Tubro Carpet Cleaning

Javier called an hour before arriving. He showed up on time and was professional. He offered an extra stain treatment for $25 which I accepted for a carpeted bathroom floor that was in bad shape. He was detail oriented and thorough. The carpets look great.

Came to clean the carpet in my condo. My carpet was not all that dirty but just wanted to keep it looking new. They did a wonderful job very professional.

They showed up at the scheduled time with a truck mounted carpet cleaning system. They cleaned the carpets. It all went smoothly.

The carpet was cleaned well enough. The technician arrived and inspected the areas to be cleaned, highlighting the pet stains. He informed that their specific process for dealing with pet stains and odors was not included in the package I purchased and would be an additional $50 per room. I was a bit disappointed, as I assumed that cleaning pet stains was part of the service. I declined the additional service, and the results are fine. The carpets are clean and the stains and odors are gone. The technician said he did his best with them, but there is a possibility they could return. So far so good.

We had a hard time scheduling. The morning of the appointment, he was supposed to be here from 9-10 for one hour and I got a call about quarter to 10 saying they had a staff meeting so he was on his way then and it took him an hour and a half to get here because traffic was bad. He was very late so I had rearrange my schedule to comply with his new scheduled time and was not happy that it was again interfering with my plans because now he was an hour and a half late. The guy who did the work was nice. They agreed that if I wanted follow-up work, I would get a discount.

I bought the $89 for 3 rooms deal on AL which I found by searching for providers that service Edmonds. When the crew arrived they charged my wife a $25 travel fee because they "came from Auburn". The fee wasn't mentioned to me on the phone when I booked and is not on the fine print of the deal. They also charged extra because one room was too big, even though one of the "rooms" they did was our staircase - would have thought the two would even themselves out. My wife felt like they were running a bait and switch with this deal and ultimately ended up paying $60 on top of the original deal cost. Not happy at all.

They had to cancel at the last minute due to the technician being ill. Being my tight timeline, they made every effort to get there the same day. They couldn't make it happen but scheduled for first thing the next morning. I felt fully informed and not forgotten. They came out, did a fantastic job on the carpets and were very professional and truly showed pride in their work.

Trevor was professional and personable. He explained in appropriate detail what he was going to do and gave me an up-close-and-personal tour of the stains and potential trouble spots he noticed in his walk through. I was forced to spend a couple of hours relaxing and reading on my shady deck while he worked his magic--and the place smells amazing! I would have no problem recommending Tubro to friends or family in the future; finding them with an Angie's List "Big Deal" made the experience even sweeter.

I evidently also need some restoration work done, which I realized once the workman viewed the kitchen floor. Such restoration will involve sanding/re-staining, a process that is a much more extensive and expensive than preservation. I chose to simply go ahead with the preservation even though it wasn't going to do everything I had hoped. It would have helped to know more about the limits of the service I had purchased, but that was probably my fault for not clarifying what could/could not be done. I'll know more next time, but I was happy with the service provider's handling of the situation and would use them for other services.

When they first came, they informed me that it would be an additional $75 for the extra square footage, which I was fine with. Then, they offered to add a coat of shine on top for an additional $105, which I also agreed to. After a few hours, I did not notice any change in the wood and didn't see any gloss. I called the company back, and the person on the phone informed me that the owner would get back with me later that afternoon (Friday, 5/22) I have yet to hear back from them and I tried contacting them with no response. I am upset that I had to pay an extra $105 for a gloss that I can't even see.

The only constructive criticism I have is that when I paid for the Angies List coupon, and then was contacted by TUBRO, I wasn't aware that it was $25 extra if they had to vacuum first. This was an empty house and it was a big hassle to run all the way to the house with my vacuum cleaner. I would just have assumed that "carpet cleaning" means that they clean the carpet. Which to me means that vacuuming should be part of the job, or else it should be more clearly disclosed BEFORE the deal was purchased that vacuuming is extra. Other than that, all the people I dealt with were friendly and professional and I would use them again.

Went fine, friendly staff. The cleaning material smelled different then other carpet cleaners, clean and fresh.

Javier was very timely and professional. He cleaned three rooms in our house, and the results were very nice and clean. The rooms smelled good and the carpet looked great. I would definitely use again.

It went well and I thought it was a good deal. They came out within two weeks and I have them scheduled to come out again, I have more work for them. I had them do an additional turbo clean and that was $25 additional per room. I had some stains that wouldn't come out and I had to have another company come and dye them. One person came out. It looked great, other than the stains that they couldn't get removed. They don't do dye jobs and I had to pay an additional $25 per room for the extra scrubbing. I will probably have them back because, I get a professional scrubbing every two years. I thought I was going to have to pay more. They were early.

Johnny arrived on time, looked the entire scope of work, made recommendations and got right to work. Looks amazing, would refer this company to all.

The tech was great! Paid an upgrade for more heavy duty cleaning. Once dry not much of a difference to the carpet

Charles was extremely polite and efficient from start to finish! Very, very professional and explained everything. No pressure to buy all the extras but he did make suggestions when I asked. Truthfully I've never seen anyone work so hard and so thoroughly. Give Charles a raise!!!!

Jonathan arrived on time, introduced himself, briefly educated us about the process, explained options available and kept us informed every step of the way. Very thorough and professional.

Called first as promised, on time, protected corners of walls from being damaged by hoses. Carpet looks great!
