 + -1 moreExcellent craftsmanship. Successfully overcame the challenge of untrue windows. Also, was very helpful in discussing design decisions for the dining room window shoji screen treatment. Very pleased also with his pricing. Shutters tend to be expensive but his pricing was very competitive. We would hire him again, but we've run out of windows to cover. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Newport Custom Shutters built and painted two custom shutters. The windows were not standard size; so the shutters would fit , he came up w/an ingenious solution involving removing the latches, sanding, filling, painting the holes and installing two different latches which allowed the shutter to fit perfectly into the opening. This project was completed in less than a week, the craftsmanship of the highest quality, the paint match perfect, (which required two extra no-charge trips). Having managed remodeling jobs, I can safely say his work is impressive and will recommend him to everyone. Have him make shutters even if you don't need them....
