D & L Gutters

Dave and his crew installed the missing elbow joints, not only on the side of the house where the gutters overflowed, but also on the other side of the house where the elbow was also missing. The roof is very steep and I never would have noticed this problem if Dave hadn't walked around the house with me and walked far enough away from the house to see this part of the roof. Small fix, but very important!

Dave was able to respond the same week, and came prepared to fix the clogged gutter. He also had great recommendations should the problem happen again.

The installation was very good. The job took 2 days.

It was excellent. They came out pretty prompt and did it. They were on time. They did a good work.

I called for an estimate the Thursday before. Dave came that same day and gave me a quote. I was able to be scheduled the next Monday. Dave came by 8:30am and was finished by 4:00. It turned out great, and was very satisfied by the time frame and price.I would recommend D and L Gutters

I bought a coupon for $99. The total repair cost an additional $350. A little higher than I expected but not unreasonable for the work. I wasn't there when they did the work and there were a couple of things I would've like d to address. I wish there was an opportunity to discuss the finished work. Having said this I was satisfied with the quality of work as well as the cost.

This turned out ok. The communication was easy with the company. They replaced two gutter sections. However, I had to pay taxes for the big deal cost. I also tried to call him to pay the bill but his mom called and said to call back the following Tuesday. He ended up calling me about a week later to take credit card over the phone. He sent a receipt of the charge.

It went very well. They were very professional and they showed up when they said they were going to. They sent someone out to look at the project and walk it with me when they said they were going to.

Service was great. Left a message and received a call back right away. I had my measurements ready, gave them over the phone, explained what I was looking for and got a quote on the phone. Work was done done on time and looks great. High quality product and high quality craftsmanship . Wish I would have just had them replace all of our gutters. Sent a picture of our trim and they matched the color for me. Will use D & L Gutters again.

It appears that he did seal up the two corners in our gutters that we knew were leaking. To my knowledge, he did nothing else. My husband spoke with him about the work, and he said, 'Well your wife only the two corners sealed.' I had expected him to repair/seal the existing leaks, check the general condition of the gutter system, and specifically to check for any damage from the existing leaks. He told me during our initial conversation that all of these things could be taken of for the $99 Big Deal price. It hasn't really rained very hard since he did the work, so I can't really judge the quality at this point. He also threw in a additional and extra charge for the sales tax from the Big Deal purchase, this was $9.00. I don't feel like he did a whole lot of work for the $99 we paid. It seems his main concern is getting the most amount of money for the least amount of work!

Dave arrived on time to look at the job, gave proposal of what he thought would be the best solution and provided a bid. About 2 weeks later his staff performed the work. One guy, alone! But he did a great job. We have a two story home on the street side and 3 stories on the back of the house. Dave had a palette of colors from which to choose and we were able to come very close to matching the trim color on the house. Excellent work, done on time and at the quoted price. I plan to use Dave later this spring to replace the gutters on a rental home, as well.

It went well. He came out had a look, gave me a price, did the work soon after and did a good job.

Dave came out to look at the job and give us an estimate before proceeding with the repairs. He then returned and made them to our satisfaction for less than the estimate.

The gutters look great. There was one small area that the worker forgot to replace. I notified the company and the worker came out within a day or two. The work was prompt and my very brief contact with the installer was pleasant and efficient. My only complaint is that I would have liked a little more specific information about which parts were replaced (both gutters and drainage spouts) and which were repaired. The installer was in and out quickly. I had expected a bit more explanation after the work was done, but realize as I write this, that I will need to specifically ask these questions.

Dave was responsive, quick and efficient. He went above and beyond by making sure our gutters were all in working order by cleaning a couple out, adding an elbow (not what he was hired for) and making sure the existing gutter he was tying into was in working order. I would definitely hire again.

Dave, the owner, was great. looked into how he could help me, but we realized he didn't carry the product I needed, so even though he had spent the time to come out to my house, he graciously agreed that the deal was not a good "deal" for me.

Did a fine job, came when they said they would, and explained the process very well. They even installed gutter shoes at no extra cost. When I wasn't happy with one of the direction of the bend in the bottom of one of the gutters, they came back right away and installed a different one, also at no cost. Very responsive and I would use them again.

The installer showed up on time and was very personable. He was dilegent, listened to my input, and did a great job.

Added second story to house. D & L was the sub for the gutters. Jeff is their main guy, and is quick and efficient. Had him come back after fall leaves and fir needles clogged up downspouts. Dave agreed to a fair price, and Jeff did the work. Very efficient operation.

It went well. David is a cool guy. Nothing bad to say, I just wanted the work done a different way. Other than that everything was fine.

D &L made the whole process quick and easy. They explained what they would do, modified the ends of the roof for optimum gutter functioning and completed the installation in under 4 hours. The sound of water running through the gutters and downspouts rather than cascading over the roof edge during recent thunderstorms was music to my ears!

Called D & L for an estimate on some gutter repair work on a Saturday and to ask solution about water dripping all over our front porch from the gutters above. Originally said he would be here in an hour, however, after a second call to see if he was still coming after a few hours, he did show up within the hour. He gave a solution for our water on the porch problem and looked at the other areas of leakage and gave us an estimate of $400. He wrote the amount on the back of a business card and in the future I would recommend he write everything he is going to do on paper (just so you have it to refer to and don't have to rely on memory of what he said he would do). After agreeing to the work, he said his partner or him would be here next week but didn't give us a day, he just said he would call. He did call mid week and said his worker will be there to do the work and I said that I wouldn't be there, but he didn't have a problem with that and said he could bill me. When I got home from work, Jeff (I think that was his name) ended up coming by to seal one more area of gutter and he showed me what he did and assurred me I wouldn't have anymore leaks on the porch or other areas. I paid him. The next morning I noticed the porch was more wet than before the work was done and could see the water was dripping between the gutter and the house. I called Dave and he said he would take a look or send Jeff back. Jeff called me at work and said he devised a new plan for the front gutter and assured me it would fix the problem and I agreed after he assured me it wouldn't cost anymore money. So far the solution and gutter repair seems to be okay. I haven't heard back from them to see if it fixed the problem, but I guess they figure if I don't call back then all is good. I didn't get a second opinion or estimate because of the good reviews from Angie's list and because we used them a long time ago on our old house, but in the future I probably would get another one because the price seemed a little high

The work was accomplished quickly and smoothly and we are very happy with the results. D&L is obviously a professional outfit and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again myself.

Theirs was not the lowest estimate but I had more confidence that the job would be done professionally and that the gutter covers - for the second story runs only - would do a decent job of keeping leaves and other detritis out for a while. My roof line is rather difficult and complex with more 90-degree and 45-degree corners than most homes. By agreement, I tore off all the first story gutters to save some money but left the upper runs for them to remove. In their estimate, they detailed what gutter removal and take-away costs would be. Jeff was the workman assigned to my job and it took a day and a half for him to complete the job. He was punctual, professional, pleasant, personable, and quietly did exactly what was required. After explaining what I wanted done, he understood and accomplished the job efficiently and effectively. The only minor concern was that there was damage done to one of my solar path lights, but I accept that I should have removed them prior to the start of the job to preclude damage. I like the end result and am looking forward to the rainy season to test the new downspout configuration's effectiveness. I'm pleased with the job D&L did and would recommend them.
