The price was fair and it was good service.

While closing our (double width) garage door one evening, one of the guide wires came off the winder at the end, causing it to jam at an angle. It was impossible to close. I called around a few places with the intention of having someone out that night to fix it. I ended up talking to Dan (owner of National Door Inc). He was very professional and helpful - he talked me through the problem and asked what I had done to try and fix it myself, and then said he could either come out that evening at a higher cost, or be there first thing in the morning to take a look. I elected to have him come the next day. He arrived promptly and was one of the nicest, most professional people I've ever dealt with for this sort of thing. He quickly had the door fixed and running better than I had ever seen it. I had him quote me for a replacement because we had been wanting to replace it for a few years and he gave me a quote which sounded reasonable. To my own discredit, I didn't get a competitive quote, but I was so impressed with his work that I didn't think it was worth the hassle. I don't remember the name of the guy who came to do the install, but, like Dan, he was super professional, knew exactly what he was doing, and had our old door down and the new one in place in a matter of hours. I rarely feel compelled to recommend services from companies, but I would strongly recommend Dan and the rest of his team without hesitation. I only just joined this site, hence the late review, but I'm still posting it in the hope that it will prove useful to someone else.

Called National Door after 6pm on Wed night as both springs on our garage door broke: sounded like a bomb went off as the door fell about 1/3 of the way down due to broken springs and stripped cables. Spoke with a gal who promised someone would phone us 8am or after the next morning (they don't have 24 hour service, just fyi). Since we had both cars stuck inside the garage, fixing this was paramount. ;) Chris, the tech, called as promised, arrived in the window promised (within an hour or so from his call) and fixed our big mess. He was personable, professional and more than polite. The spring was beyond broken on both sides and cables shot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We called National Door on Friday afternoon, when we realized we had a broken spring in the garage door of the house we were about to move in to. Johnette, who answered my call, was extremely courteous and accommodating. She suggested that I take a picture of the broken spring and email it to her, so that Dan, her husband, will be able to take a look. I did just that, and she called me back within an hour or so, saying that Dan has the spring and is able to come over and have it fixed the next morning (which was Saturday!). Dan arrived exactly at the scheduled time, informed us on everything he did and everything we still need done, was very pleasant and communicative and charged what we thought was a perfectly reasonable price. All in all, we had a great service experience. It was a real pleasure to find a family-owned business run by two decent, honest and pleasant people like Dan and Johnette. I strongly recommend them as service providers for everything garage door.

Friendly and professional service, reasonable price.

prompt service,(expidited over-night delivery of new opener from Vancouver, Wa.) Very knowledgeable, helpful office staff. They even provided a $40. rebate coupon. Installer arrived at the schedualed time. Installation was quick & efficient. The only problem was inadaquate instruction for door operation by installer.

Dispatch was pleasant and knowledgeable and identified the problem on the phone. Although they gave us a 3 hour range as to when someone would be here (the same day) the person arrived at the beginning of that range. Work was done quickly. In fact, it was done so quickly, it made the service fee seem a bit high (though it's probably competitive) - that's why I gave them a "B" on price.

Our garage door was off the runner. We really gave very little notice - we called them and said ASAP. It was a Saturday, and he came out on SUNDAY, on the agreed time. He fixed it, explained how we can keep the doors maintained and was very professional and friendly. This was our second time to use them and both times were very good experiences.

The folks at this company were very friendly and professional. I had a problem with my garage door not closing. I called them early in the morning on a weekend and they were good enough to call me back and come for a service call promptly. This company has been around for a long time, truly the experience showed. It turned out they were the original installers of the garage door. Glad I called the right people! Their service call rates were reasonable too.

They were fantastic. There estimate came in at about half the other competitors estimates. They showed up and did the job and had a quality product.
