 + -1 moreOther than the initial frustrations of spending 1.5 hours trying several different things to get the program to load before finding the solution, it turned out fine.
Description of Work: It was a software issue in that the Adobe Flash Player 10 was not installing on my laptop. Frank Chan, the owner, spent about 1.5 hours trying various things to get the Flash Player to install. Finally, he tried setting the Internet Explorer browser to the default settings, and that finally enabled the program to load.

Description of Work: Repair two computers. Both required retrieving the data from the hard drive and reinstalling the operating system. On one I asked to have more RAM installed and decided to change the hard drive to a bigger one.

 + -1 moreThe fan on my laptop was running very loud and the computer would get very hot. I took the laptop to my regular technician, but he told me that he didn't work on laptop fans and that I would likely need to send it back to the manufacturer for repair and it would likely be a few hundred dollars. I took it to PC Clinic and he said my fan was likely dirty. He blew out the fan with compressed air and now it is working like a charm! It took all of a few minutes for him to diagnose this. He could have charged me for a lot more work than that - but he was very honest and ethical and just helped me out. I HIGHLY recommend PC Clinic!

 + -1 moreFantastic! We were so distraught, thought that all information was lost. Frank is a miracle worker on the computer, he not only restored out computer, but he did it in record time. Our computer (due to my stupid installation of a program without reading the instructions) would not load, it was completely dead. We had a mobile computer guy come out to our house and he worked on it for 3 hours (the bill was outrageous) and couldn't fix it, said he would have to take it away and completely strip it and start from scratch. We said no and sent him away. Then I took the computer down to the PC Clinic in Woodinville (QFC strip mall right behind the bagel store). So very glad I did. Fixed it in no time at all without losing any of our data. Frank is a genius!! REALLY GREAT!!!!
Description of Work: Our computer crashed. Had another company out and they would have had to STRIP our computer and rebuild (meaning we would have lost everything!!!) We said no and took our computer over to PC Clinic .... thank goodness, Frank fixed it, and it runs better than ever and all without losing any of our programs.
