 + -1 moreThe appraiser, Kathleen Victor, came to the house and, over 3 hours, collected data on items we needed to insure. She was very easy to work with and asked many questions in order to determine the provenance of the items. She gave us many good tips on how to record the background stories. She explained that such stories increase the value of the items. Her appraisals were up-to-date and extremely valuable to our insurance company. Although she took time to discuss items with us, she did not waste time and was extremely professional.
Description of Work: The appraiser examined and photographed each item we wanted appraised. She took the data to her office, and in three weeks, we received a concise booklet listing each item, its description, and the appraisal value. We had requested Insurance Replacement Value.

Victor Appraisal Services offers the following services: Written personal property appraisal reports that conform to the Uniform Standard for Professional Appraiser Practices and the guidelines set by the Appraisal Standards Board. Kathleen also offers the verbal Restricted Use Appraisal for those who simply want to be verbally informed of values. After examination of items, Kathleen also offers consultation and guidance toward liquidation of personal property.
Appraiser does not offer verbal Restricted Use Appraisals for fine art, designer items, Persian rugs, or some custom made items. Research is required. Appraiser does not appraise coin or stamp collections.
