Service is always professional, on time, thorough and their communications are quick and friendly. They came out just to pressure wash our driveway and sidewalks yesterday and as usual, did a terrific job. I'll be hiring them again in the spring for a full service!

+ -1 moreI have used Rick's Window Rangers for over 12 years now and so far, have been happy with their service. On this occasion though, Rick came with a junior associate whose quality of work and lack of professionalism, coupled with Rick's lax supervision caused me to feel uncomfortable with them working inside my home without me watching. A couple notes: - Junior associate stood on our furniture instead of using his ladder. - Junior associate dripped soap on window sills and floors and did not notice until I pointed it out. - Junior associate dripped soap onto carpet by not holstering squeegee appropriately. Rick, the owner, was great about it, but I feel that given I hired professionals, I shouldn't have had to follow them around and check their work like this.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. Rick showed up right on time and did an excellent job and cleanup. The patio and back deck were a mess-- covered with moss and gunk, and he had to do repeat work on many sections to get them clean. A very big job that would have taken me a week, but he did everything in about 6 hours.
Description of Work: Blew off roof debris, cleaned exterior of gutters, power washed large concrete patio behind house, cleaned and treated back deck, cleaned and treated shed roof, cleaned deck bench and table.

+ 0 moreAfter three unsuccessful attempts to get someone to bid a roof cleaning (all three are A-list contractors) Rick showed up on the day I was told and gave us an estimate for blowing debris off our roof and applying moss treatment to one area of the roof ($60 + $15). He warned us that they were booked a month out but if I was interested I should call the office and get scheduled. Since it was after office hours I left a message that I would like to get on the schedule. When my call was returned the next business day, they offered me an appointment two days out (instead of a month - I gathered that they had added more staff which created the opening). But she told me that their minimum charge was $120 and asked if I would like to have some window washing done to meet the minimum. I agreed to that and a bit more. Bill, the technician, arrived promptly at the appointed time (actually a few minutes early), went over with me what I wanted done and got to work. The whole job took just about 1¼ - 1½ hours. He blew the roof debris off the decks and driveway and washed the exterior windows as agreed. I recommend this company and would use them again.

Description of Work: They performed a minor cleaning of the roof and washed the windows, both inside and outside. When the sun later exposed some streaks on one of the windows, they promptly returned and washed it again, no questions asked.

+ -1 moreObviously a "low ball" bid where the provider counted on raising the price once upon the premises. His wife told him on the phone she thought it was an eight unit building. Evidently she was confused and she denied giving us a final quote of $400.00 for a cash payment upon completion. Mr. Drake took great offense at our suggesting that his wife made a mistake, even when I showed him the bid being at $400.00 cash. As noted previously the problem was evidently in communication between the two of them unless it was just a scam to raise the price when they showed up to perform the previously agreed upon services.
Description of Work: Rick's Window Rangers submitted a bid of $400. to clean all the condo windows inside and out plus clean the all the gutters. This is three unit condominium. The assistant arrived on time and proceeded to clean the interior windows of one unit. The owner arrived shortly thereafter and promptly informed me of an extra charge for a section of gutter, a item previously omitted in their bid. I pointed out that it was a loose "L" only. I then reviewed the bid with him, Mr. Drake. The bid arranged with Mrs. Drake by telephone and agreed upon was $400.00 cash for the window cleaning inside and out as well as the gutter cleaning. Mr. Drake told me he wouldn't perform the work for that price. He called Mrs. Drake who denied authorizing that price. I showed him my copy of his bid plainly marked $400.00. He threatened to pull out immediately and leave us without his services. I suggested that we discuss the situation and that my recourse would be to report his refusal to honor this company's commitment. I planned to cut back on his window cleaning and concentrate on the gutter cleaning. Mr. Drake would not hear any of it. He said he would not do business with people who would report him in a negative way nor with people he didn't like which included me in that category. With that non-responsive attitude he pulled his worker and left the premises. VERY NON-PROFESSIONAL. He simply wouldn't honor the commitment of his company after a final agreement was made with his wife who obviously had the authority to commit the company. In order to meet his schedule I devoted the morning to accommodate his schedule as did the unit owner of another unit. In earnings this represents at least $800.00 of potential earnings lost because of Mr. Drake's intransigence and refusal to honor his commitment. We will probably go to small claims court to recoup our lost wages. We will now search Angie's list for a more responsible provider.

+ 0 moreThey just don't clean up. I have discussed this with them. I had used them for ages. Stuff from the gutters flew all over my plants, and they didn't clean them off, and it is almost impossible to get that all off. They don't haul things off. Their prices are fair. They just don't do a good job.
