Mike Hershberger did an excellent job. He went above and beyond. He was so nice.

We were on vacation when the work was performed and they were professional and tidy while doing the task. The only thing we noticed when we got home was that we had a beautifully painted home that sparkled and shined! I would hire them again in an instant.

Mike kept me updated as well as possible regarding weather scheduling, and job was perfectly fit in at an opportune time in early October. Elmer and his crew did a great, professional and efficient job and even did some extra work when I realized that I could not do it myself. Hats off to their patience and flexibility completing a great job.

My experience with CertaPro Painters of Renton Kent was excellent. The exterior of my two-story house hadn?t been painted in about 16 years and was badly in need of painting. I called on a Thursday afternoon to schedule an appointment and Mike Hershberger, the owner, came out the following Tuesday afternoon right on time. He did a walk-around of the house, took some measurements and discussed paint types with me. He then emailed me a quote the next day. Mike recommended satin-finish paint over the flat finish, as the satin holds up better against the elements (especially the sun). He also provided us with the addresses of a few local homes he?d painted with the satin finish so that we could see the look. Once we accepted Mike?s bid we were tentatively scheduled about three weeks out (mid-October). The crew, consisting of Elmer (crew chief), Mario and a few others, did a great job. They spent the first day power-washing the whole house. After waiting a day for the house to dry they spent another day doing a lot of scraping, priming, caulking and taping off area by windows, trim, etc. Working around some rainy weather they got the house fully painted in about two and a half days. While doing the prep work Elmer?s crew had discovered a trim board by the front window that had some rot and needed to be replaced. Mike does employ a carpenter for this purpose so that replacement was quickly taken care of. Elmer and his crew did an excellent job on the house, always keeping us apprised of their progress. They cleaned up everything each day after finishing for the day. Elmer told me that if we noticed any problems in the future to call him immediately. Mike also provides a two year warranty on the workmanship. We felt very lucky that Mike was able to get the job taken care of as late in the ?season? as it was. As it turned out, our house was the second to last one that they painted this year. I would definitely recommend CertaPro Painters of Renton Kent to anyone needing their house?s exterior painted.

Job well done! Cleaned exterior of house, removed loose paint, and caulked cracks where needed. Removed all exterior attachments and taped windows. Painted house exterior and gutters to match trim color. Completed 2 coats. Re-attached exterior attachments and cleaned up around house. The crew were hard working with attention to details. The crew are professional, courteous and thorough.

Mike was great to work with. I had a few questions aster the crew left, and he was able to address everything to my satisfaction.

Mike was great from start to finish. We got quotes from other painters but decided on CertaPro because they offered a color consultation prior to painting. My husband and I were unsure of how to choose a color for our home and found that very valuable. When the crew came out to wash/paint they were all very friendly and courteous. Staying until 6pm to talk with me before they wrapped up each day. Olben was the Lead on the job and he was very professional. The attention to detail is phenonomal. There were a couple minor things we noticed a couple days after they finished and Mike had the crew come out and fix them right away! Very, very pleased with the service! Very prompt when contacted and responsive. Scheduled and came out very quickly to view house and provide quote. Detailed about what services they would perform and all that entailed. Were great about a follow up conversation going over details of the contract prior to signing. Crew was nice and professional, and were there when they said they would be. Said they would have entire job done in 2 days. Power-washed, prepped, and painted and trimmed and fully painted all the exterior and trim of our house. Done in 2 days. Came back to do a few touch ups as soon as we requested it and left us all the remaining paint. Great experience and we would recommend them.

The painting crew was diligent and respectful. The project was begun and completed on schedule and the house looked great. The price was right and we were able to pay 6 months later without interest, which meant we could pay for the job after the house was sold.

We had recommendations from friends and saw good ratings on Angies List, so we called for an estimate. Mike came out the next day. He was very professional and gave us a reasonable estimate, so we scheduled the work. The crew came out the week before and pressure washed the house. The week of painting had some wet weather, but Mike kept us informed as to when the job would start. The crew began prepping late one afternoon, and finished the job the next day. They did scraping, caulking, and two coats of paint with brushing between coats. They came by the next morning for a walkaround to make sure nothing was missed. Overall, it was a great job from start to finish.

Mike was very responsive and professional throughout the process. His business model is one of having a network of painters who perform the actual work. Your mileage may vary depending on what crew gets assigned to your home. We had some issues with the original crew, but at the end of the day, Mike ensured the job was completed to his and our satisfaction (by bringing in another crew to correct issues left behind by the original crew). I would hire Mike again.

The owner, Mike, was very friendly and knowledgable. He came out to the house to provide a quote and answer questions. He was very patient as we waited for approval from the association. The painters were respectful, making sure to take off shoes when coming into the house. The only mishap we had was that the painters placed the hose and nozzle back on and cleaned their equipment, but failed to turn off the water. Unfortunately for us we didn't figure it out until the next morning when we heard the water spraying from our broken nozzle. Mike reminded his busy to make sure that they turned all the water off when finished. We really appreciated Mike's time, knowledge and patience as we waited for an OK to start the paint job.

Contract stated he would paint two coats of paint on everything. He did not. Contract stated: "Peeling areas on your home will be scraped back to a firm edge and then primed with bonding primer." He did neither. The deck, railing, and front door all had peeling paint. The gouges and peeling paint are still quite visible, since he just painted over the top of them.

Very patient and considerate when explaining all details and answering all my questions in advance and throughout the job. Great communication. Great quality work, Thorough walk-through to be sure everything was right. Written two-year warranty against peeling. We have recommended them to many neighbors.

Mike and Jose of CertaPro painters were superb and exceeded my expectations. Mike gave us a fair and reasonable estimate for our work, and the crew was prompt, attentive, professional and did a great job. The house was cleaned and washed prior to start of the painting, and the crew cleaned and placed everything back when they completed the job. Mike was exceptionally responsive to our needs, especially when one color for trim work was not exactly right. He worked with us to make sure we got the right color, and the crew did an outstanding job of painting. We were so very happy with the finished product, and would use them again woot hesitation. I thought it was reasonable. I have a big house. I liked everything about them. They came quickly and they did it quickly. They said it will be 2 days but they got it done in a day. They did 2 coats of paint. They were very good. They were very professional. I did not have anything to clean up afterwards. They did not make a mess and they did not damage any of my plants. I had several other quotes and I thought they were reasonable. I did not have any trouble with them at all. I thought they were great. They were here on time.

They were very punctual and professional. They were very reasonably priced. They told me to call them back when it was warmer out so they can come out and perform the service. They met with me very quickly after I called them. They came out and surveyed the house. They got the quote back to me on the same day and they made some good suggestions, recommended that I hire a carpenter to do some minor repair before they painted.

Mike was awesome! We are so thrilled to have found him. He was always available when we had questions- provided us with proper estimates and the job got done extremely quickly. Joe (the painter) is a really nice guy and easy going! He was clean, detailed and took his time to ensure the work was quality. Mike was competitive in his pricing and out priced every other painter I spoke with. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Our house was due for a paint job after replacement of the deck and front porch. I contacted three Angies listed painters for bids. CertaPro Renton, was the easiest to schedule, provided the most detailed bid, and the lowest cost. With their excellent reviews on Angies list we awarded them the job. Part of the bid included one hour of consult with a color consultant. Spouse used this service and was very pleased with the advice received regarding color choice for the house and trim. The crew was on time and professional completing the job in two days. They pressure washed and prepped the house in an afternoon, let it dry out for a couple days, then returned and took two days to repaint the house and trim. Two coats of paint were applied to the house and the trim. We also had them paint three doors, two of which had small window panes. This was all done expertly and with attention to detail. They cleaned up and left no trace of their presence. They also left us with a gallon of each color of paint the used for future touch up work, since we had new gutters and downspouts being installed after the painting was complete. This was a great experience and I highly recommend CertaPro Renton if you are in their franchise area.

Mike provided a excellent explanation of what to expect during the painting process and provided a competitive estimate. Mike always kept me informed of when the painters would be working and the paint crew was always on time. The prep was very thorough, the painting went well and the cleanup was complete. Mike provided what we thought was a fair quote. The painters arrived on time and went to work directly, quietly and were very focused. They were finishing a job at the house next door as well, but it did not take them off task at my house. They moved the washer and dryer, they painted to accommodate the shelving in both the closet and laundry room. Holes were patched, lines were straight, the job was very well done. We will need our exterior trim done next, and I will call CertaPro for a quote. It was a small job, but I had opportunity to see their work firsthand in the house next to mine. I think quality is their trademark.

Awesome job. The house next door was having their house painted at the same time by another contractor. The owner came over twice to talk to me to compliment the job done by Certarpo. He said it was way above industry average. I was really impressed by my front doors as they look like a gloss auto paint job. Not sure how you get a latex paint to go on so smooth and glossy. |I will be using them for my interior paint when it's time.
