Excellent. The owner is a friendly man who knows his stuff and charges a fair amount. The workers came a week or so later and also were very knowledgeable. They worked for about two and a half hours with every worker working as part of a well-oiled machine. It was impressive. They took every safety precaution while performing quickly and expertly. They also did a great job of cleaning up. This is a fine company

Didn't even return 2 phone calls for them to take care of my request. Bad service and not professional st all.

Timely communication and arrived at appointed time. Work completed but left a little messy and stumps for partial hedge removed left... It was not specified at time of contract so shame on me. Quick service. Good communication

Don't waste your time with this company. I had a scheduled appointment to meet for an estimate and no one showed up. I tried twice to reach the company while I was waiting for him, and the call went unanswered and no one called back. Just another bad contractor it seems.

Guys were professional & efficient. We have used this company more than once.

The Bushman crew showed up on the promised day and took care of all the tree trimming in just a couple hours. They did a great job taking down large limbs without hitting my home or fence. They were careful not to over prune the trees in my garden. Everything looks great; I'm really happy with their work. They even brought a chipper to take care of the cut branches.

It went very well. They did what they said they were going to do and my tree looks great so far. I hope I get cherries next year. Even if I don't the tree looks much. They guys that came and did the work were friendly and perfessional

I'll never know as Mark from Bushman didn't show up for our scheduled appointment on a Saturday morning. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called the following week. He said "i'm driving right now can I call you back?" I said "of course" b/c this had happened when I first contacted him and he called me right back. Well, this time he didn't call back. I called him the next day (again, giving benefit of the doubt - we all get busy). he again was driving and said he'd call back. Guess what - no call back. 3rd day I called and left a voice mail asking him if he could at least do me the courtesy of letting me know he wasn't interested in my job or that he was too busy. Guess what? no call back. Mark came personally recommended from a community site by several people, and with great ratings here on Angie's list, I had high hopes. Guess it was too good to be true :-(

They did a wonderful job. I actually tried Bushman because of a horrible previous experience, and Bushman was the exact opposite with stellar work. Not only did they clean up the poorly ground stump done by the other company, they also did all the work I mentioned and did a fabulous job cleaning up my yard. I'm going to have them come back and grind up a few more stumps once I have the time.

Great. Completed the work and cleaned up quickly. They were sure to check with us to make sure they were doing exactly what we wanted.

The team was amazing! Hats off to Mark, Virgil, Rob, and Jeff. They were professional, on time, courteous, and did a great job cleaning up after the job. I would highly recommend their services.

This is my second time using Bushman Tree Service. It went well again. They were on time and good to work with. The hedge looks great, and the rhododendrons look superb. They cleaned up all of the branches and trimmings nicely. We've had two neighbors ask for their name so they can use them.

I called Mark on Friday, he came by Saturday morning to provide and bid and did the job the following Monday. He had a crew of 5 and they completed the job within 2 hours. They were amazingly fast, thorough and did an excellent job. The crew was friendly and very easy to work with. Mark's price came in a little under than a previous bid I had that was going to take two months to get to. After reading all of the other reviews I would agree with the folks that had nothing but a positive experience with Mark and his team. I will use them to do annual pruning of my trees and laurels.

Promptly came out and provided a competitive bid. They were able to start work much sooner than all the other companies that provided bids. The work was completed in one day and everything was as expected. Professional crew that cleaned up mess that wasn't even their doing! Would recommend/use again.

I got three bids from companies with excellent ratings on Angle's List. Bushman's bid was the lowest, and they could do the work immediately, so I accepted that bid. The team came on time, the work went very quickly, and they left the chips in a neat pile on one side of my driveway so I could use them for mulch. The yard looks so much better.

Mark and his crew were prompt, professional and communicative. They did a perfect job. They cleaned everything up and were careful not to destroy the lawn where the tree was being taken down. Prior to the service, Mark asked for a drawing of my drain field making sure not to damage my lines. Other bidders never thought of that, and neither did I. I'm glad he was thinking ahead.

They showed up right on time with a 5 man crew and two trucks. Took down a tree that had fallen into another tree and was leaning over the house without causing any damage. Cleaned everything up. Did some other minor trimming as requested.

Bushman responded quickly, especially considering there were heavy winds and I am sure trees were falling all over. The crew of six guys (two truck, wood chipper, etc.) made short work of the fallen tree and cleanup. Great job, cheerful folks, fast, fast, fast. We booked them to come back for other tree work we need. They arrived promptly for that work also, and did a quick professional job.

Called Mark on a Friday afternoon and he asked if he could come on Saturday to give the quote. He arrived right on time and the quote was very reasonable. He said he would be there on Tuesday. He arrived on Tuesday with a two man crew in addition to himself and soon had the trees down. These trees were very tall with no other way to fall other than on our house. The crew soon had all the debris cleaned up and the yard raked. I was impressed with their safety and the quality of their equipment. Mark also discussed the condition of other trees. I got a good feeling that he did not just recommend removing them to have more business but rather discussed what he would do "if they were mine." I completely trust his judgement.

Mark and his crew are THE BEST. His crew came out a couple of weeks ago and did some work on a plum tree that was threatening our fence - it was awesome and very reasonably priced. Then, a storm hit and we lost a limb of a pine and some of a dogwood (that Mark's crew had warned me about last summer - I should have listened!!!). I called in the morning, Mark called me back immediately, and his crew was there in the afternoon to take care of it. Again, reasonably priced! I probably see too much of Mark and his crew because I don't listen to their advice about potentially troublesome trees on my lot, but they graciously, quickly, and reasonably take care of it when I screw up (grin).

I called him back, and again, I was maybe not quite as happy the second time because there was like a, I mean he did great, but as far as coming back to catch a branch, dead branch that was still hanging, I just felt it was really hard to get him back since he's so busy. It was definitely before summer when they did the work. The intent was to keep the tree from blowing into the gutter of the townhouse. I think they do a good job. I would definitely recommend them. It seemed more expensive than the first time. I thought they did a good job, like I said there was that one remaining dead branch that was accidentally left and I was concerned about although it wasn't a big branch, it wasn't that, like heavy but I wouldn't want it to come down. They were very responsive for taking the job in a hurry but it was more difficult to get them to come back to do the job. Showing up for the job they're excellent at. I would price out and look at others. I wouldn't, I'm not saying no, but I would be more informed of other service people/providers before I made that decision. It is likely that I would but I would do so after seeking more information.

I have used them in the past with no problems. This time they stood me up for the quote with no call. I phoned to reschedule and they never returned my call but did stop by when I was not home to do a bid. Because of my past positive experience, I went ahead a scheduled the work. On the day the crew was supposed to show up at 8am, no one had arrived. At 10am I finally got hold of the owner. He said two people called in sick (why didn't he call at 8am?) and he might get here in the afternoon. He never arrived. He never called in the evening to reschedule as he said he would. I believe they took on other jobs after the windstorm and blew me off. I am done with this company.

Initially, I wanted the tree removed entirely, but Mark talked me out of it, even though it presumably would have been more money to them if they removed it. He convinced me that it was a nice tree, but it just needed some work to get it cleaned up and out from over the house. He came out promptly and gave me a very reasonable quote. Some other things came up, so I couldn't do the work right then, but he nevertheless honored his quote when I called back several months later. His crew was timely and very efficient, and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. They did a great job navigating around some power lines and such. The tree now looks great, and clearing out all those branches definitely improved the house's look and light in that corner. Plus, I now don't have to worry about limbs on the roof or needles clogging my drains! I would definitely call Mark again if (more like when) I need tree work. They did a fantastic job!

Showed up for estimate within 1 day of contact on Angie's list. Price was competitive with other estimates. Schedule the work for the next day. Showed up on time and work was done per the estimate. Very professional. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future should the need arise.
