We asked Puget Sound Energy for contractor referrals and received the names three companies. We also added the name of the heating contractor for our subdivision. All four companies were highly rated by the BBB and by Angie's List. The bids for the work were separated by about $3000 from lowest to highest. All of the companies made professional presentations. We selected Pearce Heating because the company had the lowest bid, and we felt very comfortable with Brian Pearce, the owner, who gave a ow key sales pitch. When we asked about a new, more efficient technology for a heat pump, Brian said that his company, which is a Bryant dealer, would have the technology next spring, but that he would recommend some good Carrier dealers if we really wanted that type of a system right now. After looking at everything, we had Pearce Heating install a new Bryant 95% condensing furnace and a Noritz condensing tankless water heater. Pearce Heating also installed the heat pump coil in the furnace so we can add a heat pump later. The installation took about two and a half days and was extremely professional. Brian himself handled the required venting through the roof (two for the furnace and two for the tankless water heater) and checked everything to be sure no detail was overlooked.. The King County inspector noted that the installation was a very nice job and readily signed the permit. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

After contacting Pearce Heating with the specific information for the gas fireplace I wanted installed, parts were ordered and installed as requested. The installation crew was professional and reliable. They were respectful of the furniture and all aspects of the house as they worked. When finished they cleaned up and removed all debris. Before leaving the job they made sure I was aware of the emergency gas turn off valves, how to operate the fireplace remote control, and how to change the back up batteries in the fireplace system. A later question that I had regarding the fireplace fan was promptly answered. Although the removal of the old metal fireplace box was more labor intensive that first anticipated, the entire job price came in as bid. I would definately recommend this company.

we got a couple of bids and his was competitive we decided on Pearce because Brian impressed us with his professionalism and courteousness we have been happy with the furnace. over the years we've had a couple of issues and Brian had worked with us to fix them

I met Brian, the company owner, on a Monday. We spent 60-90 minutes going over my existing heating and cooling situation and talking about objectives for the project. Brian was honest about the cost/benefit of different options and I didn’t feel pressured into the highest price option. I received a detailed bid for the project within 48 hours and the work was scheduled for the following Tuesday/Wednesday. I liked how Brian did not ask for a penny up front on the project. The work started on time each day and all during the project people were very professional and respectful of my house. I was working from home due to an out-of-town guest and Brian repeatedly asked if he needed to keep things quiet at certain times. Installation of my new furnace meant that much of the venting around the furnace needed to be replaced due to some funky work done by the previous home owner. I was impressed with the overall attention to detail and concern shown for the total work project. Work for the project was finished on time. As part of my project I wanted a specific thermostat and Brian came back to install that product specifically once it arrived.
