1. Randy is a good salesperson, but does not return emails or follow through when there is a problem 2. The owner (also named Randy) is frightening and aggressive in his behavior towards customers – he has an obvious mental problem and I expect that someday he will physically attack someone. I definitely felt threatened by his strange behavior. 3. The other owner, Marcie, is unapologetic in the face of obvious shortcomings of her company. She doesn’t care because she doesn’t have to. She’s also vindictive because when I complained, Marcie struck out by cancelling our other counter job, thus setting us back on our project even further. She also refused to tell me the name of the quartz, which seems petty 4. There is only one person (Jonathan) who comes out to the job to measure. That means that if he goes on vacation, or is ill, the job gets delayed. When he finally came out, he measured incorrectly, which meant that the counter had to be removed and replaced. I had offered to let him take the stovetop, the pop up and the faucet, and yet he refused. Later we discovered that he had also measured the faucet opening incorrectly, but instead of having to wait another month for them to fix it, I decided to return the faucet and find others that would fit the holes he drilled .His errors cost us months on our project because we had re-order faucets and delay the appliance installation. Once you miss your appointment with appliance installs, you are pushed back two months minimum. Finally, they told me they would match the seams on the backsplash, but they didn't follow through. they didn't respond to my request to fix the backsplash.

Excellent workmanship throughout. All contractors were professional and knowedgeable. They brought in a plumber and a tile specialist and both were great at their jobs. And the staff designer, Randy, was so helpful. Timely and friendly, too. Highly recommend!

NOT A GOOD PLACE TO DO BUSINESS. We had an agreement…in writing…from this business for a refund of the difference between what the sub-contracted electrician charged and what was budgeted. The difference was just over $750. When it came due Northwest Interiors and Design/Northwest Stone Fabricators refused…again in writing…to honor the earlier commitment. We had had NO disagreements to that point and the total amount we paid them was over $18,000; what they had proposed and we accepted. We paid them promptly. What the heck? It seems to me that a business that doesn’t stand by its word is not a place you should believe and not one you should work with. Folks, not kidding. In our experience this company simply cannot be trusted. Look for another contractor.

It went perfect. Northwest Stone Fabricators was great from the beginning of the project to the end.

Went very well. Showed up when they said, carefully protected all parts of house, cleaned after every step.

The stone we chose was very unique and they did an excellent job laying it up for cutting, minimizing joints etc. Install was over a few days and they worked hard, minimizing our inconvenience during the job. They were clean and respectful of our home. Communication was good. Finished job was great. There was only one issue though, and that was how we know these guys are the real deal. Our stone started to crack in several places a few months after installation. As soapstone is a 'natural' product, that is not warrantied, most companies would have used this as an excuse to not stand by the job. They did not take this approach. Far from it. They worked with the stone supplier (Cosentino) to get the stone replaced. Cosentino only took partial responsibility for the stone, but NorthWest Stone took full responsibility for everything else, including a full re-installation of the countertops with new soapstone (from a different supplier). As you can imagine, this was a huge deal for all involved. The re-installation was handled as professionally as the first, and we now have a beautiful kitchen. THANK YOU NORTHWEST STONE FABRICATORS.

NorthWest Stone Fabricators did a very good job for us. They sent an estimator to our home (a good deal of distance from their Redmond location) to take measurements for a quote. She informed us of the stone providers they work with in the event we did not choose a stone from their inventory. We did find a stone we loved at one of the places she suggested (a very pricey stone as it turned out, with us choosing to add another slab to avoid an unwanted seam in one section of the countertops), and we put a hold on the slabs we wanted; NorthWest Fabricators went to work from that point on. They collected our stone slabs and took them to their fabricating location in Redmond. After we approved the quote, another person came to prepare the templates for the work we wanted done. We were allowed to supervise the placement of the templates onto the stone slabs allowing me to let my creative imagination take control of the design outcome. On installation day a team of workers arrived, and their first order of business was to cover the floors to protect them. They removed the old Formica countertops without harming the walls or cabinets. Then they installed new stone countertops, paying attention to the small details of lining up the patterns in the stone. When they were finished with the installation, they sealed the stone, picked up the items protecting the floors, and they swept up. We love how our job turned out! Update: Per an agreement that we had concerning our remnants we were suppose to have $3150 returned to us and its been 7 months with two promises of payment. We never received it and I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to which they did not respond to the complaint.

We checked out NW stone as they had came recommended to us by our cabinet contractor; We met with Liz and she was very helpful, showed us samples in the colors we liked and even at a later date Liz set up so that I could visit a couple of the Companies to see the Quartz slabs in a large scale, which was very helpful to me. Liz sent me quotes via email and also helped work out some of the details such as edges. Miguel came out and measured when we were ready, he also measured 2 window sills so that we could utilize some of the "extra" slab. I did have to wait 2 weeks until they could install which I was hoping would be less (its hard to be without a kitchen) , but 2 gents came out and installed with no problems and they also installed the sink and drilled holes for faucet and also cut the hole for the cooktop on site and they did have to connect one seam which is pretty invisible. The counters could not be more beautiful, the under mount sink is very elegant, I love the edge details. There are some small marks in front of the sink that is part of the stone and they did come out and correct a small cavity, some marks are still visible but they told me to watch them and are willing to help with any issues that arise with them. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome, it was great to work with Liz and Miguel they were both very helpful, I would not hesitate to use or recommend NW stone.

Liz helped me look for granite that I liked, and when I found what I was looking for, took it from there. They came to my house and made the templates to cut the granite, and later came out to install it. The granite looks great. When there was an error with the edge of the backsplash, they took the pieces back to fix them without question. The granite fits beautifully around the corners where it took extra work to get it right. They cleaned up very well. They will be back tomorrow to finish the job with the backsplash since my schedule did not accommodate an earlier date. I will do additional business with this company in the near future to one more counter that needs to be replaced in another room.

We wanted to replace our old laminate countertops with granite. After talking to numerous fabricators, looking at hundreds of slabs of granite and educating myself throughly on the subject, I finally found two slabs of granite that I really liked at Northwest Stone. Lesya came to measured and quoted us a price we were happy with. Miguel came to template the kitchen a few days later and a couple of days after that we met with Jonathan to lay the template out the way we wanted it on the slabs we had picked out. Jonathan was willing to cut the granite the way we wanted. They were willing to mill our backsplash down to a thickness we preferred, put edging on everything, miter the corners on the backsplash and agreed to put the seams where we wanted. It took about a week and a half for them to fabricate the stone. Francisco and Sergio arrived on time to do the tear out of the old countertops and install the new granite. They did a fabulous job! They didn't damage anything on the tear out and were very patient with us as we watched over their shoulders as the granite went in. They paid close attention to detail and didn't leave anything undone. We picked a rather busy granite and my biggest seam was where two pieces from different slabs had to meet up. The fabricator at Northwest did a remarkable job of matching the two pieces to meet up perfectly. Francisco seamed it just right.The finished product is beautiful. Fabricating stone into a finished product really is a team effort and Northwest Stone Fabricators has a wonderful crew working for them. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for fabrication work.

everything went great and looks beautiful except when they installed they told me I couldn't use the faucet i picked out because it needed three holes and i had to choose one that used one whole. When i went back to the showroom their display that was the same design as mine has three holes. Now i have a faucet that isn't my favorite.

Lesya came on time to measure and bid our project. She invited us to view in -stock granite at the warehouse to make decision. Selection was good and I appreciated the opportunity to see what was available. I peppered the template technician with plenty of questions and he was very patient and informative. He made sure that we were in total agreement of what was to be done before he left. We were also invited to participate with the laying of the template on the granite piece. The day of installation was all business. The crew took out the old counter-tops, sinks and cook-top all the while protecting the surrounding area. Installation went very smoothly. The crew were professional and cleaned up after they were finished. I have to say, that by far, the service from Northwest Stone Fabricators beats that of Home Depot's Precision Counter Tops who installed our vanity tops.

It took a few months to come to an ageeement on the work. I found Marcie to be the best person to work with on defining the project and developing the scope fo work. Installation went as planned. We did have th filed carpenter follow up with addressign some details. It has turned out very good.

Northwest Stone Fabricators provided us with new countertops, sinks, and faucets in our kitchen and three bathrooms. They also tiled our kitchen backsplash. We really enjoyed working with Liz Thomas through the whole process, from picking out the granite and quartz countertops through the designing of our kitchen backsplash. She is very knowledgeable, easy, and fun to work with. We had an event we were hopeful to have everything done by, and the whole staff worked very hard to make that happen. Rick, the tiler, did an amazing job on our backsplash and the special tiled feature behind our cooktop. Everyone we worked with from start to finish were professional, took pride in their work with an attention to detail, easy to work with, and addressed any concerns we had in a pleasant and timely fashion.

Overall this was went very smoothly. Marcie was a huge help with her suggestions and information. The workmen were all excellent. We felt very good about the whole process, and our kitchen and bathroom look terrific.

It was a great experience. They were courteous and professional. They have a good selection of granite slabs to choose from. On the day of installation, everything went smoothly- the installers turned up on time and finished the work promptly and within the time frame and have done fantastic job. We will surely recommend them to our friends and would certain work with them again.

First time buyer of granite countertops. Initially, I found the company easy to work with but things broke down later. I was considering different granite slabs for my kitchen countertops and I needed information on the pricing. Marcie, the owner, went on vacation. I made multiple phone calls trying to get pricing while shopping for slabs, but I was told by the staff that no one else could help me. So, I called a few days later and was told that Marcie had extended her vacation time. When I asked for someone else to help me, the staff member who answered the phone hung up on me. Finally, after about 10 days, I got an email from the owner with the explanation that it "takes awhile to catch up". I couldn't understand why there wasn't time to return my phone call since my granite fabrication was a few days away. I didn't feel comfortable trusting my project to this company due to the poor communication at this critical stage of the project.

I could go on and on about this company. Had a wonderful experience from beginning to end! I had reached out to several companies for bids on quartz and granite countertops. I had done some research but was having a very difficult time deciding what material to go with. I can't believe how incredibly patient, flexible and knowledgeable Randy was with us. I saved my emails regarding all my questions and concerns and I sent him 43 emails!! He was always responsive and helped me make an informed decision. If I were him, I would have "kicked me to the curb" a long time ago. It's not as if we were spending a fortune but he treated us as if we were his most important customer. We had been burned by a contractor last summer so we were gun-shy to begin with. Randy was never pushy, never tried to upsell us. I had even asked about a more expensive material and he gave his honest opinion and suggested that for our home granite would be a better fit. Marcie, was also really pleasant to work with. They gave us a reasonable price on two beautiful slabs of granite. Randy squeezed us into a tight schedule so we wouldn't have to go so long without countertops or a sink. Kari called us the day before confirming when the installers would arrive. They (Felix and Aaron) were on time, very respectable, upbeat and did a fantastic job! Cleaned up everything on their way out. Made sure that the floors were covered and protected. They worked hard but did not rush..and really focused on quality. Answered all our questions and were informed about the product and how to keep it looking brand new. And we were left with the most beautiful countertops. We are thrilled! :) Honestly, my husband and I could not be more impressed or pleased with the outcome. Kudos to Northwest Stone Fabricators. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I love supporting local, family owned businesses. They are a top notch company!

They had good selection and prices. The quality of their stone and their work seemed much higher than others that I met so I went with them even though they were not the lowest in price. I was not disappointed with work, the stone looks fabulous.They store their stone on-site so you get exactly the slab that you select. The best part about their service is that they come and take measurements and make full-size templates of the install. Then we got to lay the template ourselves on the stone piece that they used. Every piece of granite is unique and then one we bought had a lot of different formations within it. With the templates we could choose where each part of the stone would go. It was fun and the end result was great!
