Harveys Workshop

I was referred to Harvey by a friend of his who had performed some other work for me on three pieces of antique furniture. It took us a while to get together due to my schedule. I had several pieces of very old walnut that came out of the old Seattle courthouse many, many years ago that my father had stored.. I wanted a knick knack shelf built similar in design to one my mother had. I sent Harvey the pictures of the shelf from my brother, with dimensions included. We took the wood to his home, discussed the project, and agreed on a price. Two weeks later, we picked up the most beautiful knick knack shelf that will remind me of both of my parents every time I look at it. You may think this was expensive for this type of shelf, but honestly, there just are not many woodworkers in the Seattle area (good ones) that I would trust with this beautiful old wood (probably from the 1800s). There is a sentimental value to be sure, and I just couldn't be any happier!
