Description of Work: Bought "kit" to build in Alaska. Very strong design and materials. Pan Abode was very responsive to our needs. Expensive but worth it.

+ -1 moreWe have been in our new home for approximately 2 years and continue to be impressed with the quality of the plans and kit that Pan Abode provided to our builder. They were very professional to work with, extremely responsive to our concerns and requests and rapidly replaced damaged material during construction. They responded promptly to the only issue we've had since we've moved in, which was an inoperative window. The materials selected by Pan Abode are first class, the cedar is getting more beautiful with age. We would recommend Pan Abode to anyone wishing to build a post and beam cedar home.

+ -1 moreWe have been looking at Pan Abode Homes since 1991. We have always liked the way they look and the longevity of their homes. In 2007 we finally decided to build one. Working with Pan Abode homes has been a pleasure. They have been very responsive to our several requests for revision and have been willing to consult with us on all of them. Their sales and design staff are professionals and have worked with us all the way. We have just begun building (poured the foundation on 12/31/2009). The reason that the quality block has been checked as N/A is that our kit has not yet been delivered to the job site. Let's see how this goes. To be continued...
Description of Work: Pan Abode met with us to work on plans for our home. We took a standard plan out of their book and customized it to meet our needs and our property. They drew up original plans and then went through several revisions as we got closer to what we wanted. They will also be providing the kit for our home, including the structure, doors, windows, door locks and handles, interior paneling and trim. They also gave us complete plans for the foundation structure and a deck that we are adding to the house. They were classified as architects because no category really seemed to fit them exactly. Home kit provider would be closer, but they do offer architectural services as well.
