Run. Just run. I'm not a pro but would have caught more just walking the home myself... saving my $500+ on this company, and thousands in the negotiation of the home purchase. We used them in June 2017 after our real estate agent's primary two go-to companies just were full up and we were trying to find anyone to do the job. I wish I had read other yelp reviews first. I'm not even sure where to start, they missed so much stuff it's not even funny... ranging from something a trained professional should have caught, to stuff that would be obvious to any home owner, to stuff that they signed off on as inspected but didn't even exist. There was thousands and thousands of dollars worth of problems not reported and we're still discovering now. Here's the list of things missed that we caught within just the first couple weeks that were completely absent from the report: - Doors - 4 handles fell off in our hands, 5 hinges were missing screws or missing screws all together - Kitchen sink drain was broken (water came pouring out cabinet when water was turned on for any time at all and you could see clear water damage of the cabinet floor) - Refrigerator had broken off water dispenser lever (obvious next to ice lever) - Oven door had broken hinge and door just fell open and barely stayed shut - No carbon monoxide alarms - yet marked as inspected! - 6 or 7 non working outlets... or outlets on dimmer switches! - Breaker wiring issues - 20 amp circuits on 14 gauge wire (which should never exceed 15 amps) - fire hazard and possibly something where I now need to replace wiring that's exceeded it's limits and could arc in my walls. - Water shooting out of shower head connection - Dishwasher that doesn't close - Windows that don't close without really leaning into them to bend them as you close them - Open holes in walls for running wires (not really hidden if you just looked from the side at all) - Toilet that mostly didn't flush/bubbled - Lamp wire used in-attic to connect new fixture and no electrical junction box for that new chandelier (normally I wouldn't hold an inspector to find this except the lamp wire literally came up and was tied around a roof joist before going back down - very obvious for anyone just looking around attic - Complete areas of missing attic insulation (at least 40 sqft). - Roofing completely starting to fall/slide off porch roof - No flashing between porch roof and house - Concrete porch slab angled towards house/siding with nowhere for water to go but against house - Hole in ceiling over stairs - from leak in roof. - Light fixture mounted over/obstructing in-home sprinkler system - Furnace had male end of an extension cord wired into live power lines and just hanging in the open space inside - it arc'd. (presumably someone had done this so they could connect a generator)? - One of the garage doors didn't work at all... and I mean the cable/band that pulls the door up/down was broken/tied in nots. But the inspection said it had simply been "disabled" I get missing one or two things. But this list is far more extensive than it should be and missed some super basic things that they flat out lied about having inspected. I would have been better off with no inspection at all as then I wouldn't have a false sense of confidence about the condition of things.
Description of Work: We were buying a new home. Our agents go-to inspectors (he had 2) were unavailable and so we went with this unknown company.

Description of Work: Norm was incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. We felt he pointed out the meticulous detail to the home as well as valid repairs we would need to consider prior to purchasing the house. The final report was very thorough.
