Alpine Gentle Roof Cleaning

I was delighted with how easy going Nate was in setting up the appointment, and his level of trust in that you don't pay until the treatment has been completed, even if they have to come back on a drier day. Brian, the roof cleaner, was definitely impressive. He was very professional, courteous, friendly, wanting to be sure all questions had been answered, hardworking and did an excellent job. I am very glad I selected this company and will use them again. I would give an A- for responsiveness, but B is only available. Sometimes my questions weren't answered.

Very responsive to phone calls and appointments, met on site gave an estimate for some roof repairs, received bid and work performed right on schedule and provided a 1 time transferrable 5 year roof certification for a real estate transaction!

Brian did an excellent job. Everything looks great, and the clean-up job was amazing. This will be our go-to company for this work in the future as well.

They showed up on time and cleaned our roof. He could have cleaned up a little better but I'm sure we will do business with them again

They were very responsive. Explained the process well both verbally and in email as far as what to expect and what we needed to do regarding skylights. The roof was cleaned well, and moss preventer spread. Gutters and down spouts were cleared and cleaned. We have some serious slope on one side and they worked well on that area too. We had some leaning gutters and kept backing up. They offered to replace the bad part. We had some miscommunication on billing. They expected payment as the job was finished and I was waiting for a confirmation that the job was finished as they had communicated the fixes with my husband and he had not told me it was done. But in the end it all worked out. We were very happy with their work from start to finish. Price is competitive and they cleaned up everything after they were done.

Nate came and performed roof cleaning. Very professional, very responsible and very good job done. Definitely recommend to my neighbor and my friends for his service. Good Good good service. Very satisfied with the service.

The work was fine but it takes days or weeks to get a call back to schedule services.

Great!! Brian did a wonderful job and even made sure that the neighbors were not left with any dirt from our roof or cleaning.

I had email contact ONLY with this company. The soonest they could have someone give me an estimate was 6+ weeks from date of contact. I cannot recommend them due to their lack of customer service (email contact only) and availability. I contacted Home Depot and rented a power washer for less than $30. and did the job myself (female over 60).

This was a great experience. ?They showed up on time. ?Took great care cleaning my roof. ?Delayed moss?treatment because there was too much rain for it to stick and came back when the weather cleared. ?Alpine did a great job cleaning up afterwards and even made sure my elderly neighbor's yard was clean. ?

On May 2015 I contacted Nate of Alpine Gentle Roof Cleaning to have him give me an estimate on how much it would cost to do my roof on the house and also on an unattached garage. He or someone came out and looked at my roof and noticed it was steep, but said he could do the job. He gave me a quote and I told him I would get back with him. As it happened I did not have my roof cleaned then. I am now selling my house and called Nate a few weeks ago since I kept his quote and told him I needed his service and still had his old quote, but knew it would probably be more since it is a year later (2016). Nate was at a Home Show when I called him, but he responded right away. He told me he remember me and that the quote stayed the same as he last gave it to me a year ago. I thanked him for that and asked when he could come out since I was getting the house ready to sell. He told me he'd get back with me after he left the show that day. He actually called me back the next day and said he had me scheduled on March 4th at 10am. In his prior instructions it said I had to remove all bird feeders, close all windows, etc. On Friday March 4th I did what I was requested to do per the instructions and also closed up all my shades in the house since I have dogs who would constantly bark if they saw anyone near windows. I also had taken one of my dogs to the vet for surgery and was told I could bring him home around noon on the that same day Nate's crew was supposed to be here. 10am came on March 4th and no cleaning people showed up, 10:30 came and still no one so I called Nate's number and it rang and finally went to his voice mail and I got a message saying that the mailbox was full, did I want to send an SMS message. I said yes and it had my phone number and said that number would be sent. I pressed pound as I was requested to do and hung up. 11am came and still no one came and no calls from Nate. Finally about 11:45 am these 2 guys show up and say they were here to clean my roof. I sent them away telling them they were almost 2 hours late and that no one even called to say they were running late. The guy who came to the door looked surprised that I was sending him away. I told him to tell Nate he needs to clear out his mail box since I tried calling him and couldn't leave him a voice mail message. If I agree to a time someone can come to do a project for me I am there for them when they arrive and do whatever needs to be done to be ready for them. To me this was very poor customer service since no one bothered to call me and let me know they might be late. I had other contractors scheduled for that afternoon and didn't need to have Nate's crew there late in the day to get in the other contractors way because Nate's people couldn't get here when they said they would. I have contacted my agent who is going to list the house and asked her if she had someone we could use and she gave me a name that I am going to call today. If you schedule an appointment with someone and are either late for some reason or can't make it it is just common courtesy to call the customer and let them know. That way if the customer has something they need to do and can't wait for them to arrive later at least the job can be rescheduled, but that was not the case here. Also the contractor needs to clean out their mailbox for their phone if they can't answer their calls so that the customer can at least leave them a message.

We would hire them again in a heartbeat. The young man who did the work was totally professional, showed up on time, did a super job, worked non-stop until the job was done, was courteous and helpful. We felt the price was fair compared to other quotes. We were so happy with the work on the roofs, that we hired them back shortly afterwards to power wash our long driveway. Again, great work.

These folks are "gentle" because they use high volume/low pressure washer units. There was no 'cutting' of the shakes from the use of a normal power washer. Brian was here for a long day and at the end, explained precisely what he did, and provided a detailed evaluation of the roof, gutters, and flashing. There were no shakes that needed replacement. He cleaned out a clogged downspout and tested all the drainage system for flow. There was no mess left behind. I checked in the attic, and there was no blow through from the power washing. There's not much you can do to improve the appearance of your house more than to have the roof cleaned, particularly if it's highly visible from the road, which ours is. It looks great. Brian's boss Nate communicated very well to a number of my emails regarding scheduling and describing their methods.

They did a good job, I have used them two times before and will use them in the future. They came on time and was done within a couple of hours. This beats spending thousands of dollars with new gutter systems.

While they are not the least expensive people around, they are very good at what they do. The cleaning is gentle and does not dampage the shingles. If they need to postpone a task or come back later to finish up, they always call and let us know what's happening. Also, they clean up so well, you wouldn't even know they had been there. Good job!

Excellent job! Everything went well and for a good price. They are very professional and really listened to our questions and concerns. They were very responsive to my concerns and getting back with me. As far as the leak in the roof it was also excellent. They told me the company that repaired my roof , after a fallen tree, did not have sheeting in the area of the leak. They were able to add the sheet in order to fix the leak. There was still some sheeting missing which still caused a leak. The owner himself came out to resolve that issue. The owner did not charge for the second service for the roof leak, since I had already paid before to get it corrected.

The roof was cleaned well. Nate did not do the work himself, he has someone else do it. I luckily I stopped by the house when the work was being done to make sure he had done everything I asked. There are more details I could share but it was not the easiest working with these folks. The thing that drove me to write this review, and for the poor grade, however, is that Nate repeatedly promised to prepare an estimate for me to replace a section of my house roof. Since September. The last time he promised to send me an estimate was last week. I am done requesting an estimate from him. It is now late October. Integrity is important in my book and I will never give my business to this provider again. I am sure he will have some excuse or reasons why he simply did not do what he said he would do, but these are the facts and I won't reply to whatever he says. I've said what transpired and he knows it. Thanks.

They did an excellent job, removed all the moss on the roof, thoroughly pressure washed everything and did a great job of clean up!

I requested an estimate online and received a prompt reply. I called to ask a few questions prior to scheduling and I received a fast response with answers to all of my questions. The cleaning/treatment was completed while we were at work. They did some extra work free of charge. They did a very nice job and the roof looks great.

Alpine was very responsive from request for a bid to the actual date of the service. They were great in answering all my questions and getting back to me in a timely manner. The job they did was great. The roof and cement cleaning turned out so nice. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
