Jack of All Trades

Excellent company. Jack is amazing, he is nice and friendly and he has a keen eye for design. He is a master craftsman and a perfectionist. Arrives every day on time and always show up, has a wonderful crew that he brings onto the project. I would highly recommend Jack of All Trades for any project, not just bathroom remodel. I was pleased with his work and the price and how quickly he got the project done!

Jack and his crew are fantastic. They’ve remodeled, painted and maintained multiple elements of our home’s interior and exterior, including installation of numerous custom lighting fixtures, cabinetry, roofing detail and deck installation and maintenance. I love that he’s independent and thoroughly human, and just a super sweet guy as well as a highly skilled pro. I’ve also seen his work at other people’s houses including beautiful stonework and full home restoration. I’m honestly not sure what Jack and company can’t do!

Jack and his crew are incredibly nice, knowledgeable, skilled, and easy to work with. They did a fantastic job, and were so respectful of our home! I hardly knew they were here half the time, they were so low-key. We had them do the baseboards and outer door frames on our living, dining, and hallway areas. We'd refinished the wood floors over the summer, and hadn't gotten around to painting and installing the new trim, and finally just realized we didn't want to do it ourselves, and hired it out. They completed the work yesterday, which was well in line with our agreements, and it turned out beautifully! I just walked down the hall, and said internally, "Wow, this looks so great." 😄 My partner said the same thing when he got home and inspected it. We're both impressed and pleased with it, and Isaac's attention to detail, and willingness to be super diligent for me, were highly valuable! We are already planning to hire them again, to do the trim in the kitchen, and replace a window in the garage that is broken. I highly recommend Jack, Isaac, and Josh.

We had an overflow drain issue with our bathtub which caused some drywall damage (along with the hole I made diagnosing the issue). Scott from Jack of All Trades did a great job repairing the plumbing, testing to make sure it was fixed and no other leaks existed, and repairing the drywall so it looked like it never happened. While he was at it we also tossed a few extra items from the honey-do list and they were fixed like it was nothing. You can tell these guys have a ton of experience, they knew all the tricks to fix everything far easier than I expected. I'd have them back to work on my house again without a second thought.

The workers were very friendly and professional. They arrived promptly and worked consistently throughout the day. The workers and the owner communicated well with us about the status of the work and made sure they understood what we wanted. We are very happy with the work that was completed.

Jack provided an estimate for the work that fit into my budget. Jack and his crew were friendly, informative, timely, and paid attention to detail. Jack adjusted his work schedule to my needs, and cleaned up at the end of each work day. I had most of my bathroom torn out and converted a 30" tub/shower unit into a 36" spa shower using the Kohler Tresham 60x36" unit with integral right hand seat, tile going up to the ceiling, shampoo cubby and rain glass shower doors. Also had tile flooring moving from the bathroom out into an L-shaped hallway, all smooth with no threshold. New 17" Kohler toilet, sinks, mirrors, hardware, lighting and heat/fan, Cambridge Quartz 8 ft vanity top, etc. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the communication. The bathroom and hallway look wonderful. And best of all, the cost did not exceed the estimate. We will be calling upon Jack for an estimate on a basement remodel shortly.

Jack and Josh are fantastic! Jack helped us out in a pinch installing a dog door before the weather became bad. Josh performed the work and really went the extra mile to be sure the job was done well, as we had a tricky door. I am so pleased we found Jack of all Trades, we will definitely use them again (and you should too)!

Smoothly with good attention to detail. Very happy with the results. Money well spent, as we got good value and enjoy our home much more now.

We have hired Jack before and decided to call him again when we needed to remodel. He is licensed, bonded and insured and does not use day layborers. He has a small group of employees that help him when needed. Very friendly and detail oriented people. Everything is cleaned up after the work is done. He sections off his work space so dust, debree, etc... doesn’t go into the rest of the house. Great guy to work with!

Jack climbed around in the attic and traced the problem to two plastic supply lines knocking together. No repair needed, he just secured the lines better. He charged us a nominal fee for the house call, so nominal that I felt he undercharged us, so I sent him off with a piece of homemade pie. So glad we found him. Had we called a specialty plumber it would have cost us at least 4 times as much just to walk in the door. He was clean, courteous, and very professional. We will definitely be calling him again.

Excellent! Our first Angie’s List experience and it couldn’t have gone better. Jack and his crew were personable, friendly, timely and did excellent work. We had originally booked them to paint the bathroom, but Jack asked us to give him a list of other things they could do while the paint was drying since we would be paying an hourly rate. Well, they got the entire list done and we were so impressed. We will be using them many times in the future, and it is without reservation that we give them our highest reservation.

Great, we are very satisfied with all the work and have asked Jack to take on an additional project.

He and his team were quick and hard working, focusing on the project and sharing progress along the way. They are also very pleasant and professional, a pleasure to work with. The best part was when Jack 'showed' the dogs how to use the dog door by demonstrating going in and out himself, they took to it right away. The dogs love their new dog run and everything is working perfectly. Thank you, Jack!!

We always know that Jack of All Trades will do an excellent job for us. Jack takes time to evaluate what needs to be done and determines the most cost effective way to get it done. Tanner does a great job doing a variety of things - consulting with Jack as needed. We appreciate the fine work that Jack and Tanner do for us.

Work was done well and both landlord and tenant were well pleased with Tanner's work and helpfulness. Jack does a great job of hiring good people to work with him and makes sure he supervises and advises each job.

Very well. Arrived on time with a helper carpenter. The two of them had the job done in 1 hr 15 min.

Jack is the best! He helped us with a few repair jobs in our home and we are scheduled for larger jobs later this year. He was very professional and knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. We are looking forward to working with Jack again, he's someone you can trust!
