Seattle Select LLC

This was a large pipe with significant blockage near the far end of where Seattle Select inserted the hydro-jet hose. They were able to remove some of the obstruction, but, unfortunately, did not remove the major root obstruction and therefore did not clear the pipe. Since it takes about 30 minutes to fill the water tank, we only got about 1.5 hours of work and they were not interested in running the pipe again. My neighbor asked them to run the video camera down the pipe, but the water was so murky, they weren't able to see much. We had to dig up the pipe during the summer and clear/repair the pipe ourselves.

I called at 8am in the morning and explained my problem and they arrived by 10am. They stated my problem pipe was pretty unusual but that they would get back to me as soon as they talked to a superior with the company. They called an hour later and explained what I needed to do, and that the fix wasn't their expertise. I appreciated their time and honesty.

We have a large silver maple tree and the roots get into our sewer and our neighbors. We've had Seattle Select out almost every year since we bought our house, and each time they responded promptly and put in the time necessary to clean out our sewer drain with hydrojetting. This time when they scoped it they discovered that the pipe collapsed, and after checking with us for the additional work immediately started excavating. Each step of they way they communicated "early and often." When they got down to the pipe they put in a temporary repair promptly so that we could use our water the next day. Then they returned to remove roots from several other breaks in the pipe and finally to put the trenchless liner which saved us the cost of another excavation at the other end of the pipe. At one point midway, they communicated with us that they had another customer with an emergency, and took a 1 day break in order to take care of that customer, leaving us with a usable sewer system. They gave us a nice discount for this consideration which I appreciate, and communicated clearly and promptly both before and after. Seattle Select has been one of the best service providers I've ever used and they've always been honest, prompt and effective.

They are awesome. He was on time, on budget, and I like him a lot. He did what he said he would do, and he was the cheapest from all the bids. I have recommended him to all my buddies. He was very good about punctuality, he would call me if he was going to be 10 minutes late.

The drain tile side sewer in at my house is from WWII. It was beginning to crumble, leading to sewage backups. Ross and his crew cleared the back up, and inserted a flexible, expandable pipe into the old drain tile. once it was in, it is expanded, and takes the place of the old concrete, leaving a plastic pipe instead. The cost seems high, but it could have cost thousands more. This company is the one to deal with if you're having side sewer problems. They are prompt, and professional. and highly competitive.

They seemed like a very good company. They might charge a little bit more than some others; but they do a good job. They arrived when they said they would arrive, which was good. They told me what it would cost, and they just seemed really honest to me. The price was fair.

They were excellent. When they picked up the phone, there was someone to talk to and then sent someone alomst right away. They were very prompt. There wasn't a leak anymore when it was repaired, it was in a timely manner and they took care of it.

My only criticism of SS service is that instead of steadily keeping us posted on the progress of the work, as we requested, they persistently proceeded on their own schedule, informing us of each stage only as or after they completed it. With the ease of communication now afforded by cellular communication and email, I see no excuse for this. But since their approach is much more the norm than the exception in the contracting business, I can't find it in my heart to slam them for it, annoying as it is to be pounced on to write a check on the way to catching a bus. I would not have the slightest hesitation in recommending SS to others.

Ross and his team were creative and confident in their approach to fix our sewer dilemma. After having 4 other companies try to camera our entire sewer line, Seattle Select was the only company that was able to camera our entire sewer line despite the broken pipe. This allowed us to obtain a more accurate estimate of the entire cost of the job. As it turns out, our sewer pipe was original concrete from the 1920s and it had a linear crack that went the length of the pipe. We replaced the entire pipe with a liner that took approximately 4 hours to cure and then it was "good as new". We also added in a couple of "patches" to the sewer pipe heading back to our house. The patches were costly, but necessary to do unless we wanted to dig another 6 foot deep hole in our backyard. Ross's style was blunt, but honest and he was readily available to answer any questions at all times. He works with his twin brother and I think that they are a great team together.

We put this off longer than we wanted. Ross stayed in touch from time to time and ultimately came in significantly less than most other bids. Bruce (Ross' twin brother) and his crew of two additional laborers showed up at 9AM (on-time) and got straight to work. They politely answered all my ridiculous home-owner questions and finished up at 3PM. It was pretty much just digging, breaking up and removing old pipe, fitting new pipe and replacing the dirt. I had a bump out from the house that caused me great concern. As it turns out, Bruce has a background in general contracting. He stayed far away from the bump out and explained why it wasn't at risk. I'm a Realtor and have seen enough sewer problems that I prepared myself for the worst; however, what I got was the best. The best option for my problem, the best price and the best company. I would not hesitate for a moment to use or recommend Seattle Select LLC.

We called that company on Monday night after work hours and left a message. Some water was coming through the basement fireplace. We suspected one of the outdoor drain was blocked and the water was exiting through the pipe join. About one after our call, Ross phoned us back and an appointment was set for 9am the day after. They were on time and went straight to work. The pipe was unblocked in no time which allowed them to make sure no other drain had the same issue. The explanation they gave about the problem and how to avoid it in the future were really clear and their work and attitude and equipment really professional. It was a pleasure to use their services and as a real estate agent, I already referred them to 2 other persons.
