Rob is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The painting and finishing job was very detailed and he was meticulous and precise in his work. No blemishes where natural finishing of oak features meet painted posts or walls. Painting and finishing a finely crafted staircase and handrail system is not for the feint of heart. The sharp lines were amazing. Rob was worth every penny. We are extremely happy with the overall product. Rob backs his work and revisited our home to correct for some scratches and scuffs created by another company that put down new carpeting on the stairs. He did not need to do this and did so at no charge. His concern was with the overall product and for that I highly recommend Finishline Paint LLC.

Rob did an outstanding job on the bench. Initial contact with Rob was very easy, he was prompt in his replies and arrived on time to pick up the bench. He provided a detailed overview of how he was going to refinish the bench and provided us with several options on how to further improve the longevity of the bench. He did outstanding work and went above and beyond his commitment to refinish the bench. The results are fantastic! Rob even delivered and helped install the bench at its new location at our children's school. We were thoroughly impressed with Rob's professionalism and quality of work and would use him again for any project!

Rob was great. I had quite the long road finding someone to do the work my living room needed. I had estimates all over the map and knew it was going to be fussy work. I was worried that the cheapest estimations were not really understanding what needed to be done and the most expensive were used to such high end clients that wanted historic level restoration. Rob quickly established the balance of quality and price I wanted and was pleasant and professional to work with. He also was non-defensive and responsive when I pointed out a missed spot or a drip. My trim work has been brought back to looking crisp and uniform (there is a lot of it, it is an old craftsman house). And he finished my long neglected front door repaint.

Finishline Paint was recommended to me by a designer. Rob worked on a large number of projects in my home for over a year. He is a painter, but also refinishes furniture, hangs wall paper and can install inserts into closet doors. He was always professional. He is highly skilled and can contribute to design work as well as paint decisions. His estimates were accurate. He was prompt. His fees are not a bargain, but he is worth the money. His work is unbelievably good. I recommend him without reservation.

Rob was referred to us and we could not have been more pleased with his work! During the bid process, he was very attentive to what we wanted as well as offering some ideas of his own. He has a good eye for details and brought up many things that helped with the finer points of the job - ensuring that we both had a clear vision of what was to be done. As the work progressed, Rob did a very good job in protecting items - hanging plastic to contain any over-spray;, masking and papering previously painted areas; and covering existing carpet/wood floors. Finally, the results were excellent and Rob's quality of work was apparent for both the staining and finishing and the painting. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows! Rob's work is outstanding and we would definitely use him again as well as highly recommend him.

It went great. The painter came in and gave me a quote. I received several quotes and I thought he was the best in terms of quality, attention to detail, timeliness and communication. He really was fantastic. I like the fact that he had an eye for detail and always a quality work. He reviewed the work of the prior day and whenever I had an issue with it, he would redo it with no incremental charge. He showed up on time. I like his professionalism.

Rob's recommendation to use oil based paint made sense, and the finished job is beautiful. We wanted the handrails to have a clear stain but with a little more golden color to match our kitchen cabinets which were installed 3 years earlier. A "rougher" sanding allowed the stain to penetrate deeper into the handrails which produced the exact look and hue we wanted. He's very knowledgeable, explained how and when everything was going to be done. He generously passed on how-to do it yourself information so we'd feel comfortable doing small jobs for ourselves. We will be hiring Rob to paint the exterior of our home.
