The first time we came in he was very helpful and showed us product that we really liked. The second time we came in to order the tile and realized that we didn't have the quantity for the bullnose tile we needed. We told him that we were on a timeline and he said that he would be out of the office for the rest of the week and asked us to come back on Monday. We went back to return the samples that he had loaned us on that Friday. We told the man, Rick, who helped us that we had been working with Jim Crane but if possible we would like to get a quote for the material. The man first told us that Jim's brother would help us but then came back and said that Jim's brother was now busy with another customer and he could get us a quote. He brought back the quote and I asked him if this was the best price we could get. Rick was very abrupt with us and told us that that was the best price we could get as their prices were low already. We went up the street and asked at another place and their price was 20% lower. We went ahead and ordered the tile from the new place. The following week when he was back in town, I called Jim Crane and told him what had happened and that we had ordered the tile from another place. Mr. Crane was not happy that we had not ordered the tile but seemed ok with it. A few minutes later I got a call back from Mr. Crane and he proceeded to yell at me for not ordering the tile from him and then he hung up on me. I will never do business with this outfit. Unfortunately I didn't look them up on Angieslist first as I would have never gone in there in the first place.

Tile specialists actually required us to scrape out caulk and loosen grout prior to them coming in. Tile specialists had to come back twice because initial job (only approximately 1/2 hours worth of work) was done shoddy and messy. They required me to tape areas I wanted grouted and when worker arrived he just pulled up all the taped areas without bothering to look where I had identified problems. Worker was also late. Was disappointed that person doing the actual work wasn't a part of initial conversation. Individual that came to review shower problem, was not the person that did the work.

Dennis was knowledgeable and went through a lot of tile to help me find, what I was looking for. He gladly loaned me samples. Prices seem a bit high.

THE TILE SPECIALISTS WERE VERY TIDY, BECAUSE THE OLD SLATE FLOOR WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE AND IT WAS DUSTY. THE INSTALLATION THEY PERFORMED WAS VERY WELL DONE, AND THEY HAD TO INSTALL THE TILE PIECES ON THE DIAGONAL.
