Both jobs were performed on time and exactly as Mark stated. In first job on neighbors' properties, access was a challenge and we were especially concerned not to disturb our neighbors. Bushman's people were careful, thorough, and cleaned up beautifully. They kept coming up to our deck to consult with us and make sure they were trimming where we needed them too. Cost of the first job was approximately $750. The second job involved a cherry picker, a worker high in each sequoia tree and a crew of about six to clear and chip the lowered limbs. They were extremely careful, didn't damage any of the shrubbery or other vegetation at the base of the trees, and cleaned up thoroughly. They were here all day long. All crew members were very pleasant to have around.

Mark was extremely responsive. Called back right away. Was able to meet us at a mutually agreeable time for an estimate. Estimate was very fair and reasonable. Brought a crew of 5 workers to do the job in little more than half a day.Cut wood into fireplace size logs as requested. Yes, would hire again. Very professional.

They showed up just a little before 8:00 am yesterday with a crew of 4 and a towed chipper and tools. They first asked a few questions and then started by climbing up the interior of the trees cutting out all of the dead branches. Then they started selectively thinning out the trees and cut back the branches overhanging the roof. It was amazing to watch. When it was near completion I took a walk around and wondered in a couple of places why they left the branches. Then I realized that they were strategically left. A couple provided critical shade for our hosta collection. Another provided screening from the street, but still let in the light. Finally, I wondered why they didn't cut back the branches over the roof more. They cut them back so they're not overhanging, but a foot or so away. They explained that you can't cut them back much more all at once or it would kill the long branches. In a couple of years a quick trim could then cut them back further. It literallly transformed our street side usability and light. Each time, including this morning, that I look around I find yet another place here and there where they used judgement of where to cut and where to leave some. They cleaned everything up looking better than when they arrived. I got a ballpark estimate for some apple trees on our lower yard for a future removal. They're on a steep slope where we can't trim or even get to the apples. Several neighbors were seen looking with amazement. The whole time they were here you could hear a cheerful banter yelling instructions back and forth, which initially drew the neighbors attention. They're one of the best scores I've found on Angie's List in years. They're a local company as well, which I loved. They had over 75 top ratings by local customers in just the past year.

I called Mark to give me an estimate and his recommendation what to do with the trees in my yard. They were so overgrown they were crowding my backyard and preventing much light from getting in. I was even considering taking some of them out completely. Mark responded right away and gave me his recommendation to keep the trees but just trim them up. His bid was quite a bit less than another bid I received. When I called to schedule the service, he was able to come the next morning. When he arrived, we went through the plan for cutting them back. I asked him not to be "stingy" in his pruning so we talked further about what I was expecting. We agreed to go all the way to the tops of the trees and clear out the "dead stuff" along with taking off more at the bottom. It cost me a few hundred more than the estimate but it was worth it. The guys did a great job and I really appreciate Mark's suggestions and effort to make sure I was happy. The rest of my landscaping was still intact when I got home. Even the artichoke growing under the tree was still growing. I highly recommend Mark and Bushman's Tree Service. I would definitely call them again.

We're very happy that we decided to hire this company. The crew was awesome! They arrived promptly at 8am on the day scheduled for the work and got to work immediately. They were very professional in completing the job. The four fir trees that were being taken down were located very close to our neighbor's house and there isn't much space between our house and theirs. These were very large trees; a couple of them were at least 70 feet tall. We were a little concerned about how the job would be completed, but everything went perfectly.. It was amazing to watch the crew cut the trees down. They made sure that there would be no damage to the fence, the lawn and the pavement. The branches were all shredded, but we wanted to keep the trunks of the trees for fire wood. The crew cut-up the wood in 16-18 foot sections as specified and moved them to the back yard where we could stacked them. We also had the fifth tree trimmed and cleaned up. It looks so much better now. Before leaving the crew cleaned the wood chips off the neighbor's roof, both our driveways and lawn. They even cleaned the street in front of our houses. They did a super job and we highly recommend them!

These guys are truly professional tree removers. They removed a 100 foot tall double trunk birch tree from my front yard, and ground the stump. This was a big tree. This tree was in a very difficult spot to remove. It was right next to my house, and just a few feet from my main electrical line coming from the power pole. Oh, it was just a few feet from the power lines out on the street. I can't tell you how carefull they had to be to do this job without damaging my house, taking out my main line, or taking out the power to the rest of the neighborhood. They placed every limb exactly where they wanted them to fall. I highly recommend these guys for any tree service. I will use them again in the future for all my tree removal needs. They cleaned up the job site too. They blow off my roof, bushes, walkway, and driveway. They started at 8am and were done by 3pm. If you have a dangerous or difficult tree to remove, these guys can do it, and do it right.

I called Mark on a Monday to have him give me a quote to remove three trees. Mark was out the next day to quote the job. The quote included cutting down the trees, grinding the stumps down far enough to plant grass and clean up. The job was scheduled two days on Thursday. I asked Mark if I could leave a check or pay a deposit up front. Mark said no. No payment until the job was done and we were completely satisfied. When I came home at 1:00 pm to see the progress I can say I was 100% satisfied. Mark did a fabulous job. You would never have known that 6 hours earlier we had trees. The clean up was fabulous. I would recommend Mark and his company Bushman Tree Service to anyone who needed tree service. Thanks again Mark.

Everything went well. Later on, however, I found that the roots of the removed trees were so tough and had some difficulties to dig holes to plant new trees(fruits).

Mark came out to quote the work. I asked his advice and he thought I should take out both trees. I wasn't ready to take down both so he quoted it both ways. Mark and his crew called and were able to come earlier then planned which was fine with me. They worked efficiently as a team to take down the first tree and shred the branches. Mark asked me again if I wanted the second tree taken down but he did not pressure me in any way. I said no and he proceeded to trim the second tree while the first tree stump was ground down. I had final approval on the shape of the tree. I declined the trunk for firewood and they took the stumps away and cleaned up the landscape area, driveway, and street. All three of them were friendly but professional.

They were very good, i would use them again!!!!!!!

Overall, I have rarely experienced this lack of professionalism. I am a pretty sympathetic person, but if I don't even get a call, then there is no room for me to forgive.

The first bid we received was $1600. The second was $1450. Mark with Bushman bid $800 flat for the hedge removal. We checked Angies List, saw his feedback was good and we hired him. They arrived on time the very next morning (8:00 AM) and they had the hedge removed, stumps ground, and completely chipped by 10:00. He asked if I had any other needs. I had a small tree which needed removed and another huge (probably 20 feet high) stalk of holly which was on the South part of my property. He said for $1100 he would do the additional. I agreed, and he had it done in another hour & a half. It was a total of $1200 (including the tax) for a HUGE amount of work. The big holly tree in particular I'd had people look at previously who simply refused to deal with it. (It had old, ancient wisteria choking it all over). This was a miserable job, and the crew was cheerful, quick and the bid was really competitive. Not only would I use them again, but I would (and have!) recommend them to anyone who cares.

Mark was very thorough in his assessment, displayed professionalism and competence and was very personable. He was a top contender for the job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

They did an excellent job of trimming three trees and also offered honest advice on other landscaping work that needs to be done.

Bushman's pricing for cutting and removing 13 trees was very competitive. Very professional during their job and cleaned up the yard as good as cold be expected. No complaints and would absolutely use them again or recommend them to friends and family

After a major ice storm in January, there was significant damage to many of the trees on the property. After doing the clean up we could ourselves, the Bushman Tree Service removed many hanging tree limbs, wind sailed a number of damaged trees, removed several dangerous trees, ground the stumps, and cut back tree limbs overhanging the property fence line. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up after their work. I would definitely use this service again.

The crew was arriving by 7:45 a.m. and at work by the 8 a.m. start time. They were professional, caring, thorough and hard-working. They worked together well. They were concerned that I was approving of what they did, for example, where and how they stacked the wood, if the tree was cleaned up appropriately, etc. Conscientious and left area meticulously cleaned up. Finished by shortly after 1 p.m.

Overall, they were fast, efficient, and professional.

I called Bushman Tree Service in the AM and Mark came by in just a few hours (exactly when he said he would), was professional, and walked me through their services/options. His bid seemed reasonable and around what the other bids were. Wound up going with another company, but Bushman's seems like a good company to deal with

Mark was able to give me a quote the day after I called and due to some flexibility in his schedule that week was able to do the work the very next day. Arrived on time with a crew of five (or more?) and did a great job. Took about 6 or 7 hours. Tree pieces were chipped and everything was cleaned up nicely when they departed.

Mark returned my call the same day. He made an appointment to come see the work I wanted done quickly. He gave me an estimate on the spot, in writing. I checked with two other companies. Mark's estimate was a little higher but I liked his professionalism and felt he would give me exactly the service I wanted. I was away from my house when the tree was removed and the other trees trimmed. I came back to a neat front yard and no tree. Through out the process, Mark was responsive and professional. All limbs, leaves, pine needles and such were removed and the stump was nicely covered. He and his team did a very nice job from start to finish.
