Tubro Carpet Cleaning

On 09/29/15 I purchased an $89 Angie?s List coupon from Tubro Carpet Cleaning in Auburn. The coupon was to clean three rooms for $89. Tubro contacted me promptly and the appointment was scheduled for 10/05. They clarified that a flight of stairs counted as one room and pet stains would be additional. I understood this and told them that I expected to pay more for an additional room and significant pet stains. The technician arrived as scheduled, took pictures of the areas to be cleaned, checked with his supervisor on the best method for cleaning and told me he would need to ?rotovac? and hand scrub many of the areas to be cleaned. I was quoted an additional $110 for the work to be performed and agreed to the charge without reservation. When the technician finished I was concerned that the carpets did not look their best and assumed it to be the nature of the carpet (Berber) and that it would improve as it dried. That was not the case. By the next day it was apparent that the job was sub-par. I contacted Tubro and emailed pictures of the finished work. I told the scheduler that I didn?t expect miracles but I certainly expected better results than that which I could achieve myself with an inexpensive steam cleaner. They agreed to redo the cleaning and scheduled a new appointment for 10/07, two days following the original work. The weather was turning from clear and dry to soggy rain and I was concerned about drying time especially if there was another fail with the service. On 10/6 I decided to purchase a new steam cleaner and, since furnishings were already out of the way, clean it myself to see if I could achieve a better outcome. If I was unsuccessful, they could then do their thing the following day. On the morning of 10/7 I took pictures of my finished results and compared them to the pictures taken following their work. The results were indisputable. When the technicians arrived I asked them to redo the stairs per our agreement since I had run out of ?steam? the previous evening. They did clean the stairs which turned out modestly better than the previous attempt but still in need of attention. I sent the comparative pictures in an email to their main contact address and requested nothing more than a refund of their fees. I heard nothing more until I sent an additional email telling them I would take the matter to social media were it not resolved by 10/14. Their response was to stand by, the matter was under review and, ??we will be in contact with you??. That is the last I heard from Tubro. UPDATE: When I picked up my mail today (10/16) I found a note of apology from Tubro along with a check for 55% of the fees paid.

Couch and loveseat was cleaned adequately but I dont feel like it was much of a deal with 99$ + tax

They came and cleaned the carpets very well even got out a few juice stains. Came back a week later and stretched the carpets. They look good as new. Just in time for the sale of the house.

Trever went above and beyond, he called early after another appointment had cancelled and was at my home 2 hours prior to our original appointment. He did a wonderful job cleaning my carpet, even gave me advice about how to best clean my laminate floors and range! It was a very educational and and pleasant.

Extremely professional and prompt. Carpets appeared very clean afterwards. My only complaint is that I used an Angie's coupon, but then ended up spending much more. E.g., one room counted as two, and I believe my stairs counted as two rooms. Then the tech convinced me to upgrade... I spent nearly twice as much as the voucher. Great service, but beware that it may cost more out-of-pocket than planned.

It was just fine. We were really happy with everything. The carpet's look great. We had to recliners that are fabric so I asked him to give me a bid on those and they were like a hundred dollars a piece and it was worth it. They look really good. He did a great job. I believe the amount of carpet was close because we have a big house.

Charles came by on time, and had a real positive countenance. He made it clear what I needed, and what I did not. After I decided, he went to work. It was in much shorter time than he had estimated. I will need their service again, and I plan to ask for him by name.

Charles called before arriving, pleasant and polite. He was ontime and immediately set to work. He was very methodical and polite working diligently the whole time even when I had questions; which he answered to my satisfaction.

He was very thorough and paid attention to all the details. I was very happy.

The technician RW, gave a call stating that he would be early which worked perfect. He showed up with the truck mounted steam cleaning machine. He walked through the house, took pictures using I-pad type device, explained some other features he could offer but not a "hard sell". I just wanted carpets cleaned and he performed that task. He set up bright orange wall corner protectors to protect the paint and placed shoe protectors when walking on the carpets. The job took about 2 hours. Carpets look great. I would recommend and will utilize Tubro again.

Everything went fine as the crew arrived in time and did the job very well. I found them to be cooperative and helpful in providing tips in how to keep the floor clean.

Absolutely great! Second time we've used Tubro and we will use them again. Professional, on time, considerate of your home and your furniture. Best of all, the Croats are oh so clean! Charles thoroughly explains what he will do and ensures the job was done to meet our expectation. He's the best!

They were an hour late which was inconvenient as I was meeting them at a rental house, but they called at the agreed time and told me they'd be an hour late so I had to leave and come back. They must have called/emailed 6-8 times to confirm the appointment, which was odd - and still missed it after all that. Outside of that did a great job. Avoided the up sell on "extra special cleaning", but they'll get you on areas to clean. Bought a coupon covering up to 2000 sqft, but had to pay more as they broke up the 1600sqft home (1200sqft of which is carpet) into to areas (stairs is one, hallway is another, bedroom, etc) and limit it to 8 areas. As such disregard the square footage coverage. The number of areas limitation will come into play more for smaller to average sized homes. Had to pay extra to get all 1200 sqft done as such, but still a reasonable price. Would use again. Was low cost, fast, and good experience overall.

I was contacted the very next day after purchasing the order and the lady said they could have someone out when it was convenient for me. The day before they were scheduled to come I had to cancel. The lady could not have been nicer and said not to worry what day would be good for me. Ollie a very nice young man called when he was on his way. After taking a look at the carpets we wanted clean he got right to work. I had some stains from a plant I had over watered and it left a brown stain that I could not get out plus our friend little dog had left it's calling card so there was a yellow mark. TUBRO Carpet Cleaning have a large new truck with an impressive cleaning machine that really did a fantastic job. We no longer have the stains. I am super happy with TUBRO and will use them again

We were very happy with the service. There were some additional charges for stains, but those were explained and agreed upon before hand.
