We were called by your insurance's Third Party Administrator (Codeblue) to inspect for water damage in your home. Upon our arrival you had a General contractor to provide the work. We inspected the loss and confirm that you had areas that were wet and dry-rotted. This was reported to them. After the initial inspection, it was also confirmed that you had asbestos materials where KCB was hired by your TPA to remove it. Between the contractor and the TPA, our involvement was non-existence. We all have the right to state their experience but truly important to state the facts as they are. Thank you,

Took 10 days of them running their blowers and dehumidifiers to remove the moisture. Very noisy equipment and lots of units all over the house, made it very hard to get around in the house.
Description of Work: Flooding damage to upper floor and ceiling on bottom floor. Company dried the water out of the floors and walls.

Cleaned Berber carpets that hadn't been cleaned in years. Taffy & gum from the previous occupant's children was scraped and removed by hand. Multiple old pet urine stains that the previous occupants had also left are now now longer visible. Set up large fans for several minutes to accelerate drying. Tech was very friendly, asked if there were any other areas needing to be done before leaving. Very thorough job.
Description of Work: Cleaned heavily soiled Berber carpets.

On Nov 1st, we found it raining in the kitchen. Our sons upstairs bathroom had sprung a leak, and in the matter of a couple hours, it folded our downstairs kitchen. Our insurance sent FIREWATER to our house to dry it out. They worked on it for over a week, and when finished, the plastic they had put down over the carpet and wood floor caused damage. The plastic was supposed to protect from footprints, etc, but with the drying units in, the plastic stuck to the wood floors, ripping off the finish. I called the owner of the company, George, and he was RUDE, blamed everyone but himself, and wanted to tell me how things were going to be taken care of. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANYand lt; OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I will not be surprised if this turned into a court battle. We got the three estimates for repairs, but they wanted to fix it themselves. I refused to allow them to enter our house, so we will see what happens. Either way.....the lack of professionalism, and level of care taken in our home, shows me that it is common practice, and they are NOT to be used.

Thank you for your inquiry... We respect your opinion as we will and have always concluded with the fact that we placed the floor protection. In our attempt to show that we care about the service/property, we fell short. This was a product that was sold to us by our vendor to not only be used on carpet as well hard surfaces. We have brought these issues to the vendor and have modified our business practices. In regards to the estimate. The estimates submitted to us came in June 9th and we replies with the our intent the same day. The only reason we suggested to be bill directly was due to avoiding the insured the taxes on the proceed paid. If the insures wants the proceeds, all we need is a w9 and we issue payment. IF there is a vendor, the same would apply. This is an IRS requirement and not in our control. I have attached a link for the ease of settling this claim. www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf Just to clarify any misunderstanding, we have never disputed that we were responsible for the refinishing the floors. The insured is the one that wanted to go through the insurance company and now June 11th if the first we hear about the insures intention. All of these issues could have been easy handled if the insure would just pickup the phone and call us/or even emailed. If the insures feels that the owner/me was rude, for that I am sorry. Sometimes inflections over the phone are not always the intent. Thank you, George
