Blue Ribbon Tree & Landscape

Andy was prompt and seemed very knowledgeable. I liked his ideas and his price, but ultimately we decided to put off work on our yard for a bit longer.

Great. Trees were just inside my property line and one partially overhung neighbors house. They managed to get them down without hitting house and not impacting any of the surrounding trees and landscaping.

Andy, the owner, was very personable and took very good notes as to our needs and expectations. He was very responsive to communications between us establishing the work needing to be done. On the day of the job his Team was very organized and asked my advice as day progressed to assure I would be satisfied with end result. They were very efficient and clearly knew what they were doing. There were 7 men working together throughout the front and back yard. They were done much sooner than I expected which was great. We are extremely pleased with the end result and would hire them again.

Initially he contacted me quickly. The agreement is he would do a drive-by of the trees needing service they are visible from the front yard. He called back that same day but unfortunately had gone to the wrong address and would need to return to the property. He said he was going to turn around and come right back and look at the property but has never shown up and it's been two weeks.

They were excellent. They had talent on their team. They had two men who climbed trees as required and had all the tools needed to do any kind of tree work anyone would need done. Their price was also much better than anyone else we talked to. They also have an arborist on their team.

Andy showed right on time, was friendly and clearly very knowledgable, and had a bid to us in a day or so. Price and time line were very good. His crew of four also showed up right on time and completed the entire job in one day. They did an excellent job of removing all debris and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. They were easy to work with, as was Andy. We would certainly use Blue Ribbon again and would recommend them to anyone. We actually did, and they took down two birch trees for my next door neighbor the same day they took out ours. Great experience!

Met friendly estimator at church as scheduled and discussed tree work requested and cost. He suggested work would be performed within a week. Work performed as desired including a good clean up...Will use Blue Ribbon again.

Delighted with the crews punctuality and professionalism! They did an exceptional job on the clean up and we were VERY please with the cost ..having gotten 3 other estimates. Ian was right on!!

Andy came by within hours of my call to give me an estimate. His demeanor was professional and friendly and he was very responsive. The crew came by the next Monday at 8:30am to do the pruning. They worked very efficiently and they were polite. Mid-way through the pruning, I was asked by the crew chief to assess the work. We looked at the work and asked for further pruning which they executed immediately. They cleaned up their work and left our house with 90 minutes. Overall, they were very professional and they did a great job of communicating with us.

It went very well. They had a clear understanding of what was needed to be done, and did a good job getting everything accomplished in due time. I would definitely recommend them!

Andy and his team came to my home to remove a small tree and also to evaluate 5 large cedars on my property. 2 of the 5 cedars had been previously topped, several years ago. Not a great thing to do to any tree since this creates problems down the road. Well these 2 trees had branched out where they were previously topped and had since developed some rot in the pocket where the limbs had grown out. This rot led to a dangerous situation where it was only a matter of time before a windstorm would take out one of these large limbs and drop it on my house...or worse. The options were to re-top above where the new limbs branched out or to remove the trees entirely. Andy felt strongly that the trees could be saved and recommended the first choice. This is what we chose. The job went well. It was a tricky job since my house sits right below one tree and a hot tub sits below the other. Andy and crew were extremely careful not to damage anything and they cleaned and carted away all the branches and debris. It was a big job. Andy communicated well through the process and it was obvious he cares about his customers and their tress. I won't hesitate to recommend Blue Ribbon to friends, family, and neighbors.

I called Andy on Monday and by Wednesday evening the tree was gone. Their large crew was very hard working and safety conscious. They were very careful not to damage surrounding area and did a fabulous clean up. Except for the tree being gone, you'd never know they were there. Thanks Andy and crew!

The crew arrived on time and got to work. They got the trees down quickly and made as little mess as possible. They cleaned up all of the branches and debris and left the yard looking mostly put back together. The tree we had removed was very large, so some damage was inevitable to the yard, but they did a good job keeping it to a minimum. We will definitely use this company again in the future to remove some more trees in the back yard.

I've been using them for years. They're friendly and they do good work. The owner and arborist are knowledgeable and very accommodating. The crew is always very sharp, nice, and they do a good job.

The crew did a great job, showed up in time, prepared the jobsite and made sure that there was no damage to structures since they took down two large trees. They worked very coordinated and had a 50ft fir tree and 20 foot birch completely removed in only a few hours. They also did some pruning on two large trees and it all looked very professional and skilled. Cleaned up the yard nicely after the job and left the jobsite very clean and without damage. The owner was super nice to deal with, very responsive and the pricing was competitive. Highly recommend Blue Ribbon, would use them again for any tree and landscaping work.

Workers were respectful of our property and did not damage any of the shrubbery or fencing. They took the trees down as required and cleaned up after themselves. The price was excellent compared to the other estimate we received. We were very happy with the services provided. On a different job they did for us, they also took down a tree at our rental house and limbed up 5 trees. Once again, the estimate was spot on, as was the work performed and clean up. I would definitely recommend Blue Ribbon Tree & Landscape Specialists.

Beginning with the free estimate, Ian impressed us with his knowledge and friendly demeanor. He had helpful input, listened well, and was easy to work with. On the day of service they worked well with the fact that we had to be in and out of the house. All work was done well, and the clean up went beyond expectations. Overall it was a great experience working with them.

As in the always, Andy, Ian and his crew did an excellent job. However the real measure of a contractor is when something does not go as expected. One of the columns in front of our home was damaged during the process. Ian immediately made me aware of what happened and what Blue Ribbon would do to fix the problem. I was told to expect a call the next day from the contractor who could repair the cap on the post. Early the next morning I did receive a call from Andy's office letting me know that the contractor was out of town and that I would hear from him on Monday AM. As promised early Monday morning I did receive a call from the contractor. He was out the next morning to check out the problem. The damage was assessed and a solution was arrived at. New caps had to be custom ordered and would be installed within the next week. One week later the contractor arrived with the new caps. The work was quickly completed and the columns looked better then ever. I was very pleased with the timely and excellent solution to the problem. I am very happy with the original work that was done and will continue to use and recommend Blue Ribbon. I cannot remember the last time I received such excellent customer service.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Worked with our neighbors to ensure their satisfaction with the tree removal. Made sure that I was satisfied with the pruning in my yard; they made adjustments as needed. They are very customer service oriented. Andy, the owner, knows how to work with the city to meet its tree ordinances. He has a good working relationship with the city officials.

Very responsive when making first contact, set up an appointment within a few days to go over all of the work and provide suggestions. Andy was very helpful in providing input into what would / would not be necessary or recommended to do. Very knowledgable and professional in his approach. The company adhered to my request of several days notice of when the work would begin and the would be onsite (wanted to be able to notify my neighbors). Actual work went very well, the trees all look 100% better and there is a noticeable difference in the yard. The crew cleaned up and removed all the branches and debris created during the process. Overall, I was very pleased with their work and would hire them again.
