Description of Work: April 3, at 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., I had an appointment with the service provider to come to my home to clean my carpets. At 9:30 a.m., the day of service, a rep called and said he'd try to call all morning because a tech had called in sick and they had no one to come out and perform the services that day. I had already prepped the rooms by clearing out the furniture and thoroughly vacuuming the rugs as well as scheduling an extra day of doggy daycare so that when my dog came home that evening the rugs would be dry enough for her to run free. He asked if he could reschedule for another day. I stated I didn't have much of a choice if no one was available. Then he said wait a minute, maybe I can have someone there after all. He then said between 2:00 and 3:00 that afternoon. I at first agreed but after hanging up, realized my dog would still be coming home to wet carpets. Within 15 minutes I called him back. A young lady answered the phone and I explained to her why I decided to cancel. She said she would let him know. I then checked my caller ID, wondering why I hadn't heard the phone ring earlier and saw there had been no other phone calls from Tubro that day. At 3:15 that afternoon, after I had gone to pick up the dog, a gentleman left a message stating he'd be here within the half hour to clean the carpets. My husband retrieved the message and told him the appointment had been canceled. He thanked my husband for the phone call and hung up. On Saturday I got another phone call from Tubro asking if the Monday, 1:00 p.m. appointment was for consultation or to actually clean the rugs. At this point I'm shaking head, questioning their reliability and not wanting any more confusion, I decided to request a refund.

Description of Work: Despite the mention of restoration and sanding in the Angie's List offer, when the technician arrived he informed us that all he was going to do was to clean the hardwood floor and put a coating of protection on. The cleaning went well but the coating was applied by hand and it was very uneven (gaps in coverage). We called the next morning to find out what they used so we could put another coat on but Isiah said they would take care of it if we sent them some pictures. We immediately sent them pictures and then heard nothing for over 6 hours. I called again to see when they would be coming back but Isiah had already gone home. Another person said he would see what he could find out and would call us back. There was no call back. We called the next morning and Isiah said he would need to talk to the boss and he'd call us right back. Later that afternoon after not receiving a call, we called again. I explained to John who answered the phone that Isiah said he would talk to the boss and get back to us. John commented that the boss was in then he transferred me to Isiah. Isiah proceeded to tell me that the boss had been out all day and was still in the field. (I wonder which of the two was being truthful.) He said he would phone the boss and get back to me in 15 minutes. He finally called an hour and a half later to schedule a time to come out. |The work was finally completed in the following week. Of course that meant we couldn't move the furniture back until it was done. We had planned to have this company clean our carpets, too, but with the hassle we experienced, we will use another company for the carpets.

Description of Work: They carpets look fantastic! We are moving and wanted the carpets to look nice for showing a house for sale. You can't even tell where the furniture was placed anymore and the carpets almost look new even in high traffic areas of the home. I would recommend this service provider and if I were not moving I would use them again.
