-up everything and departed, with many apologies. So far I have taken 2 days off of work to be available in case something came up. Two days wasted because the Andersen Windows factory, it seems, cannot read their own order form. If you decide to invest (a lot of) money in Renewal by Andersen, make sure they verify the dimensions and sill angles of all of the windows BEFORE coming to your house. Let them have if out with the factory without involving you and wasting your time. And, best of all, the site that enters you in a drawing for posting reviews, yeah, that didn't work. No date format was correct, and the help-chat person was no help and had to have somebody from her office contact me blah blah blah. To submit an online form. It seems, then, that the ONLY good thing about Renewal by Andersen is the installation crews.

Waylin and David M were great! They worked through the inclement weather and installed my beautiful windows and door. They went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my project. They cleaned up my house and were very professional,. Thanks Renewal! What a great company to work with!

It was excellent. It was top level work. I liked the experience and the care of the installers. The quality of the windows cut down on noise. It was very good. They were very responsive. They were always there when they said they were going to be there. They were very professional. I would go to them first if I needed any windows. They explained everything. They did what they said they were going to do. The windows helped me sell my condo.

Ok. They had some issues in some of the work that they performed, and we tried to get it fixed. They came out to fix it, and it wasn't fixable. They were out three months ago to fix something again, it wasn't fixed the first time again. I learned the window points, and I would not use them again. Its a warranty on it, and they try to fix what breaks.

Ryan w. , Dan m., and Tyler were the installers. They went above and beyond working outside in a snow storm, hail storm and rain. They had a smile on there faces all day in spite of the conditions. Renewal by Anderson should be very proud of these workers. They were polite and very friendly. I can easily recommend this company.

Wonderful job!! Couldn't be happier! Waylin and David M. were on time, courteous, extremely professional, polite and respectful of our property. Our house was cleaner when they left. They removed all debris from our property and made sure everything was perfect. It's amazing how in just a few hours, you can tell our house is already warmer. We love our new windows. Our home is almost 100 years old and we are impressed at how our new windows resemble the charm of the old style Craftsman windows. We LOVE our new windows!! I highly recommend Renewel by Anderson! We have more windows to replace and will be asking for Waylin and David M. to return. Thank you!

Very well, they did have come back and rework a seal on one window

They did a really great job. They were great. The price was reasonable. I would use them again if I needed them. Great product and great service. Highly recommend. They cleaned up beautifully.

They were expensive and the only hesitation I would have. They weren't very flexible on discounts.

I have no complaints with the windows and they did a better installation job than other companies.

They claim the door is custom sized that they built for us, they were not gouging us. They came in measured and came out. I was out of town but came back in when getting installed. They literally had the door out and new one installed within a few hours and were gone. The door has been perfect since. They did a great job, didn't make a mess and life was good. They were right there when they said they would be, returned the calls. Right on the money. Crew that installed the door, quick, efficient, answered any questions we had and cleaned up.

It's been a long time. They did do this one job and I'd give them on A on this because they were excellent. But they had to come back multiple times because we needed some windows replaced and I was really annoyed by their salesman. Now when Andersen calls, I hang up because I feel they are just too pushy. I think they had just prepared well. The measurements clearly had been taken well and the install went quickly. There was slight paint damage which we were expecting because they were external windows, but they were nice enough, because they had their ladders up and I had extra paint so they touched it up so I didn't have to call anyone else to do that.

We have used them several times. Like any contractor, ensure you have a good understanding of what they're going to do. The workers were professional and polite.

They did a fabulous job. They showed up exactly when they said they would, he was quick and efficient and got the job done and out of there. I never noticed a problem with the lock but they put a lock and security lock above the door. Good guy. Excellent call they made. The guy was in and out in 20 mins. They proactively contacted me. I did not know there was an issue until I got a letter in the mail and I appreciated that. The guy was professional, quick, neat, cleaned up the lock and checked the other lock which was no additional charge either.

Door did not fit. Had to make several calls and virtually beg the person in charge of getting someone out to fix it. 2-3 representatives came to fix door, but still door would not lock from outside. The actual service manager finally came out AGAIN to fix it and came to the decision that the door did not fit in the frame correctly and therefore would not close right, or lock. This was a problem for me considering it was a $5, 000+ door. The only was the door locks is if I push up on the handle while turning the lock inside or key on the outside. The last time it was serviced it worked for about 1 week and then reverted back to the original problem of needing a push to lock. I haven't called the company back because, while this is a gorgeous door, it has been THE biggest pain in the backside EVER. If I could, I'd probably put my old, ugly door back. It WORKED

It turned out great. They're pretty fast. Two persons came out to do the work for one day. They left the area very clean. They installed it really well. They had good workmanship.

It was expensive but it was worth the cost. They really back their work up. A year before they also installed a few new windows and one of the technicians working this job noticed I had an issue with one of the installed windows from the previous work. He went back to the company and let them know and with no issues the came back and replaced it.

It went fine. They did a good job. They damaged one window screen and they replaced it without any problems. The workers were good.

It was excellent. It was a very good experience. They did show up on time. They gave us a demonstration about maintaining the heat in the house with these new windows once they had installed them. It really stuck to my mind because it was so dramatic. They had a portable heater device and they applied it close to the window on the inside and then we went on the outside and tried to feel if we could feel heat coming through and we could not at all. It was a really dramatic and powerful demonstration.
