That worked out really well. There is nothing to dislike. They did the job efficiently and the evaluation was fine. It was done to get the house ready for sale. My interaction was positive and upbeat. We didn't spend anything extra and they came out within a week of purchasing the deal.

Scheduling was fine. They found a problem with the furnace but they took care of it without any additional costs. My experience went well.

The service was good. He was fine. He left the area perfect. He was prompt.

UM showed up on time and finished the work in a timely fashion. I have had no issues with the furnace or their workmanship since the installation six months ago.

The service was just average. They also gave us an estimate for some additional work but this was higher than other estimates we received.

We've used Universal Mechanic in the past with positive results, so called them again to troubleshoot a problem with the gas forced-air furnace. It was occasionally not blowing warm air when it would engage. The service tech arrived on time and was pleasant and professional. He diagnosed the problem and recommended further service, suggesting it be done soon. We declined immediate service, as the cost was significant. On a side note, a couple weeks after the appointment, we mentioned our furnace problem to a friend, who as it turns out, has a relative who is a HVAC specialist. They were nearby and offered to come and check out our furnace issues. They found the same issues as the Universal Mechanic tech, and recommended the same repairs. The only difference was Universal Mechanic's estimated cost for the recommended repairs was a couple hundred dollars more than the price quoted by our friends relative (Thus the "B" rating). Still would use Universal Mechanic again, if needed.

It was great. My furnace is now working and I was pleased with the service. The technician was very friendly and cleaned up well afterwards.

They were good. They were on time. The "Big Deal" was good, that's why I purchased it.

Great service tech, no problems, we got what we wanted for under $100. Will be my "default" provider for future similar needs.

The technician from Universal Mechanical Service arrived on time and went right to work doing a tuneup of the furnace in our vacant duplex. He went over everything, and thought there possibly could be a problem with water coming from the roof vent. So without hesitation, he got out his ladder and climbed up on the roof and inspected, then came back down to report all is well, that everything is working properly and that the heat exchanger is okay. He gave advice on how often to change furnace filters, and put a new filter in.

The service tech showed up and stated he had performed service on the furnace. I specifically asked if he had cleaned the permanent filter, to which he answered yes. He also said he performed an AC/heat pump check and addressed the default notices we were getting on our thermostat by indicating our coolant pressure was extremely low from the pressure check he said he performed. He indicated Universal Mech could repair this at an estimated cost of close to $1500. He subsequently sent a written estimate on 11/20 for $1399. Before committing to this, I called Overlake Heating, who had installed the heat pump to see if the work might be under warranty. Their tech came out on 12/9 and immediately diagnosed the thermostat faults as a disconnected plug on the furnace. Further, he pulled out and showed me the filter that the Universal guy said he had cleaned.. It was so dirty it was obstructing air flow and had also been put in upside down. On the heat pump, ,he did a pressure check and found NO pressure loss. He said it was fine and we have had no issues or warning notices since his $379 service call for both units. When I called Universal to complain about their shoddy work and ask for a refund, the rep said she had to consult with the service manager. She called back a few days later and said there would be no refund, but their guy could come out again and check the filter. I declined. DON"T USE THESE PEOPLE-MY EXPERIENCE IS THAT THEY ARE A RIPOFF AND DON'T KNOW WQHAT THEY ARE DOING!

It went great. They were on time, courteous and did the job in a very professional manner.

Did not hire because we already had a diagnosis of what was wrong with the furnace from PSE, and Universal Mechanical wanted $130+ to come out and diagnose it again. We hired Best Furnace, who did not need to do a special "diagnosis" trip and fixed the furnace on the spot (Yes, PSE was correct in their diagnosis).

They were on time. They did the work and after that I had to call them back to do something else for me. I think I had to call them back maybe 2 other times for them to fix my furnace.

I have had furnace tune-ups before and the burners are always cleaned, however, this company's tune-up does not include removing the burners and cleaning them.

We bought our own Aprilaire air cleaner and Humidifier from authorized dealer, they refused to install them for us since this equipment is not purchased from them, maybe we need to pay for the mark up? The conversation was carried on phone.

They were great and we went with a different provider based on the cost and that Costco backs the company we worked with.

The company started the work and they didn't complete it correctly. We didn't realize it hadn't been completed incorrectly since we didn't turn on our heater until today, so we had to have another company come out and fix it.

I want to say that I don't recall the amount of the service, but it's a required field, so ... FYI somewhat of a wild guess there. It went fine, not much to say. The rep was intelligent, articulate, and gave advice that made a lot of sense to me. Very satisfied.

Went well-didn't take long. Found another issues that needs to be addressed

After multiple attempts to contact contractor to get pre-paid service, finally gave up after never hearing from them.

It went really well! They were on time! They really stuck to the basics of what was and wasn’t needed. They even did a follow up that was really great!
