I want to start off by thanking Alex, (Installer) his craftsmanship, thoughtful approach and attention to detail was the main reason for such a successful outcome to our project. I do like that Alex works for, (is employed by) the company, and was not a sub-contractor. This is important when it comes to accountability, if there’s an issue, it’s the companies issue, not the sub-contractors issue. I am a very high touch client, meaning I was very involved with all phases, and with that said, things still slipped through the cracks, details were missed. Again, lucky for us, Alex was able to stand tall and right the ship in the moment. He always had a fantastic solution or idea to make sure we were completely satisfied. Be sure to finalize all details and I mean think of every little thing before signing. Make sure all materials are covered, right down to the garbage disposal, otherwise additional charges will add up. Our kitchen turned out absolutely beautiful, on time, and we’re completely satisfied with the end product. And when it comes to working with a design/build company like this one, you’re not going to find many better. Especially if you can secure Alex as your installer.

This is a great company. They remodeled our kitchen (including a wall removal) and two full bathrooms and repiped our house. We have been very happy with the result. Raz, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Vered, the designer partner, is great to work with, is well organized and excellent in public relations. She guided us through the design and kept close touch during the execution. Adrian, the foreman, is a most talented worker and great work leader. We originally expected the work to take three months and were most pleasantly surprised to have the full remodel completed in six weeks. We strongly recommend this company.

In our attempts to finalize the minor details of our revitalization last year; it almost seems an afterthought to submit this review. Apologies for the delayed review. We know the importance a business needs for its continued success is the client’s reviews. Reviews gauge a business’s continued future. From the moment we contacted them & spoke to Dorothea, to inquire about the main floor renovation, we have felt and energy of positivity & possibilities for the intended job that we wanted done. We had an already intended idea of what we expected to be done design-wise. The positive was that Lux Design Builds honeyed that. The collaboration of the entire staff assigned was phenomenal! Certain design ideas were interjected to improve the design that we wanted done for the renovation. Of course, along the way, we incurred some ‘kinks’ which is not unusual. However, it was no problem for Raz & Vered to send part of their team over to fix and amend the unforetold problems after the fact. To recap the job: Renovation to the main floor of a daylight rambler home. Modernize the fireplace; removed several walls to give a more open floor plan in the kitchen/dining/living room area; modernized all the doors (French doors) & windows (double pane); created a master bathroom en-suite w/heated tile floors and reconfigured a bedroom into a combined primary bathroom/storage linen room also with heated tile floors. All this was done w/o having to add on extra square footage. The outcome is so exceptional!! Lux Design Builds are a sincere business with the best intentions for their clients to be satisfied with the work performed by all. We’d like to thank all the staff; Dorothea, Raz, Vered, Bassia, Dan, Andrey, his dad, Gil & Vladimir. there were many more of the staff that we do wish to thank, but unfortunately their names have escaped our minds. Than you so very much for the exceptional job done!!!

Great experience.

We would recommend Lux Design Builds to anyone contemplating a bathroom remodel project. We preferred to hire a design-build firm so we only had to deal with one company. We chose this firm mainly due to Vered’s excellent sense of design that she exhibited on previous projects. She did not disappoint. We had a pretty well developed idea of what we wanted for our master bathroom and our preferred layout but Vered improved upon the design and helped us choose the right materials and colors. We removed the old, unused soaking tub and replaced it with a new larger shower and added more cabinetry in place of the old shower. Lux was easy to work with and they respected our budget. The crew on our project did an excellent job and were very courteous. There were very few issues during construction and only minor change orders for things that we chose to add. The cabinet maker – Superior Cabinets – did a great job and were very affordable for a custom maker. We are very happy with our beautiful new bathroom.

I never thought that remodeling our kitchen, flooring, bathroom and living room would be a pleasant experience, but it absolutely was working with Lux Designs. I truly appreciated all the attention to detail and the constant communication. Vered has amazing ideas and is there every step of the way. She will go with you to pick out materials and is there working with the construction team as it is installed. Saki keeps up excellent communication throughout the process, and even provides the much needed moral and marital support that you need during a remodel. I would highly recommend this excellent team of professionals.

It was a phenomenal experience working with Lux Design Builds. Vered and Raz addressed all our concerns - working with us to define the scope of the work, developing detailed design plans, helping us narrow down the specific design elements while keeping our overall vision in mind. They went above and beyond to complete this renovation on budget and on time. We now have a home that is much more beautiful than we thought we could accomplish.

There is no need to worry when working with Vered. She knows her stuff and will take great care to bring your vision to life! She understood my more classic style for our Master Bathroom project and was there from start to finish. To save money, my husband and I kept the current layout of the bathroom. With that decision, there were issues that arose but she and the wonderful contractors were able to bring my ideas to fruition and our Master Bathroom turned out beautifully! The Lux Design Builds crew she (and her business partner Raz Gunderman) brought in to put my vision together was such a pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail down to the layout of the herringbone marble tile was a nice touch. If I ever have another huge project – my husband and I would not hesitate to use her again.
