Very committed service.

The technician was very nice but he arrived 2 & 1/2 hours after the confirmed time window. He did not have all the necessary parts to complete the job and had to make a run to get them when the job was half way finished which added to the already big delay. My biggest disappointment was the price. I purchased the special from Angie's list which was $799 installed. They informed me that if I needed any coils and other supplies, they would have them on the truck and available to purchase. The clincher was, they didn't tell me that they would not warranty the heater or installation unless I purchased the additional parts from them. This amounted to an additional $550. So, the deal I thought I was getting was voided by the additional cost of parts.

drained a little water from tank said no mineral build up. Went through whole house looking for something else wrong but couldnt find anything. instead of getting maintenance for water heater got home inspection.

Issues were brought to my attention and I felt the technician did an excellent job of explaining them to me and he was very knowledgable.

It was fine. He put a lot of extra effort into the job. I was glad to have hot water.

Did a good job on servicing and also replaced a pressure tank that had a bad bladder inside it.

Jim arrived promptly, did a professional job, and cleaned up after himself. I had to pay a little extra to bring the installation up to code, but I was expecting that.

Very good service

Was the only one in the top reviews who can come by. They managed to ask one of their guys who happened to be in another client in the area to come by in between calls and was able to quickly identify the issue and fixed it. Total time taken was less than 5 min. Really grateful for them to be willing and able to address water heater issue on the same day in a cold winter day. :)

as planned and scheduled

I had called another company first, but they never got back to me with estimates, so I called 1st response next. They were able to send someone out the next morning and because the unit was 12 years old and had been leaking awhile, they replaced it that day, and took the old one. Beau and Ryan were very nice and efficient.

We were exceptionally pleased with the work!

Beau did a thorough job of providing all the services. He did not try to oversell any additional services or products. We wanted two toilets repaired for noises which required him to get more parts and work later into the day, He happily did this and was very professional.

They were great!

Very well. They were very easy to schedule with. They followed up through several mediums to make sure we were all on the same page. They showed up on time, actually early! And the guys were very polite and respectful of our home. When they left they left me with faucets, showers and toilets that are no longer dripping leaking or clogged and a list of items I could do and the prices to do them. I loved the service and will use it and refer friends to use it as well.

Disappointed. I inquired repeatedly with the office if the offer was "all inclusive". That is, were there any other possible charges that may arise. When the installers arrived they noted several items that were "optional" but if not installed voided the warranty of the hot water unit. These additional items totaled $591 extra. I noted my prior inquires with the office and they replied that the office staff were ignorant of all the charges. Then they noted that they would add another 3% if I used a credit card to pay. Finally, they wrecked a corner of the adjacent wall corner and wall board.

Beau and Ryan answered all of my questions and were very friendly. They showed up within the given time frame and removed the old tank and installed the new tank quickly and efficiently. The cost did go up due to replacing the water inlet and outlet lines and the gas inlet line. New tank, might as well have new lines. 1st Response should mention in their coupon that water/gas lines will add to the cost since Beau explained that the water lines almost always have to be replaced and the new gas line is required to maintain their lifetime warranty. Code required the installation of a condensation trap which at $125 I thought was a little over priced. Overall a good experience and I would probably use them again.

Well Bo and Ryan were early, they proceeded to explain exactly what they were going to do and answered all my questions. I did ask them a quite a few questions and assured me that everything was going good. The guys were quick and efficient and would recommend them to my friends.

Perfect, but interesting the price listed on Angies did not include replacement of the gas piping

I only noticed late in the morning that my water heater was leaking, I contacted 1st Response via Angie's List and requested (hoped ) same day service. They arrived in the early afternoon to diagnose the issue and provide me with an estimate for a new water heater....they then replaced my water heater and were done and gone by 4 PM. Great service, nice guys, good job and reasonably priced. Best of all, and what I wanted, was to have the issue resolved the same day. 1st Response did it all on very short notice. I would definitely use these guys again. A very big thanks to Brian and Ryan.

It took a lot of searching to find someone to service a tankless water heater. These guys were professional and did a great job! My hot water comes on faster now and the system is running better than it was before.
