Ted went above and beyond in planning, coordinating and completing my project. He guided me through the maze of city and county requirements and oversaw all aspects of the project. His excavation and installation work were excellent. Ted LaValley is a contractor of the highest caliber. I highly recommend LaValley Backhoe, LLC.

+ -1 moreSuperb job! Did all the work required in a single day, including laying the road over Mirafi so the road can be removed after construction vehicles are done on the site. The cost included seven truckloads of crushed concrete to make a 4” thick, 16 foot wide road approximately 250 feet long over a pasture after spreading Mirafi GeoTextile. He also installed erosion control protection. The owner (Ted LaValley) worked his equipment like he was playing with toys, and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. He will be returning to backfill and trench for underground utilities, water and drainage when we are ready.
Description of Work: Cleared area fro move-in of 1922 house, excavated basement, prepared site to meet King County requirements, created construction site access road which will be removed later.
