+ -1 moreThe salesperson called and wanted to work up a quote on the phone as they don't have local representation. Their installer is in another town just south of where we live. I detailed what we wanted and I asked for a bid. They were willing to provide a bid over the phone but when I asked for it in either email or mail via the U.S. postal service they said they don't have email and that if I wanted it in writing "it's no wonder you want a security system since you don't trust us." This is the first time I've run into a contractor/service provider who would not provide a written bid for work around the house. This is a definite red flag.
Description of Work: Replace home alarm system (4 doors, 13 windows, 3 motion sensors, 2 smoke detectors, panel, key fobs) with modern wireless alarm plus monitoring service.
